What happened to conservatives believing that private companies have a right to refuse service for any reason? That a Christian baker can refuse to make a cake for a gay wedding? Or should only conservatives be allowed to arbitrarily refuse to provide services? And businesses don't typically fire people for having an opinion, but for sharing their opinions at work on company time using a company platform (like Kaepernick did, and a typical employee never would have been allowed to do). Or if they're a prominent public figure and you say REALLY stupid things, like Gina Carano comparing being a Republican in America to being a Jew in the Holocaust. Now, I'm no PR wizard, but the first rule of the internet is pretty much don't compare yourself to literal Holocaust victims. But if you're talking about people being fired for being a part of the capitol riot, well, a job can fire someone for committing a crime if they want to. But if you're just some random schmuck who is a random worker in a company where you're not at all a widely known public figure, or at least not putting your employer's info and your association with them when making political comments, merely saying things isn't really getting people fired. But I'm sure I'm going to just be accused of "rambling" here, or told that "it's obviously happening. It's so obvious bro" instead of an actual rebuttal.
Because seceding worked so well for the Southern states last time?
