Transformation & Physique Goal Challenge 2018! Let's get it done!!!

Alright, I know I am way late and like I said, I don't care about winning. I got so much support on this board and over the last year+ I have been going through a lot at work. Nothing bad, but other priorities are taking a lot of time.

With all the support I've had on here I feel embarrassed and bad for gaining so much of what I lost back. But it's time to stop making excuses and do the work.

One thing, I tend to go nuts and go overboard on things. My idea here is to be moderate. Not looking to lose 40+ pounds in the next 10 weeks. My goal is to lose approx. 20 pounds and come in in the 180-185 range...but I want to gain some significant strength while I do this. For this reason my deficit will be smaller and more reasonable.

I plan on eating about 1500-1800 calories per day with around 150-200 grams of protein. Carbs and fat will just be whatever, not gonna avoid either. Just gonna get my protein and maintain a deficit.

My deficit will be increased with some work on the treadmill.

I have always sucked at running. My goal is to become a machine and be able to run at 6 MPH for an hour straight. Not gonna be easy, may be unrealistic.

I am currently squatting 255 x 15 and 295 x 5. Deadlift are 365 x 10 and 395 x 2. Bench Presses are around 185 x 13 and 225x4.

I would like to squat 300 x 15, deadlift 400 x 15, bench press 225 x 15 by the end of the 10 weeks.

And...I can't get the photos to upload on my phone so I will have to do those in the morning...

Okay guys, I have to admit this thing got a bit bigger than I expected pretty quickly. I am very excited about that but need to go back through and count up prizes and people who entered.

It seems most people are focused on a recomp, or cutting goal, and we have a few with performance goals, and 1 or 2 trying to gain mass. I would like to get some ideas of how to make this a fair comp regarding goals. Do we want to set up different categories or go by who met or beat their goals regardless of the type.

If some of you could weigh in on that it would be great. I will have something more official down in the 2nd post once we go make a few decisions.

If we do performance and composition goals then some people will end up being in 2 categories also.

Secondly I may need to pull back on some of my goals, I need to check and make sure I was not saying anything about strength gains specifically but my elbow is starting to insist that I not push it with anything requiring a lot of gripping. I did deadlifts Friday and forgot to take my Versa Grips knowing my elbow was a bit tender but thinking it was from pressing I worked out with out them and paid the price all weekend. My elbow is LIT UP!!! So if I have anything specific regarding pulling which I don't think I did that is something I will not be focusing as much on. Even if it was not listed before some of my weights are going to get much lighter for a bit to let this heal. I will also add that during this period I will increase active recovery and mobility work.

Stoked about this, email me your pics at my userid @ gmail.com and I will put them up for you.

Love the reasonable nutrition choices, I knew you couldn't not go without an extreme though, and you did not let me down!!!

Those are some serous strength gains you have planned! Kill it man!!!!

I think we should go with meet or beat the goal. Not sure if we have those many supps for different category winners, do we?

I think we have at least 6 items minimum, that is why I need to go back to count.

The title of the thread is “transformation and physique goal challenge” perhaps the make it the main challenge. Bonus challenge is performance. Set aside a few supps for that?

Loving it that’s some solid gains to be made

Okay guys, here I am in my "Mehhhh...." physique stage...

Weighed in today at 211.7 - a bit flat and depleted from cutting carbs back a good bit already. I also want to add my goal is to lean back out and improve my overall fitness level. In the end I want to reach a point where I feel confident with my shirt off. Not just comfortable, but confident. No specific weight in mind in mind but composition will close to my avatar and will definitely be sporting abs.

Oh yeah my puppy wanted to show you all his progress too. He is just a little over a year now and closing in on 130lbs.

I think i got in on your other challenge and we ended up donating to a charity. Sign me up.
I’m currently trying to build some muscle while keeping fat down on week 5 of OL massacr3 and constantly logging. Start to cut in april for 12 weeks so by the end of this challenge i’ll be 8 weeks in to a cut. In to have fun.

