Can anyone out there qucikly outline a diet that will work FAST.
I'm trying to lose 30lbs within the next 6 weeks or so.

chances are that aint going to happen......

lower the calories especially the carbs, up the protein and do shedloads of cardio!! eal 5-6 small meals per day rather then the usual 2-3. Look into a fat burner or something as theres heaps out there. Green Tea if you want a cheap one....
 
it will be temporary weight loss. caffeine and an AI will help shed water weight(that will come back). cardio and reduced carbs. restrict calories, small meals.

Doing conventional math, thats 5 pounds a week. 3500 calories per pound puts you at a 2500 calorie deficit a day. Assuming you can do it, that means going on a maybe 1500 calorie a day diet, and doing 4 hours or so a day of medium to high intensity cardio, like a stationary bike.

in 12-14 weeks, its not too bad to actually do. Thats what I did earlier this year, still loosing. I've got another 20 or so to go, and hope to do that in 8 more weeks.

Velocity Diet alongside a good solid training regime. It's not for everyone though. There's info on it here if you search or you can search on the t-nation site/forum. 30 pnds in 6 weeks is heck of a lot though.
