Turff49 Quest for Success

One mans blah is another mans... never mind.

Strong one Brian.

You got it done though. Bump those calories up today you have a lot of recovering to do. That was hard work yesterday, no wonder you weren't feeling it today. Heck I was so tired yesterday I passed out on the couch as soon as I sat down. Was going to go lift and sat down for a second, woke up at 5:30ish on the couch with my daughter. Unfortunately too late to go to the gym but I feel rested now.

Glad you were able to wake up and kick some ass!

Only a beast like you would be able to do all of that after cutting limbs/not eating enough yesterday!!

More tree cutting last night. 2 more truck loads...should've done this years ago when my stepson was home. Stuck doing it by myself! Good workout though lol!

Absolutely a workout cutting down trees! On top a great lifting session! Very nice!

Thanks guys. My wife keeps reminding me I'm no spring chicken. Hard for me to acknowledge hard work takes its toll on me now...
Sure felt it this morning when I woke up...lol

Today is a beautiful day. I don't openly show my religious side very often but today is a day to celebrate.

Old age is not for the weak! I say we keep listening to our inner fire and keep killing it as best we can. "Work smart and not heavy" is now our mantra! Happy Easter brother!

Not sure what I was after really. Typically it's an arm day but I want to start hitting chest twice a week. Heavy chest on Sunday's and lighter on Tuesdays with more focus on flys ant triceps. I'll hit biceps again on Friday with Back. May throw some legs in on Wednesday with Shoulders and then heavy legs on Saturday.

I like hitting chest twice a week, too, when I'm recovering quick enough.

Nice looking workouts, and sounds like a great plan!

That chest/arms workout was great! Pausing at the bottom of those dips is brutal!

It's been so long since I really mixed things up so I thought it was time to stimulate some new growth.
Today was Shoulders and legs. Heavy on shoulders and just moderate on legs.

That's a great leg workout! Are you crawling around the house now?

Thanks guys.
As for crawling around: had to go in to work for the environmental company I work part time for. Went in at 0730 and just got home at 7pm. Been on my feet all day abandoning monitoring wells. Labor intensive. I'm one tired pup right now. I'm one of those managers that has to have his hands(and muscles) in everything. Not sure if I will make the gym in the morning. The good news is I earned protein pancakes for dinner!!

Power personified right there... 600 on hack wow

I'm thinking of bumping it up another 90 in a few weeks on both hack and leg press. My knees are starting to feel these heavy sets with reps though...

No ****ing joke!!

You could always slap a band on there.

Crazy strong work Brian! Are you going to get any time to go to the beach this summer or will you be working like crazy all summer too?

Crazy strong work Brian! Are you going to get any time to go to the beach this summer or will you be working like crazy all summer too?

Good question...
I think I'm averaging about 65-70hrs a week right now and I'm not seeing any light in the tunnel. At least the money helps. Lots of projects around the house that I kept putting off due to funds are now getting taken care of.
And I live less than a mile to the beach...
