Volcom's Nata-Prime-Pro-911-Madrol-iian log

still havent used a universal product yet, not a hater, just spent my money on different things, tell me how it runs volcom

My new, awesome APT Pro Gear, heavy duty wrist wraps just came in and right when I am reconsidering the whole Oly-Lifts thing.

I've been absent from this log bud...
looks good so far... keep up the hard work.

I may be working out with my recovering workout partner. He's fully recovered from his hernia surgery, but still has a left knee, ACL tear, which means, due to recommendations, this may be the perfect opportunity to start a deload on the lower body, such as deads. That's the plan at least. We'll see how it goes.

Appetite is still way up, in spite of being on 2 caps Adrenaline, 1 cap Oxyelite Pro and I'm lethargic as all get out. Well, not until about 12, when my stims from my 5am intake completely wear off.

Animal Flex just showed up. I love how the pills are all pre-packaged in little packets. That makes it very convenient, considering I'm already carrying around loaded GNC vitamin dispensers.

I made some freakish jumps today. I may have pulled something in the process, but holy ish. The strength is still kicking in.

Rack Deads
225 x 10 reps
315 x 10 reps
405 x 10 reps
495 x 10 reps + 5 reps
585 x 5 reps + 3 reps

Everything else I lifted for hypertrophic purposes as oppose to strength, so nothing extraordinary about the numbers.

Hammer Pull Downs Behind The Neck x 5 sets

Hammer Low Rows x 5 sets

Tonight, I'm bumping Natadrol to 8 caps and PRIME to 8 caps.

Im' kind of surprised at how quickly Animal Flex has started to work. I did a session of Oly-Lifts this morning and nothing, my knees don't have the same soreness that I normally get after such a high impact day as this.

This was my first deload workout.

Hang Snatch - using my new AGT wrist wraps, they're perfect.
95lbs x 5 reps

I was on the brink of abandoning Oly-Lifts, as a large element of doing them was because of the relevance it brought to my workout partner who does MMA. Yesterday, I he tells me he's moving to Anaheim, Orange County (That's where Disneyland is), but I live in L.A. County (Hollywood land), so us working out together will be severely diminished, if not abandoned completely. This of course, further took away any personal interest in Oly-Lifting. However, I ran into a buddy and ex workout partner of mine at the gym yesterday and we got to talking about linking up as workout partners and he happens to play football, so Oly-Lifts are now relevant again, which I'm happy about.

As far as the stack is concerned, I moved my dose up to 8 caps Natadrol and 8 caps PRIME yesterday, and I'll see in a day or so if the shift in dosage has any notable effects.

Glad to hear u r might be getting another workout partner. I know they can make all the difference.

Big time. Motivation & priorities shift like crazy when you get married and gym time aka personal time means more, so it's just cooler to link up with a buddy or buddies. As a single, I'm happy just being there to take care of business. I've got my mp3 on, don't make eye contact with me, I don't want to small talk, I'm an island, I've got iron to move. Now, I want less just to be an island while at the gym.

Plus, as a single, there was always that psychological correlation with working out and hot chicks, but when sex becomes a buffet, that vanity driven element is gone and no matter how many speeches you give about working out is about self respect and self improvement, WHICH IT IS, it's just different once you get married. That driving element will be a bigger hole then you'd think.

Thus, I really miss having the friendly competition, motivational factor and responsibility to your workout partner to remain disciplined, which not everyone needs and I don't NEED, but certainly really miss.

I hadn't done incline in awhile, so the first set of 15's burnt me out. I wasn't able to hit my 12 reps sets.

My PRIME has run out, so I'm running 8 caps Natadrol, 4 caps Formadrol until the Natadrol runs out, and at that point, I'll add T911 and Icariin 500. (08/07/)

At this point, I'm pretty sure I no longer have to defend my claim that GSP would anal rape A. Silva.

Yeah. Chael did surprisingly well on his feet, as well, of all things. What a disappointing ending though. So close, so, so effing close.

After Chael kept tagging Silva over & over, I'm thinking GSP would threaten Silva more legitimately then I previously theorized, considering GSP's striking is also superior to Chael's (accuracy, dynamic wise). I don't think Silva could stop GSP's TD's any better then any of GSP's previous arse torn opponents. Which means GSP wins in my opinion.

We also learned, that either JDS will not have the power to knock out Brock (granted Brock beats Cain), or Roy has a stupendously, iron chin & heart. Cause JDS was landing that uppercut at will, Silva vs Maia stylee.

