Can’t remember, you run TRT or nah?
Nah, I do plan on getting T levels checked at some point though to see where I’m at since turned 35 this year.

Yesterday, **** show rain then freezing rain. Got to the gym though was glad for that.

30 minutes treadmill first 15 3.5mph 9 percent incline last 15 3.5 at 12 percent incline.

Felt sluggish as didn’t get much movement in yesterday with weather, and fat intake was up from normal. Definitely sore from the weights from Monday.

Weight 260.2

Calories 2172/ 103 grams/ carbs 170 grams/ protein 173 grams

Seemed like I ate a lot yesterday but didn’t get as much protein in.

Have a great hump day everyone!

Are those DB rows one arm at a time? If so, you need to try to push those harder. They shouldn’t be that close to your curl weights, and they will really pay out more than most movements if you can progress them some.

Doing great work!

These rows I set up a incline bench so 2 DB rowing reverse on the incline bench if that makes sense?

But I agree I think I should have went to 40’s was really trying to concentrate that muscle contraction but I think I can step it up. Maybe next week go back to the single arm DB row I think I feel that more.

Oh that is much harder, the dual incline supported. I try to go up 5lb increments - try the 35s if you have access to them.

How many pull ups can you do unassisted ?

Make sure you make the most of your eccentric phase when doing pull ups (when you're lowering yourself down). Go super slow and make sure to go through the whole range of motion (all the way to just hanging, don't go back up early or let go before you bottom out).

If you can assist your way back up to the top after failure, do a few extra eccentric lowers (unassisted) nice and slow.

Back in the day when I first started training, this is what took me from not being able to do 1, to being able to do more than 10, in a relatively short period of time.

2 but it’s progress, at first 1 was a struggle.
The reason I ask is I believe pull-ups have helped my back development more than anything else. I like what @match has to offer here, I would get your (unassisted) than get a few more and really resist the negative.

Heavily agree that doing negatives is the best way to build the strength to do unassisted chins. Most people who use the band/assistance tend to stay on the band in my experience, women and men. Better to treat the pull-ups as hard & heavy (and do this frequently!) and then use the Pulldowns after to add extra volume. That will get you going, and as mentioned they are a huge muscular payout.

Plus, as you strip some fat, they will get easier over time too!

Since you are natural, you probably want a little more fat. I would try to always get at least 60 grams in/day to sufficient resources for testosterone manufacture.

Looks like a fun workout. Excellent job tracking everything on your log, and based on your past week or two of posts you're seeing some results. Way to go! How long til your next set of progress photos? I personally love doing side by side comparisons of my photos from 5 months ago compared to today.

Match, I’ll probably do pics again end of April it will be 3 month ish. The main reason for that is I will be finishing this job up so I’ll either be heading to another location for work or have some time off.

Since we sold are house and are still shopping the market, I’ll pick a Rv park where we are wanting to live, find a gym and house shop. Until the call comes in to hit the road.

Yesterday not a bad day work and then the weekend coming! Took the wife out for a dinner date night something we always look forward too. Was not as happy at the gym looking in the mirrors I looked bloated and softer then I had, mentally it was bothering me. Still knocked out my work out and then hammered out 15 minutes on the elliptical, going pretty hard.

Stretching work on abs/ warmup sets before working sets

Seated OHP- 3x10 55lbs

Upright row- 3x10 45 lbs

BB shrug- 3x10 115lbs

Seated Arnold press- 3x10 25lbs

Side raise- 3x10 10lbs

Front raise- 3x10 10lbs

Shoulder press machine- 3x8 55lbs

Wrist curls- 45lbs 3 sets as many as I could

55lbs DB walked around the gym burning my forearms.

This weekend going to do some intermittent fasting, next week drop my calories down m-f. Tracking my calories and looking back I average around the 2100 range. With very little physical activity at work (with weather warming will get more walking in during the day) and 5 days at the gym 4 days weights one day cardio. It seems that the 2100 is maintenance for the last 4 weeks and I have stayed at that 259.6-261 range consistently.

Weight 260.2

Calories 2031/ fat 54 g/ carbs 162 g/ protein 185.4

Have a fantastic weekend everyone!

Well other then the wild weather was a good weekend. I did fast Saturday and Sunday, and just ate a nice simple meal in the evening chicken/ broccoli/sweet potato then roast/baby potatoes/ asparagus/ 2 slices of that light calorie bread. I felt fantastic and definitely dropped a few pounds over the weekend. Also today just a small lunch and dinner.

I could definitely feel the difference in the gym, not so much in the weight but in my volume I was struggling to hits 10 reps for my 3 sets. So that part definitely is not fueled/ on the flip side looking in the mirror I was pumped I think the best I have seen yet. Maybe dropping some water just making normal pump stand out more? Don’t know for sure but it definitely made a difference and even the wife made comments at the gym noticing I looked bigger.

So will see I think this week going to shoot for 1600-1800 a day to see how it goes. Well onto the deets.

