Transformation & Physique Goal Challenge 2018! Let's get it done!!!

Sorry, Kleen, I didn’t even see your post. I would have totally met you! I’m only an hour and a half away. Hope you had a great time.

Haha, super gross!
No problem at all, now that I know for sure you are near the area I will be relentless in getting in touch with you next time! Always wanted to give you a big ol hug!!! Training with you would be fun too!

Has any companies offered to toss in a prize or 2? Would be awesome if they did!
chedapalooza the owner of HPSciences offered up a bottle of GlycoShield!

I put up some a video of some of my training and a demonstration for a medial and rear delt exercise I came up with using the sling shot in my log here.

Haha, yes! *hugs* You’ll kick my a** in the gym!

Missed 405 today on frontsquat. Took 2 shots: first attempt wasn’t tight enough & dumped it forward on the descent. 2nd attempt I did everything the way I needed to but just wasn’t strong enough to come out of the hole - this was right before I fell backwards

Dope looking pic tho brotha

Adding in a little cardio as of this weekend, going to try and get things moving along a little faster. Abs get yourself ready because the fat jacket is coming off!

I also decided to start some diet pills I had laying around the house. They are an old USP Labs OEP knock off. I forget the actual brand but they do work well for appetite suppression for sure. I also plan to have a look through my cabinet and see what all natty stuff I can find and put together a bit of a stack. Even if I decide to run anabolics it wont be until toward the end of this run. I am pretty sure I have a good amount of OL's transdermal laxo, and a few bottles of Ep1c. So I will more than likely put those to use as well.

Never heard the term "Fat Jacket", but I like it ........

Last workout today before my 9 day decondition.
Will be going back to my HST. Will be throwing in cardio Yes I said cardio! (I know this is a no no with HST) but MrKleen73 and Rocket3015 look better than me and I think the time has come to quit worrying about size and strength and try to lose some of this fat.
I haven't done cardio except in the bedroom for, Well I can't remember. Wish me luck and I hope that I dont pass out. I can't run so it will be stair climbers, Bike, treadmill. I'm not man enough to get on an elliptical (Plus it hurts my lower back for some reason)
My wife gets on those damn things for an hour at a time and I can't have her showing me up. plus I don't have anything pink to wear. lol

The elliptical is my machine of choice !! I wear Pink Panties !!

Yeah fat jacket. Lol
Studhorse you are gonna look beastly lean! Man I can’t wait to see it! Get that cardio done!

I am about to go to the gym and wing it. Maybe supersets like weighted chins and dips, rows and chest press then maybe some blood flow / cell swelling work for medial delts and arms. We shall see.

Heres me this morning after weighin in at 102.5kg this week. 4.5kg down so far - pretty happy with that, considering the cost (feeling hungry all the time sucks!). Achieved this with a 2845cal/day average for the last 7 days.

Strength has been up and down lately: failed 120kgx3 benchpress on saturday but hit 120kgx4 for 3 sets on Monday, but i think the S4 had kicked in (started this last week, 75mg/day).

Its good to see all the ptogress selfies in this thread, it's really keeping me motivated!

I like the fact that I am being held accountable, it gives me that extra kick in the pants!

weighted 207.2 last night. up a little but waist line is slimming down a little. looking forward to 9 days off. the body was screaming for time off.
Note: This is the end of my 3 months of extra gym time. Pretty happy and made some good gains over this time.
Like I said I'm going to start doing cardio. never really done it before, wish me luck!
Now if my pants start to get too loose around the waist and look stupid with a belt making them all scrunched up I will pull the plug. I own like 30+ pairs of slacks and I will not buy new ones. Well I do have a few 32" waist slacks that I have in the back of my closet that looked too new to pitch like 15 years ago.
This reminds me what is great about being a dude, very few of our clothes go out of style.Plus im too old to wear bedazzled jeans. lol

No progress, had no discipline for diet. Will gathering mental strength and keep trying.

Weighed in at 185.6lb today. Still looking really full considering 2 full weeks below 35g carbs daily. Still a good bit of lower an fat to remove but seems like I’m hitting a good level

Where do you live? It looks nice there... This is outside my house lol

I live in Bananaland, near the azzhole of the world (between nutsack and azzhole) in Paraguay. :)
Ah, you have snow! The only snow we have over here is "nose-snow".

