My poor wife has been suffering with killer TMJ pain for a couple years now, and nobody seems to be able to do anything about it. Constant chronic pain is slowly driving her bonkers, and I'm constantly trying to find things to help her with it, found Cissus and am thinking it's worth a shot.
First question... the doc believes the pain has caused depression and just put her on an SSRI, Paxil (don't get me started). Any problems with running Cissus while she's on Paxil? From my reading, it didn't seem to mess with any neurotransmitter stuff, but I thought I'd check to be sure.
Second, her lipid profile just came back whacked (which is odd, she eats clean and lifts, with a little bit o' cardio in there too) and we're on a quest now to get her cholesterol down. Thought I'd double check... Cissus doesn't have any effect on lipids either way does it?
Ooops, I guess a third question! The 14 year old comes home from football practice beat to a pulp and I hate the way he pops the ibuprofins like tic-tacs, but I'm assuming the androgenic properties of Cissus means I've got to keep it away from him, right?
Thanks in advance!