Warm ups/stretching/ warmups sets before working sets. (Place was busy so this is not the order I wanted to go in)

Wide grip pull-ups- 2

Machine chest press- 3x10 75lbs

Pec dec machine- 3x10 105 lbs

Bench press- 2x10 135lbs 1x8 135lbs

Incline bench press- 3x10 95lbs

Lying DB fly- 3x10 25lbs

Skull crusher- 3x10 50lbs curl bar

V grip Tricep pushdown- 3x10 70lbs

Rope Tricep extension- 3x10 30lbs

10 minutes on stair master thing

2caps optimize T- 1cap inhibit P - morning/night

Still feeling lighter, tighter, leaner. So this is making me feel great obviously! Pretty good day still on pretty good restriction but it’s completely manageable. I think my fasting and one meal a day over the weekend helped condition for this week really well. Gym work was back/biceps definitely not at my strongest but I swear it feels like I’m working the muscles harder and I can feel it. Hard to explain but it’s different then any other time in my lifting history. So on to the deets.

Warmups/ stretching

Deadlift- 1x8 135lbs 1x8 185 1x5 235lbs

BB row wide grip- 3x10 135lbs

Pull-ups- 2x3 body weight then when I had no more gas I would get up and slowly lower down think 4 of these

Seated row- 3x10 wide bar 110lbs

Pull down machine- 2x10 80lbs 1x10 110 lbs

Ez bar drag curls- 3x10 50lbs

DB plate curl- 3x10 35lbs

Preacher curl- 3x10 ezbar50lbs

Hammer curl- 3x10 25lbs (struggles I was toast)

Ab machine- 3x20 115lbs

Seated bicycle thing turned up with fair amount of resistance- 10min

Weight 257.4 lbs

Going to have a sticker made to put on the camper with this

Update for today weight the same 257.4. The bad woke up this morning with a horrible sore throat, through out the day congestion buildup. So layer low tonight drinking water, tea/honey/lemon.

Managed to get some food in even though not feeling it.

Calories 1389/ fat 64.4g/ carbs 56g/ protein 150g

Might chow down 200 grams of cottage cheese later but we will see.

Have legs lined up for tomorrow so we will see if that plays out.

Wondering if it’s not the drastic temperature fluctuations we have had in the last few days.

Zinc & Vitamin C are my go to's. I hope you feel better !!

Agree I have zinc I low dose it 3 days a week but high dosing this week. My daily regiment even when I was out of the gym is fish oil/vitamin c/ zinc/ vitamin b stress complex/ winter time I run vitamin D I stop that over the summer.

Good thing today sore throat has passed, bad news congestion has moved up to my sinuses and nose is plugged. Miserable today sleep last night was garbage.

Will be in a hot shower and off to bed here shortly.

Diesel this morning had to fill up 4.99 a gallon I have a 30 gallon tank took 28 gallons, I almost cried.

Still plugged up, but I think it’s starting to break today yesterday was the worst. If any luck maybe can get to the gym on Sunday. Also didn’t help I had a bunch of inspections to do Friday and it was cold and windy.

Oh well life goes on have still kept my calories in the 1600-1800 range, fluids like crazy actually forced down some pedialyte yesterday for the zinc and potassium.

Also looks like hopefully the end of the cold/snow next week all 60’s and lows of only 30 so will be looking forward to that!

And the time change so more daylight!! The wife has not enjoyed me sitting around with this cold.

I’ve been looking at toy hauler fifth wheels, with you guessed it room to make a very small gym in that section

I’ve seen guys before on the road do this with toy hualers, just have to be careful of the weight. I’ve talked to some that have reinforced the floor to handle more weight.

We will see contemplating moving to are DOT division and working in one area. Been on the road for close to 15 years.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Not sure it will happen as I just got this Rv last year but hey you never know!

So made it to the gym this morning, I had the fire for sure!! My body wasn’t quite as ready but still had a decent session, just took a lot longer to get done then normal. Had a busy day, gym, 2 mile dog walk, enjoy the 60 degree day and cooked a steak on the smoker. So out put was high but food intake was lowwww today.

Stretching/ warmups before working sets

Squats- 3x10 140lbs

Stiff leg deadlifts- 3x10 80lbs

Leg press- 3x15 160lbs

Glad to be back at it, hoping the wife does not catch it we will see. She is a big juicer and I know gets way more vitamin c then me. Also have her doubled up on zinc to see if she can beat it.

Back when I had just really started training, I ran into a guy at the gym I hadn’t seen in many months. Looked way better, had made some visible progress, and I asked him what he had been doing to get the obvious results.

He told me, “Man, I know it sounds crazy, but I started juicin’ - it just seems like my gym performance has completely taken off! I feel incredible when I train now!” I was so shocked, I was searching for words.

Then he says, “Honestly it sucks constantly having to buy all the fresh veggies every few days, & always cleaning the machine, but I feel so much healthier getting these drinks in.”

I was so glad I didn’t ask him more about steroids
