USPlabs asks WHY dO you LIFT? Share your "WHY" story and WIN BIGLY!

Last evening, I'm sitting with the entire family at dinner. I get a text from a friend whom is watching our dog, and apartment while away. A package has arrived from USPLabs. I'm 1600 miles away, my father-in-law is sitting across from me, and all I could think at the moment was, how could I excuse myself, get on a plane, and leave to go home. (LOL)

Partially kidding there.
I haven't gotten to see my brother yet, he was scheduled at the fire station, and it was a downer for me to hear at the last minute, also being stuck with a bunch of other people, I'd rather have avoided during my visit...

Also, the gym I was going to use got back with me about getting in at 3:30a. They said, "Your key fob might work, but if it doesn't it's your gym in Florida that has to fix it."... Ok, well thanks... If I get in, I'm not re-racking sh1t. <- j/k. I'll leave it better than I found it.

Looking forward to seeing my brother, giving him his gift (USPLabs / Photo of it) Gotta ship it back up here when I get home.
He's going to love it.

Just saw that is shipped the other day! Orders went out in two shipments- some of the flavors selected were out of stock- so we had to substitute- but yes- will be there any day!

In case my post about the shirts was misleading, both L and XL fit comfortably on my frame. XL fit comfortably even at 260 and still does now at 220.

Given the material, it fits close in all the right places (arms and chest).

But as I've managed to get leaner, I just like the L more right now because it doesn't cling to any fat in the chest or fit so tight that it looks like a compression shirt.

Agreed. I will also say that first out of the box it was a little snug, but after a couple of minutes (and before the picture was taken) it was perfectly comfortable. "just right" snug in all the right spots. But even "at first" it was no where near like a compression shirt.

Modern BCAA+ and Modern Creatine are awesome supps that I work into my stack whenever my budget allows. I am waiting for my current pre to run out to try out the Modern Pre+. Should be next week sometime, depending on how the holidays affects my workout schedule :).

Got my blue shirt in XL Saturday fits pretty good. My granddaughter is trying to hit a pose! she is like her mom never seen a camera see didn't like. lol
My smart a ss wife was asking how long before I cut off the sleeves.

Looking good! The shirt looks great on you! I love the pose the little one is going for too! My daughter doesn't pose much, but she has expressed an interest when I am working out, but she is still a little young yet to get into lifting (9 yrs old). If she is anything like her mom the heaviest thing she will lift is my credit card LOL. But she will still go for high reps and endurance :D

For turning this into a barbell shirt posing thread, maybe I can talk my wife into posing with her shirt that should be arriving today :). (if it fits her).

unusually high amounts of traffic maybe setting off the load balancer on the server . Cloud flare should be lighting us up any moment .

This is one shirt that I won't cut the sleeves out of.

I do that to any shirts that are regular fit, but these just feel too nice and look too good as is; no reason to remove the sleeves.

Sleeves need to be removed on the ones that are either ridiculously constricting or the good ol' loose ones that go down to your elbows lol

Not touching the sleeves on this one. my wife is just being a smart a ss. the ones I cut up to workout in are the ones I get free and wouldn't were out in public or its got a stain on it. or like you said got one as a gift and it is like way too large and the sleeves hang down to my forearms.
 
our protein promo package arrived today. Lots of Vanilla Protein goodness. The Best By date for the 4lb tubs is 9/17 (just passing that along).

I had not told my wife that I was ordering her a shirt, so when I opened the box, pulled the shirt out and handed it to her, her eyes lit up. Then when I told her it was a ladies cut shirt she broke out into a full on smile :). She put it into the laundry room (she likes to wash clothes before she wears them) and then told me that I needed to order our daughter one next LOL (they both wear almost the same size shirt, ladies S/XS). So once it is washed and we can see how well it fits my little one, I will be ordering a second one :D.

of the protein or the shirt? Shirt went straight into the laundry (she didn't try it on yet), protein went into the cupboard :). I didn't get any other swag, only the shaker bottle (that went straight into the dish washer) :). Once I can get her to try it on I will get a pic for sizing for any others that want to order a shirt for their wife (or themselves, for our fellow female lifters).

Let her wash it. My wife is the same way afraid she is going to get some kind of a chemical on her.

no doubt. But I do have a ton of Modern Protein. (5) 2lb tubs and (3) 4lb tubs. My last set of bloodwork showed that I was taking in too much protein (sacrilege, I know), so I am backing off of my protein powder intake (a little bit). But should not be a problem to wrap up these tubs well in advance of their Best By (not expiration) dates.

I showed my wife some of the pictures of the recipes/food made with your protein powder and she is interested in trying some of the cookies (which will be awesome!). If that happens then I can see our household chewing through a lot more of your protein powder :).

I have several shirts like that. They are either for working out, or working out in the yard (doing yard work) in :).

Will do man. Thank you. Took me forever to pop open the Modern Protein caramel cookie stix!! I knew once I started on any of this stash, that meant I had a little less. Im already sad.
