Prime & Trib supporters - a question

Now, I don't know whether or not tribulus works at all. I used to be a steadfast disbeliever but now I'm recomping with Blue Up and Super Cissus Rx, and my progress has been phenomenal. However, I don't know whether to attribute this to the Blue Up's high trib content, Super Cissus's myotropic effects (5-6 daily atm...injured pitching arm prompted a quick order), or just one of those magical spaces in time where I lose fat while setting PR's left and right. And this is freshly coming off of creatine monohydrate (5g pre and post). Now, my question to you tribulus fans is have you tried Prime? How was it different than traditional tribulus products/extracts? How were your results? It could be well-worth dropping $55-$110 for a product I'll respond well to, but first I'd like to see the feedback among tribulus "responders".

I believe the tribulus in Blue UP is a bit different the the trib in PRIME. I am not sure how this would effect it or if the different tribs work better than the others.

ive had many great runs in the past running tribulus solo, including plain saponins kind,

i havent tried prime though. its supposed to be totally different.

Right, completely different. This is a hard choice to make because 1) I don't know if it's the tribulus content in Blue Up my body is enjoying and 2) either way, Prime is a completely different trib extract. Everything is kind of up in the air right now, hopefully we can get more help.

Well

Tribulus Terrestris is the plant version found on the ground

Tribulus Aquaticus- is the tribulus found in aquatic plants.

You can tell by the last word after each "Tribulus" where they are found.

Check out our subforum, there are tons of threads regarding both Tribulus Aquaticus and our own Tribulus Terrestris extract, Tribulosin...

The new Flex says that trib signals the brain to output inceased LH, signaling the testes to start working. It also says that trib mainly increases DHEA, which could boost test.

Haven't tried Prime yet but I'm right on the fence. Just can't decide yet given the reviews are either totally positive or totally negative.

Now I know what you're saying about Trib. I've used LOTS of different trib products and here's how I'd rate them:

Adaptogen N (not just trib)
Fuzu (not just trib)
Bulk trib from BAC (full spectrum, the German 80% was junk, IMO)
Tribestan
Original Tribex (not just trib)

You can draw your own conclusions, but I'd say trib works best in combination with other botanicals. In particular, some type of ecdy from a quality source and/or Longjax.

Tribulus Terrestris is an extract from a vine, Tribulus Alatus is a relative to the Trib. Terr. and is found in the desert. It is interesting that most Tribulus plants are weeds :)

Good post, it suddenly occurred to me that Blue Up also contains a decent amount of LJ, so maybe they play off of each other in a synergistic manner.

The trib is supposed to raise test and the L J and avena sativa are supposed to raise free test(I believe). If you are taking the stim version, then there's yohimbe in it, too.
