Yeah, I'm really pushing it right now. I had gained a little unwanted weight over the past 6 months and trimming it back down. Also doing 20 minutes of cardio in the evening. Trying to shred back down to my 12%. 6 weeks should put me where I want to be.
 
I have back on tap here.. energy is lackluster at the moment, hopefully it will improve before my lift so I can attempt to replicate some of those numbers!
 
Yeah, I felt my numbers should've been better. You shouldn't have any problems replicating my numbers. The Canadian Beastfreak should blow through like he always does!!
 
Rest day!
Knock on the door at 2am this morning. Went to the door and it's our son! Him and his wife showed up for a surprise visit! They drove 10 hours to get here and aren't heading back until Monday! I didn't think I'd get to see them before I head to Alaska. I'm one happy dad this weekend!

Today was chest day. I like doing barbell presses at home so I decided to be like you Northerners since it was 20 degrees (says feels like 11). You guys are nuts!

Versa gripps. I gave up worrying about grip years ago. Focus is entirely on the traps. Arthritis in my right wrist and hand doesn't help either...lol
I can hook 470 barehanded for only a couple reps, then grip would be toast!
 
My time is approaching fast too. I fly to Seattle on the 29th. Will be there until March 23rd. Fly home for a week and then fly to Anchorage on April 1st, Adak on April 3rd.
 
Been eyeballing the versa grips. They're just so expensive.

Love that area! I use to stop somewhere on that side and get cherries. Huge cherry orchard. Beautiful area too. Then stop and snow ski at Snowquami(?)
 
I find hack squats harder than regular squats. Strong one Brian.

The heavy comment I probably mis-worded and I should've said 1000lbs is scary. I could've injured myself. Luckily I didn't. Got to make sure my "focus" is on the rep I'm doing and not how many I'm going to complete. Core muscles and lats have to stay really tight. I think I allowed my core to relax just a little on that rep.
Good news I guess is I got a pause rep out of it...
