UFC Fantasy Picks League

I just mean when he was doing bag work, pads, etc. It looked half-a$$ed. It was that he was so technically proficient that he made it look effortless, but that he simply wasn't hitting it hard or moving very fast. I understand the need to slow things down and work on technique, but I just figured he'd be showing his best for the camera.

So if someone misses a show.. lets say they forgot their password.. what happens? They just eat it? How about they get the low score for some type of handicap. Or even the lowest by 5 points or something.

I am pretty tired of hearing about Brock. I hope he gets submitted quickly. Probably not, but damn it, I hope. I'm pissed off that I'm even talking about him.

That seems reasonable, 5 points from the lowest score. I'll be pissed if you win with a ridiculous come from behind victory:aargh:

Beowulf and/or Rodja needs to step in with a weighty and serious MMA analysis to save this thread. This biatch is only going to keep going downhill until Saturday.

Gonna put this to vote by the people involved.

1 Vote for. 1 vote against.

I personally think you should just eat it.

What's the difference? You can still participate in every event and you'll still get repped if you win, not that you care about that. You're just not likely to win the prize at the end, which wasn't available before anyways. You can still catch up anyways, didn't you participate in the first event?

Sorry SWG, I don't understand this post.

Due to the substitution, some picks need to be adjusted, mine did not. I missed the first round of this picks contest and think its noones fault but my own. sometimes i type quickly to save time and actually take more in the long run, lol.

Here's where Vanavich pulls ahead in the contest.

What happened to "I gotta believe in Minotauro":nono:

Get it together, Norris. The picks are due by 5 pm, it's stated 8 times in this thread. Quit destroying people on politics and get your damn picks in!

edit: the picks are due by 5 pm because TheMouth gets the results 3 hours before the fights actually happen.

Why are they due before the fight starts? I understand there are prelims but those are an hour off. I'm out of the contest anyways.

They close when I say they close so I can gather the picks put them into word and prepare for my viewing party. Thus making it impossible for people to go back and change their picks, and allow me to have a bit of a social life in the process.

Noguiera is unreal. He doesn't have too many fights left IMO, better enjoy his next few fights.

Lesnar is still clueless, but he definitely has potential. I didn't think his punches would be that horrible looking, still powerful though. Lesnar should lose a little mass and just become a smidge quicker, work nonstop on sub defense, and watch out.

Boetsch is a wrecking machine. I'd like to see him fight Jardine. Lytle looked amazing. Overall a pretty decent night, only because of the ending.

I definitely agree about Nog. He looked much better against Barnett. I think his career is definitely in its twilight. I certainly hope he retires after a couple more, rather than risking major long term damage.

Overall, the card was solid. Boetsch was definitely a beast. I'd like to see more of him. Lytle was definitely a wrecking machine. The Marquardt/Horn fight was surprisingly good. I didn't expect much from them, but there were some great shots, attempts, and transitions. That Almeida backflip guillotine was ridiculously cool.

The Griffin fight was slightly disappointing, simply b/c we've come to expect so much from him. Is Tibau really that good with takedowns, or is it just b/c Griffin was trying to take his head off that he was open to those TD's?