Lastly, safely assuming GSP beats Kos. GSP's next opponent would be Fitch, presumably, which sucks, not because Fitch doesn't deserve it, but GSP is on his second lap of cleaning out his division against the same opposition, and non of his opposition is much of a threat. If Fitch has bringing something new, it'd be a new challenge, but Fitch is still fight/wrestling like Fitch and that equation didn't work the first time against GSP and I don't see it working a second, third, fourth.....

I actually give Kos a better chance then Fitch, in that Kos has a striking power advantage and funny things can happen when you have a power striking advantage.

Olympic HIIT - Hang Snatch
95lbs x 5 reps; 10 secs rest, 95lbs x 5 reps; 10 secs rest...... for 10 bouts of 5 reps every 10 seconds. Not cool.

I wasn't really lifting, lifting today. I just wanted to check my hang snatch but when I was all out of umff to hit max singles, I still had energy, so I just did an HIIT style burn out, again, not cool. Its about as exhausting as running full on sprints HIIT.

Had an effed up night. Something i ate caused me to have some SEVERE stomach pains from 7-11pm. Around 9pm a fever kicked in at 105 degrees and i couldn't sleep (even with sleep aids) until 3:30am'ish. I'm at work now, but my stomach feels like it has internal DOMS from last night's stomach ache or something.

I'm suppose to lift with my friend tonight and I'm really hoping I still can, but we'll see.

Daaaaang man! Any idea what caused that?

No idea. I tried to see how a weight belt would feel around me, since I'm lifting tonight and that's not happening. It must have been so serious case of acid or something for my stomach to be so sore. I've been downing Pepto Bismo tabs and antacid pills today, on top of my gallon jug of water to do some washing out.

Despite my jacked up stomach issue, I was able to lift last night, I just went without a belt.

It was my first lifting session with my new workout partner (the football guy), as my long time friend (the MMA guy) is currently red shirt for an indefinite amount of time.

My stamina is way, way up. I'm on schedule to hit more bodybuilding related routines with my new workout partner for Back & Chest and I'm looking forward to it.

Over doing it

I'm over doing it with the O-lifts. You're really only suppose to do these type of power days, twice a week and I think this is my fourth time I've done it this week. I already feel a drop in performance and I know I just need to lay off for a good few days and let my CNS recovery.

This will be my last O-lifts for a good week, otherwise, I'm going to decline my performance down to snatching the bar. I certainly know better, but man, I just really enjoy them.

Hang Snatch
95lbs x 5 reps
105lbs x 5 reps (this burnt me out by the second set)
105lbs x 3 reps
105lbs x fail (I mean, seriously)

Hang Cleans
135lbs x 5 reps
155lbs x 5 reps
175lbs x 3 reps

Standing Military Press
105lbs x 10 reps, x 8 reps, x 8 reps

Behind The Neck, Jerk Press
95lbs x 5 reps
105lbs x 5 reps
135lbs x 5 reps

The last time I did jerk presses, the 135 felt much, much more difficult. Number, to even launch it into position and number two, to stabilize. I haven't done these in a good one or two months, but today, it felt good. I went without a belt again, because of my stomach issues and my core handled it just fine.

The Form is certainly having a huge effect on my libido, in spite of me still taking 8 caps of natadrol a day. I can only imagine how I'll feel once I'm off the natadrol and I start the T-911 and 1500 mg of Icariin a day.

Prisonyard Workout

This past Saturday I lifted with my good friend, DJ, in his backyard. He has this weather rusted, old & dusty, Jack Lalane weight lifting set. The weight set doesn't have 45's, but 50's and the wheels are huge. We just did some old school shoulders where you had to clean and press the weight just to get it into position, much like when Lou Ferrigno was doing standing military's on Pumping Iron. Everything we did we had to first pick up off the ground. It felt very rustic (and rusty) and prison yardish.

Standing Military Presses
90lbs x 10 reps
105lbs x 10 reps
135lbs x 8 reps
135lbs x 8 reps

Barbell Upright Rows
90lbs x 10 reps
105lbs x 10 reps
135lbs x 6 reps
135lbs x 6 reps

Barbell Overhead Front Raises
Barbell x 10 reps
65lbs x 10 reps
65lbs x 10 reps
65lbs x 10 reps
65lbs x 10 reps

Barbell, Undergrip Front Raises
Barbell x 10 reps x 4 sets

I'd have to say that my strength from my supps is a bit underwhelming, but my recovery is ridiculous. I don't ever seem to get DOMS anymore.

You are moving some weight Volcom. Dig the prison yard workout, sometimes changing it up like that makes it interesting again as opposed to being in the same gym day in and day out.

