USP labs Jacked

I ordered 2 (JACKED) they arrived Saturday -- I see that the flavor is Lemon-Lime -- are there any other flavors (did I miss it) I won't judge until I taste it but I usually don't like lemon-lime....

Just one flavour, lemon-lime.

...
I got a free sample of PowerFull in the box (THANKS)

QUESTION -- (take 3 caps before workout - 2 caps before bed) -- does that mean 2 caps 1hr after breakfast - 3 caps before workout - 2 caps before bed. 2 + 3 + 2...???

On training days, take 2 - 3 capsules between 15 minutes and 30 minutes before your workout, about one hour after a meal. On non-workout days, you can take 1 - 2 capsules about one hour post-breakfast. Take another 1 - 2 capsules pre-bed on an empty stomach, both on workout and non-workout days.

Holy Crap! Just got my JACKED today. Thanks again Jacob, free shipping on 3 tubs was a steal now that I see it costed you $9.12 to send it to me!!

Tried Jacked yesterday. I went with 2.5 scoops. The energy and focus was excellent, but for me to use it alone i'd have to add to it so it includes everything I feel it lacks as a well rounded pre-workout drink. I drank it at 5:30 and had problems sleeping all night long. Its good for energy and focus, but for $25 retail, I won't be buying it again. I feel the BA, CM, and AAKG are all underdosed. I'll stick with my NO-Shotgun. I will probably be selling my Jacked. Again, for strictly energy, its wonderful, but I like more creatine, ba, aakg, bcaa, whey hydrolysate, etc.. preworkout. I would probably just take R4W or RPM over this.

OOOH nice! Personally I only want energy from my pre-wo. I can add my own arginine for extra but besides that energy to push more wieght and it sounds like thats what it gave you.

just took 2 scoops before a leg workout and WOW. I usually use Ragnarok and this stuff blows it away.

If all you want is energy, then why pay extra for underdosed creatine, beta alanine, and AAKG?? To me it should just be the energy complex and ditch the rest. For 24.99 retail, you can get just the energy for a lot cheaper...

Could you please elaborate on how it blew it away? I can only assume your speaking from a stim standpoint.

Yeah... I agree Joebo. NO pump, not even energy for me. Superpump is 5 bucks more 40 servings and everything you need plus the new version doesnt cause dumps. which is a plus

The BA is not underdosed. There is 2.5 grams and 3 grams of arginine with 3 scoops.

That being said I DID NOT design Jacked to be a PUMP product but as a performance product by Augumenting the CNS-ATP-Carnosine system, and Arginine was added to cause vasolidation in order to combat the caffiene vasocontriction and allow greater flood flow which in turn will help deliver more oxygen to the muscles, lungs and Brain.

There is no Citrulline Malate in USPlabs Jacked.

Most people are not taking three scoops. Even you said 2 scoop will be the spot for most people which means you are getting under 2g of BA and only 2g of arginine and very little CM. For energy it seems like a great product, although for me, it was a little to much of a speedy drugged up feeling and lasted way to long for night time workouts. I think its worth 14.99, but for $25, I don't think many will be repeat customers considering Primal NO2 or Vasocharge can be bought for 17.99 at any time and to me a more well rounded product for the money.

This is just my opinion, so take it what its worth. I'm prepared to be hung now by all the USP Fanboys

Nope! Your commentary is appreciated, Joebo! To each his own.

Certainly entitled to your opinion.

I just think its great that USP is giving its customers a crack at it for 14.99... Just got mine today - if I decide to kill my off day, I'll let you know what I think.

"With that said, I like having a ton of energy, strength, stamina & endurance for my workouts...I mean, who doesn't?"(Invalid Link Removed)

In the above statement from the Jacked writeup, the emphasis is clearly on energy, strength and endurance, which agrees with the statement

"I DID NOT design Jacked to be a PUMP product but as a performance product" (http://anabolicminds.com/forum/supplements/110427-usp-labs-jacked-7.html)

Statements like

"it quickly became known as "Jacked" because it made everyone lift more weight, pump out more reps and have crazy, lasting energy along with sick, muscle-engorging pumps..."

