Steve and I had went over my plan and he advised using the proviron since I was going to use CLEN and Winny. He thought it was solid.

Friday BACK day

First, hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving. Mine has been quiet which is great. I think I ate 2lbs of turkey yesterday!!
Now back to normalcy.
On a bad note, I think my back pumps was more than that. I either pulled something or have a slight tear. I'll work through it...good thing is this is lite week!

One arm BB rows
45 x 10
70 x 10 x 5 sets
My right lower lat is where I'm feeling the pain. Staying light didn't aggravate it with this motion

Meadows Rows

The last couple sets on these I could really tell it was aggravating it.
Went to do lay pull downs with 90 to warmup and my right lay said no, no more. Shrugs gave me the same problem. So, I called it a day. Will get some front squats in later today. And will see if I can get some deads in.
Went home and took 1600mg of Motrin and that has helped. Along with some Voltaren rubbed in.

I could really start to feel my lat to tighten up again so I stopped here. With the Motrin helping like it is I don't think it's an injury but rather it's just knitting up on me. I'll get the kinks worked out over the weekend hopefully. Tomorrow is leg day and it will be light also.
Maybe santa will bring me one of those new fancy mattresses that's suppose to cure back aches...lol

If I need a pain reliever to quell pain I won't workout at all. I'd hate to make an issue worse because I can't temporarily feel it being agitated. This isn't necessarily a suggestion, just sharing a personal preference.

Hope the lat issue is just a knot and leaves quickly!

LEG day

In keeping with this being a lite week I kept the leg workout to a moderate weight. What surprised me today was the weights felt light. And these weights 4 months ago were heavy...

My right lat is still tender and radiates around to the chest but wasn't as intense today as yesterday.

Oh, if I had to take a Percocet then that would be a different story. Right now I feel it's something I can work around. Tomorrow will be interesting as its chest day. May have to really alter the workout but will decide that when I get up in the morning...

Chest day!!

First back felt great up until about 3am. Mental note: can't lay on my right side. Got a good idea what the issue is(thoracic disc alignment) so ill need to go see a chiro soon. Been trying to roll it out. Will try the TENS unit this evening and roll it before and after using it.

Still light weights(moderate really) which works out fine with my back issue.

Shoulders tomorrow but may just do OHP's and destroyers and fore go the laterals. Maybe throw some hack squats in its place to eat up the time...

I'm glad you're confused on what to call them--I sure wouldn't call them "light" ;) I sure hope your back/side feel better! Sounds like it's pretty rough!

Yeah, my strength is starting to even amaze me. I sit and wonder where I'd be at now if I didn't have to take 2003-2012 off due to multiple back surgeries. I'm blessed to even be back in the gym, let alone being able to push the weight I push. I look at each day as my last day and put 110% into it.

Today is cardio/rest day.

Finally broke down and went to Five Guys yesterday and had the Cheeseburger and a bag of fries. I think it has been almost a year since I've eaten there. Total cal intake yesterday was 3567 and I got up this morning 3lbs lighter. Weighed in at 195. Gotta love it...lol

Broke down last night and bought a bag of the Quest cheddar chips. Had them with lunch today and I'd have to say they weren't bad. I may buy a box just to have when I have that craving. Definitely not something I'd want to eat often but every now and then wouldn't be bad. How do they get 21grams of protein in there is what I want to know...

Vitamin Shoppe has them. I'll probably order the box from an online vendors as they are cheaper. But I recommend to buy one bag first to see if you like them.

You should try the Quest Cravings( like a Reese's PB cup). Crumble one up into some greek yogurt. Or some low cal ice cream... Friggin' awesome!!

should've been heavy day on back but I kind of strained the strain yesterday. So I went as heavy as I could until I felt it causing any pain.