New Workout Partner, New routine

I've mentioned previously, that I had my friend Zack, the MMA guy, who got put out of commission primarily due to an ACL tear (he also got a hernia), so I went solo awhile and started to lose interest in performance lifts (O-lifts). I got a new workout partner, my good friend Dusty, who's a football guy and yesterday was our first true workout together and we pushed it real good.

Flat Bench
275lbs x 5 reps
275lbs x 5 reps
275lbs x 5 reps
275lbs x 5 reps
275lbs x 5 reps

Incline Hammer Press
360lbs [4 plates; looks beastly] x 5 reps (I'll try to this on camera if possible)
360lbs x 5 reps
360lbs x 5 reps
360lbs x 5 reps
360lbs x 5 reps

Machine Fly
180lbs x 5 reps
180lbs x 5 reps
180lbs x 5 reps
180lbs x 5 reps
180lbs x 5 reps

Decline burn out (trading in & out, no rest time short of the other persons turn to lift).
185lbs x 15 reps
185lbs x 15 reps
185lbs x 15 reps
205lbs x 12 reps
205lbs x 12 reps
205lbs x 12 reps
225lbs x 10 reps
225lbs x 10 reps
225lbs x 10 reps

It's been hard to base strength gains or stamina gains working out alone, but when I have someone of like-strength as a workout partner, it's easier to gauge as there is somewhat of a comparison. Primarily, what I have over my partner is stamina and I'm going to assume recovery. He hasn't hit chest like this in awhile and neither have I for that matter. I've lost a ton of interest in chest development ever since I started O-lifting, because chest strength is irrelevant to O-lifts, but with Dusty, chest is his number one priority, so it'll have to be one of mine as well, thus, the beast lifts are back.

Nice wo bro, soo many declines makes me lightheaded. Very impressive incline numbers

Hang Cleans

This is the first time I hit 135 on the Olympic Snatch at L.A. Fitness. I've hit 135 before with Olympic weights at an Olympic gym, where there is much more room for confidence, because dropping the weight is okay. At L.A. Fitness, whatever you attempt you'd better hit, because dropping their gym weights are no acceptable, especially from an overhead position.

My form evolved with the natural progression of repetition yesterday. Previously, I was performing the snatch and cleans in a more football player fashion, which requires more raw power. I've sort of transitioned more into an "Olympic" lifters style, which is very technique oriented and I was able to put up a bit more weight, which is exciting. Moving up in weight with the snatch is a snail slow process. Adding the slightest amount of weight from one set to another feels like adding quarters from one set to another on the bench, the difference is so significant.

By Friday it'll be a normal, bodybuilding back day that more people can relate to.

I'm starting to feel a bit iffy about my log, considering I've recently become a member of the LG family. An LG promoter, logging basically all LG supps, makes me feel like I'm running a propaganda log, rather then anything objective.... :ntome:

This was my first back workout with my new workout partner, Dusty and it was awesome. It's been awhile since I've hit back this hard. I've really missed having a workout partner. The only down side is that Dusty is about as strong as I am, but only weighs 190lbs, so that made me feel like a fat @$$ at 215lbs and not significantly stronger. But all & all, my back is jacked this morning and it feels good.

My Prime/natadrol has been done for about a week and I'm finishing up with Formadrol, Icariin-50 and T-911. I wished I would have been able to keep with my workout partner during my Nata/Prime run. Being able to contrast him and I has always been a good measure of increased performance, otherwise, it's hard to distinguish supp induced strength boosts vs natural progression of strength.

My last chest workout was Monday, but my workout partner quasi-injured his right shoulder last week, so we did more of a repetition blast then our scheduled 5 rep high intensity lifts.

Bench
205lbs x 15 reps x 3 sets
225lbs x 12 reps x 3 sets
255lbs x 10 reps x 3 sets
275lbs x 8 reps x 3 sets
295lbs x 5 reps x 3 sets

Incline Machine Press (we were dusted at this point)
150lbs x 15 reps
180lbs x 12 reps
210lbs x 10 reps

Neutral Grip, Flat Machine Press
250lbs x 5 reps x 5 sets

It's Wednesday and I'm still good & sore. I was suppose to workout this morning after S&C coach at 5am, before the roosters are up AM work and right before my law firm work at 9am, but my sleep has been feeling really jacked up and I'm in a constant state of fatigue, so I never got out my car this morning while mustering up the energy to workout in the gym parking lot. I'm not feeling this permanent state of lethargy.
