If I was an actor, would ya'll say I was juicing?

Yes, because I imagine you put in much more time and effort than an actor would be able to in the same period of time, and I doubt an actor would have your kind of training experience. Awesome job though! Looking swoll brotha!

Good point (thanx btw)... BUT, these guys also surround themselves w/ the best coaches, dietary gurus, and w/o equipment or gym, and are doing these transformations for roles that are gonna net them millions of $. So there's a lot of things that offset the schedules these guys keep.
Little ol' me just plugs away in my garage, on my own, learning by trial & error and what I read on boards like these. I do have a time schedule that is very conducive to eating/trainning properly; I like to think I make the most out of what I'm surrounded with.
I'm by no means implying these Hollywood guys are clean (I aready said -- HGH!!) but sometimes folks just caried away with pointing fingers and knocking the achievements of others, all because they don't have what it takes to mentally put in the effort, don't have the knowledge, or are too busy making excuses for their own lack of progress that someone else who DOES something significant HAS to be cheating somehow. (I believe this is called "a hater?")
That being said, I originally voted YES to the thread's poll, but I now change my vote. Seeing Butler's before pics, he could most certainly have achieved this in a 5-month timeframe naturally.. I don't want to be "a hater" myself!

I can understand how it would look like you were. But then again, you've been training consistantly for 25 years ? And you live the life style of a bodybuilder. So naturally for you, combined with your disciplined lifestyle, yes that is achieveable. (through the course of time).

Hollywood actors are far from this. The only thing they do on a consistant basis is drugs (recreational).

Not interested in your challenge.

How about ReaperX just bust his ass and see if he can put on 20lbs(not ALL LBM) in 20-25 weeks and see what his physique looks like at the end. I don't think he could do it due to his self-defeating attitude.

:toofunny:

You make insulting and condescending remarks towards me then associate me with an ex? A bit passive aggressive are we?

I can put on fat quite easily being an endo. Stuffing my face with carbs+muscle, I could easily put on 15lbs (not all LBM) of course, in 20-25 weeks. I'm not sure about 20-25lbs.

Atleast 2/3 of that weight would be straight up fat/water.

I don't do 'get so fat' bulks anymore.

I'm just clean bulking to 13-14%, then maintain @ 10%.

Those 18%+ days are over for me. Plus I feel like crap when I get that high.

I think 20 lbs of LBM gained in 25 weeks with loss of fat might actually be possible with just natural supplements, but it would have to be an endo, who was in their first few months of training, after having started on dieting down before beginning this. even then, they'd probably have to use quite a bit of natural anabolics, but it might actually be possible. a velocity diet at the beginning for 4 weeks, catch some of that rebound weight gain with appropriate diet to maximize muscle, might be able to average 1 lean lb a week with a combo of x-factor, massfx, and herbal test boosters. still iffy tho, but maybe possible. not likely :)

A young 18 yr old with Ronnie Coleman genetics that was just beginning to workout, maybe.

Not for anyone else.

Editor's note: A statistical outlier needs to be treated as such.

Since there are always statistical outliers in everything imaginable (intellegence, sports, etc), they should not be treated as the 'norm' which a lot of people are doing.

They may have the best resources available to them, but you got 25 years of constant training under your belt which they don't have. (except maybe Stallone).

Markus Ruhel(does he juice? )said that him,and others like him,are lucky if they can still put on 10-15 lbs a yr.I heard a natural saying like 5 lbs.

This dosen't make any sense. A lot of the IFBB pros are beyond their genetic capabilities and the only thing holding their size is the drugs they are taking, thus making it difficult to gain more muscle than they already have.

Why do you often reference IFBB pros ? They are the farthest thing from the topic at hand.

Another good point.. I've been playing w/ weights since I was 12, I'll be 37 here shortly.. this does make an impact.
It's been 25 yrs. of learning & evolving tho, not 25 yrs. of knowing what I was doing, lol..

u come off as a good all around guy, pretty sensible- in my opinion but statements like that r blanket(and not worthy of ur character) ...might as well say that all black people steal or all white chicks do oral...it just isn't true to those measures...I can't say alllllllll because I only know a couple of actors or I should say have talked to a few...not know personally. however, of the few I've met, I can say I believe most were clean, but one now is making me scratch my head somewhat...he's too old to keep up the physique that he has...my opinion only.

Personally, I think the transformation of Gerard Butler would be 'easier' if you were mostly untrained vs. a trained athlete.

Rapid recomp, newb gains, etc. vs being closer to your max.

In lieu of that comment, I had intended it as a joke.

We can see in this picture he's buying M-Drol from the Persians.

hehehehe. Don't worry X, I think he is just talking about the young ones... I am pretty sure the older ones still do. ;)

That's good. They're better anyway from all that practice...