"The amount of energy and focus are perfect, my pumps and vascularity were out of control but most importantly; i felt great all workout. "

were used to note that pumps are still good, but secondary to energy/endurance. As a result, some readers got the impression that Jacked was also a pump preWO supp with some killer energy, and that it was just better.

Maybe USP's innovation suggests that a more effective way to become "jacked," or build muscle, is from "higher performance" rather than an instant NO pump, so a sufficient amount of arginine was added to counteract the constrictive effects of the caffeine, and pumps are only secondary, but still evident.

Thanks.. Nothing against USP. I actually bought 3 tubs basically blind, just cause. Its a potent energy complex, but i think pricing is going to be off on the product. I think USP puts out some good products, but pricing is what usually turns me off from your products. Maybe thats just what happens when you make it into GNCs. I'd love to give Prime another run but for $60 shipped its just unreasonable in my mind.

Fair enough. Keep in mind though, the product is performance-based and not pump-based; it is competitively priced for other products of its nature [that being performance > pump]. If one was looking for a Pre-WO complex in respects, they may be letdown. However, that is not its main purpose!

Could you please tell me the other products of this nature it is competively priced against?

i think ima go for 2 scoops jacked + 4 scoops glycergrow should provide a energy, power, pump-filled workout.

jacked should def be stacked wit something like test booster, insulin inducer, gms etc, for additional pumps...thats with 2 scoops jacked that is

I get pumps on a 20 ounce bottle of diet mountain dew and a protein bar... The research linking NOX supplements and muscle development is somewhat inconclusive.

I'll always opt for an energy and endurance blend over NOX...

RPM is $29.95. Great energy and aggression but I never personally experienced vasodilation of any kind.

100, 60mg caps of Geranium are $19.99, only 6 dollars less than estimated retail and only one of the ingredients found in Jacked.

AMP2 is $28.95.

and so on.

I agree it is very inconclusive. But my person opinion is that if im going to use a preworkout its to feel the extreme energy, vascularity, and "pump". not for just something coffee will give most people.

2/3s of the people using NOXplode are too fat to see their veins anyway.

exactly. who cares about a supplement giving u a pump. if ur diet is down u should get one anyway, and if not slam down some waximaize before u go in the gym

I had pretty sick pumps off of two scoops. I have used NO-Xplode, Shock Therapy, Superpump, RPM, NO-Shotgun, and a few others so I know how it compares to the competition.

Here is some info that I dug up on the schizandrol compound. Thought you might find it useful, even though the info in the link is suited to fit a five year old's reading capacity. Still pretty interesting.

I am amidst a cycle of diesel test, and just got my jacked this morning. I will update TM to see whats up.

Figured I'd chime in...

I received my Jacked this morning (3 tubs) and took one, i repeat ONE scoop. I respond fairly strongly to stimulants, and my experience with Jacked was no exception. I would rate the energy boost as an 8/10 (keep in mind that I only took a single scoop) and the pumps as a 7/10. While the pump was not as strong as say, NO Shotgun or Shock Therapy (my personal favs) it was still considerable. I have to note that I am a HD trainer, and because I use very low volume I normally do not notice intense pumps. However, after two warm-up sets of flat bench, I noticed a decent pump. But I don't really care about that. As I said, I'm a Mentzer fan, and I found that Jacked allowed me to dig deep and really grind out some insanely tough sets with outrageous intensity.
Oh and the taste was pretty good. As Jacob said, it's like an extra-sweet Sierra Mist.

I thought I'd add... It's finals week for me, and I am going to dose a scoop or two before my poli sci finals (which involve writing a buhjillion essays) and see whether or not Jacked gives me a noticeable boost to my creative processes...

On that note, thank you very much USP. I've dabbled in my fair share of pre w/o stims and whatnot, and I think this is, for the PRICE, the best. Cost aside, it is definitely still a great product.

