For the past 10 years leg day was always Mon and Fri then it was Mon Wed and Fri for 5-6 years and now i have changed it for the past 3-4 months to Tuesdays and Fridays which seems to be working well. i will change days of workouts every 8-12 weeks from now on.
also if i do train the same body part every week i usually choose different exercises and change rep / set ranges along with order of exercises to mix things up and add variation.
