Ditto. Now I truly can't wait.. I should have avoided this thread until after I got my delivery LOL. I went for the 4 lb tubs, that just seemed like a better deal.. and you can never have too much USP Labs Vanilla Modern Protein... I really believe that :).

The Vanilla is my go-to flavor/protein these days. In addition to the awesome flavor, I love the blend of fast and slow protein sources. I used to make my own blend from bulk powders, and while I sometimes do add bulk powders to it from time to time (either hydro or casein, depending on time of day and goal), the Modern Protein takes a lot of the work out of it for me and is perfect on its own for 90% of shakes. Something I have not been able to say about any other protein powder I have tried!

Looks like a great profile. I have been using something called syn6 don't know if i can spell it out. My daughter loves the flavors. I chug my protein so taste is just a plus. I come from the old days when you use to chug chunks and held your nose while drinking it. Protein mixes have come along way over the years. Thank God!

Got my swag box from this thread promo. Wearing my shirt right now in fact LOL. Can't wait until my current Pre is used up so that I can start this new Modern Pre. I like the ingredients profile and am excited to give it a try. I also picked up Modern BCAA, which also includes Sustamine (L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine), which I like for its hydration benefits. So many new things to try. But I am going to spread them out to be able to evaluate their benefits individually. Still exciting to have so much good stuff to choose from!


With everything I have purchased I need to plan out which protein tubs I use first. I noticed that the Vanilla (2lb) has a Best By date on 7/2017, and the Caramel Cookie Stix (2lb) has one of 7/2018. I have 5 of the 2lb tubs on hand and 3 of the 4lb tubs on the way (yea, I like Modern Protein just that much... :) )

How far past the Best By date is it prudent to still use the protein? Does the flavor drop off? or is it the efficacy of the protein?

Somehow glazed over this when I was reading on mobile --

The protein is solid. Mixes up very well and great flavor.

I love tasty proteins and there are a lot of awesome flavors out there right now, so I'm not huge on plain vanilla or chocolate, but USP's vanilla is hands down the best I've had. I'm still normally picking other flavors over it because the fat kid inside me wants dessert lol, but it really is great (and again, the consistency and mixability is top notch).


I'm gonna have to start buying all the shirts again to collect size L ;) lol

I have them all in XL (OG style), and then also L for the blue and then the faded print of the new logo. Still hanging right around 220, but the L's are looking a little nicer than the XL's at the moment, haha.

Crap. I got the XL, Larges are usually too tight. You are bigger than me. I consume 2-4 protein drinks a day. My daughter takes her protein more regularly if she likes the taste.

Everyone is different, but I am in a large right now and it is pretty tight (but not uncomfortably so), and I am no where near as big as you. But I also do not tend to wear shirts so tight that you can see body details like they are painted on :). When I was younger I did, but as I get older I tend to be more "subdued" when going out. I think it is all going to be a matter of what your style and expectations are. You may be really happy with an XL, or wish you had a L. hard to say. Either way it is a good opportunity to start collecting. I have a total of 4 now, with another on the way. They are incredibly soft and comfortable. My wife likes sleeping in mine because they are so comfortable (more or less a tent on her, but super soft).

Yea, Me and the wife both are liking the color too. I was not given a choice of color on this one, so it was a "surprise", but it turned out great. I am not sure I would have chosen this color off of the web site, so I am super glad they selected it for me!

I guess my Military side still loves the OD Green. I have a bunch of T shorts in that color. So typically when Im in public, they see my 5'10", 221lb bald tattooed @ss in an OD Green shirt, jeans, square toe cowboy boots and a .40 on my hip. Im heavily avoided for some reason lol

dang, I love me some good GDA (or more specifically a selective GDA). Bummed that I missed that. Any site where I can get some info on it? (Google is my next stop). I am curious about the ingredients. Agmatine is my favorite selective GDA. :)

EDIT: I found the product page on the USP Labs site, but not by browsing, only by getting a direct link from Google.
 
All I'm saying is Carmel cookie stick is the bomb!! Hands down best tasting protein I've had!
 
In case my post about the shirts was misleading, both L and XL fit comfortably on my frame. XL fit comfortably even at 260 and still does now at 220.

Given the material, it fits close in all the right places (arms and chest).

But as I've managed to get leaner, I just like the L more right now because it doesn't cling to any fat in the chest or fit so tight that it looks like a compression shirt.
 
And I generally wear XL in shirts, so I would just suggest ordering your normal size -- no need to worry about them running bigger or smaller.
 
The caramel cookie stix protein reminds me oF a caramel macchiato. Very good tasting protein!
