Can’t ever go wrong with a pop tart but over Super Stuffed ones…..damn that’s another level of good! The overfilled poptarts are good! But keep in mind they are individually packaged for the listed macros, and only 5 in a box. So if you eat 2, they are more calories overall.
I just had the Cinnamon Carmel ones last night, and they’re even better than the strawberry.
Yea I’ve been thinking about ordering duretics from ma when you guys get them in but hearing this is a big relief I’m glad to hear thanks man
I personally avoid them myself. They absolutely have a place, but I don't really have a place for them in the things that I do. I don't particularly hold a ton of water either. Even on compounds that normally bloat people up. I have used them in small amounts with people who wanted to try them and I definitely can see the results, but me personally, especially with all the high intensity cardio I do and the sparring and the running I don't want to take any chances. I'm usually dehydrated if I'm not paying attention anywaysBe careful with those.
From a bodybuilding perspective, if you just get leaner you simply don’t need them (that’s what John Meadows always preached). Just be ready & take your conditioning seriously.
If you’re making weight for a strength contest, we have dropped 10% bodyweight with my wife many times without them, and put back on more than that by contest 24 hours later without the use of IVs. If you know what you are doing, diuretics are entirely unnecessary.
Poptarts... YUM!doView attachment 263720
I haven't had these before but I picked them because they have less fat and more carbs and are also slightly lower in calories.
I also picked it cuz I wanted some f****** Pop-Tarts!
As much as they have shrunk these I imagine you are getting as much filling as used to come in the regular ones, but just thinner breading. It is wild how they shrink the items, AND lower the actual quantity while raising the prices. Still sounds good, I already decided if I am getting poptarts again, THEY WILL BE SUPPER STUFFED!!!!Can’t ever go wrong with a pop tart but over Super Stuffed ones…..damn that’s another level of good!
Shrink-flation at its best! I look at super stuffed pop tarts like double stuffed Oreos, regular ones aren’t worth buying when you have double/super stuffed!Poptarts... YUM!

Actually, I think these might be a part of my upcoming weekend carb up!!!!
They definitely have shrunk the regular Pop-Tarts but the stuffed ones have way more than the old Pop-Tarts used to. And even though there's five of the stuffed ones in a box instead of six of the little ones the total weight of the box is more and the total calories of the box are less the fat is lower as well too so if you eat one whole box versus one whole box you're still winning with the stuffed onesPoptarts... I haven’t either. I usually go for the brown sugar cinnamon ones or strawberry. Cinnamon Carmel sounds good!Oh wow! Cinnamon Caramel!!!!! I have never even seen these, but I know what I am going to look for!!!!
Ramen-Pho-dumpling soup!
I'm hoping to use primo and avoid EQ mainly because I've used it so much in the past year or two, but also at the same time if I get my blood work, and hematocrit is good and kidney function markers and everything is looking good, which I expect it to be, but if everything is good then I guess EQ is absolutely on the table still. And with the amount of cardio I do it's probably/definitely a better choice. I haven't been taking any carnitine because the only one I have right now is mixed in one of those extreme versions with like six other things. I really don't want to mess with amp and a few other things right now. And I'm kind of liking only having to take a shot once a week. I think I'm going to save that for when i bring in the stim free fat burners. You’re doing a good bit of cardio, that and eating a 1000 less calories, coupled with your job probably is why you are tired outside the gym. After your blood work you could add a little EQ, if you have any, maybe throw in some injectable L-Carnitine if you haven’t already.
Yeah I'm thinking I want to get down to about 7 to 8% and last time I got probably to 9% I was about 180 lb. Also keep in mind that time and this time I severely reduce the amount of lifting I was doing, was off cycle, Last time because I was trying to get into fight shape and this time just because I'm trying to recover all these injuries. Which it's working wonderfully and I've actually been doing a s*** ton of boxing training in place of it to the point where I can beat the heavy bag up again without any shoulder pain. Now that everything starting to feel good again I have done more lifting I did quite a bit of push yesterday morning and then a couple random exercises in the evening along with my heavy bag work. But I'm still pushing the reps super high. My main exercises are all 25 rep sets, sometimes 30, and towards the back half of the workout I was doing sets of 10 to 12 but I basically made it so that I was already kind of gassed out so it's not like I was doing heavy sets of 10 to 12. I've been doing absolutely nothing to failure and just doing pump work.Yeah, you said you planned on getting shredded, so while i bet you look great right now you were tossing out 7% bodyfat a couple weeks ago so that is probably going to be a bit deeper. The last time you were there you got down to about 180 for that fight you were training for weren't you?

I have a feeling I will have to be in the 180's now to get into the single digits, but I honestly don't know.
Now if I hit 180 and was not like pretty close to contest ready I would be shocked. I am thinking 183-187 to be very lean. I could be wrong but we will see. I think around 190 would be very good, and anything below would be getting into super lean territory. My pics during prep for my natty show in 2009 are basically what I am going off of here.aint that funny? and I'd probably be another 10lbs lower. When you see a ton of enhanced guys having to chase 180 to hit 10% or lower it really puts the big dogs like heath, cutler and coleman into perspective.
You look so young here! I feel older looking at you lol.Now if I hit 180 and was not like pretty close to contest ready I would be shocked. I am thinking 183-187 to be very lean. This was me natty at 190, and I am pretty sure I am still holding about the same amount of muscle or close even after not being able to train too heavy.
Also look at that dang baby face, I look like I am in my 20's here, and am 36.

