I realize picking vs. Martin might be a terrible idea, but I'm just not impressed.
I didn't see the fight, but based on the PBP, all I can say is :goodpost:

Martin was severely overhyped. He has potential, but he is basically limited to the 1-2.

As far as the Griffin fight goes, I think it was a comibination of what you listed. He was swinging for the hills and Tibau's takedowns are pretty good, mainly because he's so big. He looked huge next to Griffin, much taller, at least as thick, and with less BF. He was clearly stronger than Griffin, but that was about all he had on Griffin.

Looks like my boy Martin failed again. I'm officially releasing whatever small hold I had left on his sack, done!

It might just be me, but I'm pretty sure Norris took that as: Lesnar is completely overpowering, a few minor adjustments and Fedor is done.
Not quite but its the dude's 2nd fight. He may have missed his chance by taking the gobs of guaranteed money from the WWE out of college but he is still only 30. Give him 3-4 years of fights and training JJ and he will crush Fedor.

Dude, TUF Championship > Pride GP Champioship. Cro Cop... Gonzaga... Cro Cop... Conga... Diaz..> Gomi... TUF Scrub > Nakaumura... Pride = over rated roid fest.

Mir won the only way he could. I give him credit but WTF is Mir gonna do to a guy not in his 2nd fight. Nothing. Mir is a turd. Mir is luck Brock was new enough to make a stupid mistake.

And Obama will lose painfully. His inexperience, far left policies and cut and run foreign policy will not go well no matter how much shallow rhetoric he spits out.

Spoiler below:

Above everything else in this card man, I'm so glad CNorris died a little inside.
If it was his 16th fight and he was #1 in the world and lost to a TUF fighter I might be pissed.

Brock will be back. I hope this pisses him off so he quits lifting so much and learns basic JJ defense.

I'm not a huge fan of Obama, I just know how much you despise him. Hence the Obama comment.

There there, don't be a poor sport.

He could be good in a few, but he'll never be able to beat Fedor. Fedor's fight smarts and movement will always be too much for a big galoop like Brock. He does have potential though, anyone that thinks otherwise is clueless.

Brock should fight Kongo/Herring. He beats both of them, IMO, but Herring would have a much better chance.

Brock can be good, Militech has said as much, but he needs a lot of seasoning and sub defense. By that point maybe Fedor will get sick of fighting Hong man Choi and move on to some real competition

I think a fight between those two is pretty unrealistic at this point, IMO. By the time Brock develops enough of a sub-defense to compete, Fedor might be out of it.

True. Fedor has taken no damage and could easily fight until he's 40. By the time he's in his late 30's someone might even beat him. Alright I'll chill with the Fedor worship.

Noguiera- "Fedor, on his side, will fight you to the death"

It was less Fedor nuthuggery by me, and more anti-Brock nuthuggery. The guy has had two fights in MMA, and one against a decent opponent which he lost. We don't need to be talking about him challenging for titles until he WINS a fight, IMO. (and by win I mean in the UFC)

True. They should give him someone that suits his style, someone without good subs, maybe Kongo or Hardonk. If he wins that fight give him Herring or Vera?

Yeah, I could roll with that I suppose. I just despised all the promos talking about how we were dealing with the future champ though. I said from jump street this was too much to progress his career, too early.

Noguiera is unreal. He doesn't have too many fights left IMO, better enjoy his next few fights.

Lesnar is still clueless, but he definitely has potential. I didn't think his punches would be that horrible looking, still powerful though. Lesnar should lose a little mass and just become a smidge quicker, work nonstop on sub defense, and watch out.

Boetsch is a wrecking machine. I'd like to see him fight Jardine. Lytle looked amazing. Overall a pretty decent night, only because of the ending.

Lesnar definitely has potential. There are not many great BJJ practitioners at HW, and his takedowns and GNP are so monstrous that I think he'll smoke the strikers.

I want to see Lesnar vs. Sylvia right now. I think Brock takes it.

At this point I think it would be close. With a year at a good camp, Brock would run through Sylvia.

But not HMC. He's legit.
HMC is legit, just like Sylvia is, stylistically only. HMC seemingly has a good enough td defense to destroy all the striking UFC HW's. Good chance that Brock would destroy him though. Did you do any strongman today?

Don't let the Emelianenko stoicism fool you, I'd sell out my own brother for a $1.

Now I believe, but seriously Nog's pretty much done soon. As Beo said somewhere he's looked much better in the past and I wonder how much longer his chin can hang tough. I'm actually surprised that he gets medical clearance if his vision issues are as they are rumored to be.

Thanks for the update Mouth.

I kind of figured you had the integrity of a used car salesman.

Yeah, he didn't look that great, but like I said the dude is unreal. When he got that takedown in the first round, I knew that he would get another and end the fight quickly when he did. I was sh*tting my pants during the first round though. I want Nog/Couture, and I got Nog winning. Couture is way overhyped, get him out of your av, he doesn't belong next to the great one.

Hating on Captain America :nono: Your Fedor love has gone too far. Fedor = Frank Shammy Jr., walking away at the height of his greatness.

Sylvia actually put together some nice combos like that one that floored Nog. He was trying as hard as he could to get people to like him, thanking the troops, honoring Nog, coming out with US flag.....

Yeah, I'm starting to feel kind of bad for Sylvia, but then I just remember all the obnoxious sh*t he's done. He beats Gan Mcgee and says "Bring on Fedor", shut up sh*t in the pants. Then he pissed off Hughes by not training injured, what a d*ck:twisted: He really is trying though, and I gained some respect for him last night. Glad to see his goofiness exposed with that sub though. Chuck>Capt America, as a person, re-watch season 1 of TUF.