Weight is back down a lb to 211 and I appear to be tightening up...

I live in New England. When I look at this photo, all I see is a shovel and for some reason my back starts hurting.

Dude we went to Florida last weekend and it had me questioning all of my life choices concerning living in IL...I’m sure it’s miserable in summer in FL, but we were swimming in the sunshine in the ocean breeze in February.

The heat in the summer can get bad sometimes. But, it's totally worth it. I try everyday to convince my wife to let me move us back to South Louisiana from Michigan

You want to try living in the uk bro. Our best summers are probably equal to a bad spring out your way lol

Calves either GOD gave them to you or he didn't. I have been working mine for 36 years and they are still small.

Deepwatercook - I think you have the best physique/post ratio on the board haha!
JCR97 and Studhorse - two pieces of advice from two people who fought intensely- Arnold and Mentzer

Arnold once had sub par calves. He realized one day that he had been training way to light. His logic was that standing on one leg he could do calf raises forever. This meant using twice his bodyweight for most calf exercises wouldn't even require growth. This was his logic anyway.

Mentzer had many clients with calf issues. He said they often had to go very heavy and more moderate reps than they thought, and train less frequently. Most people use high reps on calves.

Overdue update...this week was pretty busy. I didn't get as much time on the treadmill as If hoped. Still made some strength gains, albeit small gains of 1 rep on most of my goals.

Weigh in today was 204.8 vs. 207.1 last week. Just about 4 pounds in 2 weeks seems like failure to me. Just my mental makeup...but it is exactly what the plan was. One thing I have noticed vs. More intense diets is that I can have "cheats" that actually keep me under my calories and fit my macros, so I don't feel the need to go with a big cheat at all yet.

Here are some updated photos, which are almost as bad as the first set.

Depress that front side scapula, see it winging in the back? Pull it down and tuck it into the opposite back pocket. This will give you more arm length to get into better position while also pointing your chest up and letting it sit on your ribcage. Once you do that, then press your triceps into your lats so that it flattens the back and makes them look even bigger.

Your expectations are way too high when 4lbs in 2 weeks sounds like failure. That is about as fast as healthy weight loss gets unless you went full on keto after being on moderate to high carbs. Sure if way overweight faster happens but in your situation that is good stuff. If you kept it up the whole 12 weeks thats 24lbs and that is a massive drop.

I have decent calves naturally so I don’t routinely train them, but seems like heavy low volume low frequency is what they respond best to when I have. 3-4 sets once a week is ideal for me.

Like so heavy you have to use some English to knock out 8 partials that definitely don’t have time for a squeeze at the top - you’re just squeezing the entire set to try to move the weight.

Thanks man very much appreciated!! I will post up another pic of it in a few days lemme know if that’s what you’re talking about!!

Haha “use some English” love it! I will definitely try your tips I’ll up the weight and push them past failure. Do that once a week see what they’ll look like after.

Exactly and I try not to look at the scale when trying to cut. As much as it’s hard you need to be patient and observe yourself in the mirror. You will see changes and with all your lifting in the gym and busting your balls obviously you want to keep that hard earned tissue. 4lbs in 2 weeks sounds like it’s not super agressive therefore you’re right in that sweet spot.

Updated. Noodz 2-24-2018 Actually gain 1.5 pounds this week. Think I lost a little fat too.

Studhorse - looking good brother, and yeah you might actually be a little leaner. Looking good either way!

My diet was almost spot on last week. and I gained weight! I'll take it.
Started my 9 days off. the old body was screaming for that my last couple of weeks.
(I will be missing nudes next week and they sould look pretty crappy after the first week back. (I usually come back pretty quick after my decon.) plus I'm going to start cardio when I start back up.
Got the workout layed out already. Might change it up a little as I go along. depends on how my left lat / shoulder feels.

If I were you I would do some LISS during your de-conditioning phase. If nothing else just walk for an hour 3 times during the week. Will help out with fat loss as well as recovery.