Yeah, when I saw it, I was shocked at how young I looked. You look so young here! I feel older looking at you lol.
I will say that from age 36 to right now at 41 I can tell I've aged a little bit. Mostly in the grayness of my beard
this thread almost made me want to go on a cut. but then I remembered that my feet didn't hurt last night walking around the house in my socks and cardio would suck.
I already gotta slather baby oil on my legs just to get into my slacks this morning idk about 220Yeah and if you just fatten up for the winter a bit to 220 you will probably be throwing up 335 on bench and 405 on squats in no time so why would you want to cut !
Is that a cottage cheese crust like I see on all the shorts lately? I have been considering making some since I am doing the low carb life 5 days a week.View attachment 263818
That's a braised beef with peppers and onions over whipped Japanese sweet potatoes. I only used fairlife and fat free Greek yogurt to whip it up. Little drizzle of honey and a pinch of salt. Surprisingly delicious, sweet, been pretty high in protein for a side dish
For some reason I can't remember if I already posted this but earlier today I had this other meal post-workout my first workout. View attachment 263819View attachment 263820
No it's not. It's a trader joes lavish bread, if you're looking for it in a regular store it's usually just called Joseph lavish bread. They're usually made from a combination of oat, flax and something else, it kind of just tastes like a whole grain wrap but fluffier. Is that a cottage cheese crust like I see on all the shorts lately? I did however mix cottage cheese with the marinara sauce and spread it on top, chopped up some zucchini, crushed tomato and chicken and topped it with a 3 cheese combo
Yeah a homemade high protein pizza may be on the menu for this weekend!I lov Naan or Pita bread, so damn good!!! I might have to look into that lavish bread.
@Smont that does sound fire!
The naan bread makes amazing pizzas! But the calories are up there. I literally had the Nan in my hand and then put it back on the shelf for the lavish bread for macro reasonsThat lavish bread is pretty damn tasty. I’ve used naan bread also for homemade pizzas.
Dick! That is all I have to say as someone on trace carbs for 12 days now!My current situation
12–15 lbs isn't some crazy amount from where you're at. Let the mirror and your progress decide.I forgot to include that Todays fasted weight was
189. 8! My midsection is starting to come together the way I was hoping it would look before I went on vacation, I definitely look deflated a little. We were talking at the gym yesterday morning and they asked me why I'm trying to cut so much right now, I told them my goals and I got the dreaded response lol. You already look a lot smaller then you normally do. It was a middle age/older woman, so I know she's trying to give me a compliment but you know how that one goes over lol. When I told them I was trying to get down to 175 to 178 lb they kind of looked at me like I was crazy though. They don't seem to think I'm going to be able to cut that much weight. It always baffles me the limitations in people's minds. I was 190 when we were having the conversation and the goal weight being 175-178 is 12-15 lb, I got lower back and oblique fat and inner thigh fat I can spare. (there's no actual goal weight, I just assume that's where il end up to get to 8ish%)
I still haven't taken pics, you guys know I'm always posting my progress pics but 3 things keep happening lol.
1. I'm not lifting nearly as much and im doing much more cardio and conditioning, after a workout I usually don't mind taking off my shirt snapping a few pictures, but when you're soaking wet drenched in sweat I don't want to take that shirt off unless I have a dry shirt to put on afterwards and a lot of times I'm in a rush and I don't so I've just been throwing on a nasty hooded sweatshirt for the ride home and then hop in the shower. I'm a 2min ride and the men's room only has 2 shower stalls so most the time I don't even bother. So I'm basically just not taking pictures like I normally do.
2. I'm not super excited to take pictures as I'm getting smaller
3. I honestly just keep forgetting, there's nothing slapping me in the face saying hey you should take a picture of this so I just forget to do it. I haven't even been taking pictures of my weight on the scale like I normally do.
Il get some up this week
Yeah it’s not macro friendly for a cut lol!The naan bread makes amazing pizzas! But the calories are up there. I literally had the Nan in my hand and then put it back on the shelf for the lavish bread for macro reasons
Yellow bell peppers, but now you've given me some ideas lol. Teriyaki chicken with mango onions and peppers might be on the menu this weekIs that mango and onion?
I prefer a chocolate roll for those types of desserts but i would absolutely demolish a pumpkin roll too lol. My girlfriend makes amazing pumpkin pies with the little pumpkins we grow in the garden. I'm so happy none of them are ready yet because this would be the hardest cut ever. She already is trying to sabotage my diet and feed me desserts lol. She tried to get me to go to the store and get us cookies last night lol, so I gave her one square of my dark chocolate bar. (I eat a little piece of dark chocolate every day, a 2 littlte1x1 in squares. Think it's 120 cal.) Now that the bar is gone I'm probably going to leave that out though. My current situation
I know what you mean, my menu only opted for basically meat and vegetables yesterday and I did 2 hours of training in the morning and an hour and a half in the evening. Both times drenched in sweat to my drawers lol.Dick! That is all I have to say as someone on trace carbs for 12 days now!![]()
Oh never mind I missed the 12-day part, sorry sir I cannot relate lolDick! That is all I have to say as someone on trace carbs for 12 days now!![]()
At 190 this morning (not sure why weight went up on a low day with double sessions) but I'm pretty lean, I got the V in my waist and veins showing there, 15 more pounds is definitely a lot from where I'm at right now. But definitely doable, I don't really carry much fat on my legs. Going by the mirror this morning, 15 more lbs is going to suck a little lol.12–15 lbs isn't some crazy amount from where you're at.