Yah being stim sensitive myself I was planning on starting with one scoop. Did you have any problems with sleep ? What time did you take it ?

from my experience, i took 2 scoops at ~5:20pm last night and was in bed like a baby at 10pm

I might react different though, I remember taking a 1 pill of the old ephedra products in the morning and still could not sleep that night.

Anybody still waiting for theirs?!? I got an email saying it was shipped on the 3rd, but can't track it. Hoping it comes in today.

Actually, yes I did have some problems sleeping. In fact, that was probably the most trouble I have ever had sleeping on a low-dosed stimulant. Because I am aware of my sensitivity, I normally take smaller-than-normal servings. With NO-Shotgun I took a month working my way up to taking a full scoop. I took my one scoop of Jacked at 3pm, and I didn't feel normal tiredness until about 3am, and I fell asleep around 4am... I usually pass out around 12 or 1, so that was definitely out of the ordinary. However, I have to add that I was writing a paper until 2 or so, and that mental activity may have exacerbated the effects.

On the plus side, I annihilated that paper, as I did with the final I took after dosing 1 1/2 scoops.

I didn't add this to my review, though, on reconsideration, I certainly should have... The pump I experienced was most certainly enhanced by the fact that I take 5g CM per day, which always has the effect of giving me enhanced pumps, so the decent pump I received was probably partly due to that. If you're looking for a pumper, you should probably look elsewhere, but as a stim I love this stuff.

Gratzi to Jacob and USP for allowing me to absolutely demolish a paper and a final. Jacked may well replace ritalin for me...

jk. about the ritalin, that is. nothing can replace ritalin. :D

The euphoria this product causes is probably it most strongest aspect of it.Music honestly sounded clearer and better.
The strength and energy aspect weren't as great, there are other pre-workout drinks that are much better in this aspect.

i only have taken 2 scoops once for pre-workout, so this is not a final review or anything, but just my first experience,so it could change with different dosing and time.

I might try 1 scoop vasocharge 1 scoop Jacked and 1 scoop Nos Ether which would probally be crazy, in a good way i mean.

I just got back from my Chest workout tonight - my first time using JACKED (2 scoops). I took the dose on an empty stomach with 2 fish caps and 1 sesamin cap. I'll just throw down a few bullets here.

  • Taste - True to form... Taste's like a Sprite. That said, you're not going to completely mistake it for a soda - as you still have a bit of an aftertaste - but not an overwhelming overtaste that doesn't go away like a few other products I can think of.
  • Pump - From reading others' reactions, my expectations of a pump were pretty low. Fortunately, the product blew my low expectations out of the water. I had a retarded pump going after my first 2 exercises, and my chest felt extremely hard and full. I'd have to say this thumps the pumps  I had from SuperPump250.
  • Unfortunate Side - Both RPM (3 caps) and JACKED gave me some uncomfortable throbbing pains at the left rear base of my skull during moments of extreme exertion (even with nice smooth deep breaths)... Its NOT caffiene, but it must be something else that the two have in common. The pains are usually only present for the first 2 to 3 exercises, then the pain tapers off with subsequent exercises. These are the only 2 PreWO supplements I have experienced this with.
  • Energy - Awesome. Blew through my chest workout with some nice smooth energy. Solid 2 7 minute miles after the lifting session, and about 10 minutes of incline walking.
  • Therm - Solid therm effect as well. More sweat than normal during both the lift - and the follow up cardio.
I loved the product... though the headaches are a pain in the ass... Perhaps waiting longer after the dose before hitting the weights would help - or perhaps a lower dose is warranted for me at first.

contest going on for reviews...

http://anabolicminds.com/forum/company-promotions/111088-usplabs-jacked-eye.html

Posted this on the "Eye of the Tiger" contest thread but thought I'd post it here as well...