That top pic is not me during keto btw...
But it is me @201, probably 13.5% bf.
Second pic is @193, probably 8% or so bf.
I guess the #'s don't equate out to even close to 20 lb. LBM tho do they?
Here's in the middle of all this, less than 11 weeks after the first one:
:clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2:

Nice!

All natural man (hell, all USP!)
The show I competed in was drug tested, the Natural Ohio in April. Top 3 got piss tested, I placed 3rd. Should dispel any doubts.

You have to exceed a epitest:test ratio of 6:1 (most people are 1:1 maybe 2:1) Test Prop clears totally in 14days, Test Susp. 1 day (give a totally clean ratio ie. 1:1) Or you can simply administer epi-test.

I also believe EQ can give a safe reading if is correctly administering finasteride (Propecia)

Not saying you did anything illegal or calling you a liar. Just pointing out that there are ways around everything......how do you think pro sports survive ;)

LOL to that too..
Well, you're very informative there Distilled, far beyond my level..
My ethics don't include trying to figure out ways to beat tests so I can run around saying I'm clean..
Guess you'll just have to take my word for it.
If not, don't really care. Got more important things to do than lie to people I don't even know, sorry..

No doubt bro!!! I believe you.....you have presented me no reason not to believe you.

Just spitting some ish....work has been very slow today :fool2:

Gratze.
Anal training, even more anal dieting, and great supps. That's the recipe..

Damn, maybe I should rewrite that, sounds kinda funny..
Not a good idea to use "anal" and "supps" in the same sentence, sounds like anal suppositories or something, lol.

I'm away for 2 days and this thread's 5 pages longer & outta control. I won't mention names due to the extreme sensitivity of some people, but something that puzzles me is there are people in this thread who are on the "Butler did not use aas side" - and argue saying that you can acheive nearly any physique naturally with hard work and proper nutrition. And while I mostly agree with this, some of these same people have ran AAS cycles in the past and still have less than great physiques. Anyone see irony in this?

LOL. That jokes already been told.

Yup, good catch. Luckly the votes are public. There's some juicers that voted 'no'. How hypocritical. LOL.

Not to mention, other than snagency, no one will step up to Mullet's offer, yet saying that it is possible.............

Hypocrites x2.

I wouldn't run a cycle unless it would bring me over 200lbs.

At my height/weight, I still have a lot to grow.

Clean bulking of course.

I don't think this thread is out of control, nor are there 'overly sensitive' people here. It's a discussion with multiple points of view.

Not sure who you alluding to regarding the AAS users, nor do I care one way or the other. So I guess what you mean is that gear alone won't give you a '300' body?? Shocking...

Thats what Ruhel said.I seen a guy complaining to denis wolf about only putting on like 15 lbs in a yr and denis said If only I could do that for the next 2-3 yrs,I'd be set.

I refer to pros cause they are clearly diciplined and driven with great genetics and drugs.I feel everyone realises this without it being said, but I guess I'm wrong. So once the pros get to a certain point and have trouble putting on more muscle, don't you think average guys will?I was reiterating snagency's point to another poster.Thats what I did everytime I mentioned a pro.Just giving an example of a diciplined gentically gifted juicer.

And I already gave my opinion on the actors.Maybe they did,but maybe they didn't.

You obviously can't sense sarcasm and are quite out of touch with some ppl online. A '300' type body could be easily obtained without AAS period, with proper dedication. Simple point is thousands of 'regular average joe's' take AAS and still have very unimpressive physiques. Many times people just look for a quicker route to reach their goals so they can 'look better'. In Hollywood where appearance means more these days than ever, and changing from one extreme physique to another is required in short time spans - for one to assume that AAS/HGH usage isn't occurring regularly in Hollywood is just plain nieve.

What he was saying was that there are members here who use gear and their physiques suck. Nothing to add to it, nothing to take away from it.

What kind of supplements do you take? Not only USP but what are your favorite overall supplements? What do you take now? How do you dose your supplements currently? Or around the time those pics were taken? Great condition, I would say that 90% of people would assume you juice, great work.

Appreciated. I get a kick outta hearing that people suspect me of juicing.. I've been around people who have, seen what HGH/AAS can do first hand, and I personally don't consider what I look like to be conducive to these substances. Not to be arrogant, but if were using, look out! I'd look a helluva lot better than I do now..
All USP products, Beverly International, Scivation, and here lately Core Nutritional are my current products of choice. You can check out my dosing schedules & learning curves with some of these products here: Invalid Link Removed

USP and Scivation are the bomb! I love me some AP and Xtend!

Yea bro, if you haven't used AAS and you got in that kinda shape... you would be a monster if you started... I'm not sure if I would even use though, if I looked like that, I guarantee most of my friends would think I was on cycle, and yea that must be a kick in the ass to get asked if you are juicing when you arn't... Good stuff man.