I recieved my shipment of jacked yesterday. I woke up this morning and had my morning shake (1 scoop whey isolate, 100g oats and 1.5 cup egg whites) and took 2 scoops of jacked an hour later... WOW

The Taste was good (better than most other preworkout formulas on the market) and it mixed surprisingly well. I dont ever get the BA tingles that everyone reports and I didnt with this one either, but that is OK. Within about ten minutes the energy was kicking in and I was in the gym about 30 minutes after dosing, with Jacked in full effect for a killer back work out (I killed it on deadlifts). The stimulatory effects were profound but not overwhelming. It was a slight euphoric and focused energy. I did not feel any more pump than usual but the ability to work the muscle and focus on the peak contraction was way, way, way better than usual. I always get a good pump while training so the pump was not my motivation for getting Jacked. The strength and endurance aspect and the ability to work through the burn were superb. I flew through an intense workout and did 30 minutes of intense cardio folloing my workout and was energized for hours after leaving the gym.

What I really enjoyed were the respiratory effects. It's hard to explain but I never felt winded and my lungs were clear. With other pre-workout formulas, I find myself gasping for air at times and panting like a dog after rough sets of deadlifts or rows and especially cardio. I know that methylhexamine is a bronchodialator which probably aided in the respiratory benefits but so is ephedrine but ephedrine doesnt give me the same clear lung feeling so there must be some synergism with multiple ingredients in Jacked that promoted this kind of endurance.

Another benefit was no bloating  (unlike the scores of other products of its ilk on the market)

Overall, I give this product a 10/10. It did exactly what I wanted it to do and I definately will be using it in the future (after my 3 jugs run out!!!) I am using it on a cut and it will be interesting to see how Jacked helps with my progress

Way to go USP!!!

only honest positive reviews? or can honest not so positive reviews win as well?

Your review will probably be deleted like the ones from Prime on NP's website. I think USP has finally jumped on the Muscletech marketing train. I really don't understand the fanboy following either. I really have not gotten good results with any of their products. Pslin, maybe a little, but nothing i'd buy. The rest of the line is overpriced imho. Primaforce cissus in my mind spanks supercissus. To each is their own, but it bugs me that you can never post anything negative about USP without getting jumped on in some form or another or posts being deleted. I for one will not be purchasing any more of their products.

I wanted to add, I did get some decent results from Prime, however, at $55, it's just not worth the money.

Wow that is a rant out of left field. lol

Just PM administration and ask them if Company Reps from other companies registered under a psuedo names to attack us before. Inform yourself before you speak is all I ask...Please ask.

The only reason PrimaForce moves Cissus is because they copied the success of USPLabs SuperCissus.

USPLabs always welcomes legitimate reviews. A legitimate review is one written by someone that actually used the product for long enough to justify a fair review. A legitimate review can be positive or negative. There is no censorship. That NutraPLanet case you alluded to involved negative reviews by individuals that had not used the product and turned out to be affiliated to competition. I think it was only fair to remove them. There is no collaboration between USPLabs and NutraPlanet nor between USPLabs and AnabolicMinds to stifle legitimate negative reviews of USPLabs products. In terms of your MuscleTech marketing train insinuation, JACKED (the product in question), judging from the reviews it has produced, did not appear to have promised less than it delivered. Like you said, "to each his own". No product will elicit the same result in every user, even at identical doses. It is unfortunate that you have decided not to buy any USPLabs products anymore. Yet, I would like to thank you for supporting USPLabs via purchases of P-Slin, SUperCissus, and JACKED.

Feel free to continue to express your legitimate opinion of USPLabs' products. If you ever decide change your mind about USPLabs' products, we will be glad to welcome you aboard again! :)

Did I mention USPlabs Jacked will cost 19.99 at NutraPlanet.

Is that over priced? We price accordinly to raw material cost on every product, and we sacrificed profit on USPlabs Jacked to thank our consumer.

At 29.99 it would be a deal and at $34.99 it would move becuase the product is best in its category or very close to the top spot interms of product perfromance and it even showcases 2 new extracts...go figure....

Did I mention USPlabs Jacked will cost 19.99 at NutraPlanet....
It is certainly a give-away at that price. I personally did not expect it will sell for less than $29.99 at NutraPlanet.