Heres where I am starting....Christmas was fun!Invalid Link Removed

Edit to include method & goals:

My goal bodyweight is 95kg (209Ib) from 105kg (231Ib) at last weigh-in. If I can achieve this without too much loss in strength I will go for 90kg. I would like to be able to maintain a new weight range without compromising strength.

Currently I am recovering from a psoas tear for which I must avoid free-weights for atleast another 3 weeks. Thus I am doing some cardio to keep up energy expenditure and attempting to maintain strength using Hammerstrength machines as well as gentles pilates based exercises prescribed by physio. All workouts are completed in the am before 9-10hr work days during which I am fairly active (between 17k and 20k steps working all day from a ladder).

At the moment I am cutting by attempting to eat less than 3000cal/day which so far has enabled me to drop 2kg in the first week (been cutting for 2 weeks now). Regarding macros, I just try to eat more than 200g protein and focus on 35g fibre as I find this ensures my diet is clean and sustainable - I find IIFYM becomes difficult when I eat crap food. Started taking cardarine yestetday, and still tweaking dosing protocol (yesterday i think it might have knocked me out).

I have a log in here under training logs with day-to-day detail.

Weight: 96kg (211lbs)

Two goals
First goal: Cutting down to 89kg (196lbs) --- Never could go below 90kg, it's a cursed number for me.
Second goal:lean bulking up to 93kg (205lbs)
Time: 3 month

So plans for myself are recomp. Just to maintain as much muscle and lose as much fat as possible in the time frame. Will be taking pictures and measurements only don't give a **** what the scale says.

Also follow below for my day to day log.

Starting weight: 190.0lb

Waist: 35.75in

Goals: recomp into cut. Basically trying to shape up for my wedding in September. Goal is to have my full abs back and be around 10% by July so I can cruise to the finish line.

For this challenge timeframe, looking to maintain as much size and weight as possible while leaning out. Expecting to have a solid 4 pack by the end of this 3mo timeframe and maybe even 6 with a hard flex and some fancy lighting ha.

Here’s me currently. Dexa 2 weeks ago put me at 18% bf (for those that dont know me I used to be fat hence the weird loose skin going on).

Goal 1 is lean bulk (on cycle in March) and ideally get to 215lbs with same bf (currently 205) after pct.

Goal 2 is a 400lb squat (currently 352) and 500lb dead (current 440). Goal 2 is obviously massively ambitious in the timescales, realistically for this thread the aim is simply progress towards those numbers to hit them by year end.

Good luck to everyone - let’s get it smashed

So, this is where I am at. Sitting at 160lbs with 13-14% bf. This was my first cut and I learnt a lot from mistakes I made during this 3 month cut. Hopefully, I will do a better cut next time. Goal is to reach 187lbs with 16% BF (not sure if this is unrealistic). Anyway, will try to get to the weight as much as possible.

My supplements will be
1) Start with Ep1logue (2months)
2) 3rd month Universal Nutrition Sterol Complex
3) Whey
4) Creatine
5) Fish Oil

Why am I writing all this down? I need suggestions/help on how to start and what to do. Since most of the people here are much more experienced than me, I am all ears.. I also will have in hand 2 bottles of Test1fy and Orig1n.

My focus areas will be Chest, Back and calves since they are my weakest

Stats:

Age- 31
Weight-215lbs(roughly)
Bf- no idea

Supps:

Will vary, probly run FD2 for a while and start Vector once it’s out. Maybe a ph? Not sure.

I honestly don’t know what I wanna do for this. Does look good naked count as a goal? If so that’s what I’ll do. Help me out guys, I’m really open to anything bulk/cut/recomp???
I’d love to do an actual recomp. I always say I’m gonna do it and it turns in to a extreme bulk haha. I’ll try my best. I think I’m gonna do a halo/msten 4-6 weeker starting this Monday then I’ll PCT and run a FD2/Vector stack for the remainder of the 3 months.

Appreciate the positive comments though guys!

Sorry to f up you log with all these shenanigans. Sorry could help myself.

OK for real starting picks.
Note I never change much.

-32 yrs old
-6’1”
-222 lbs this morning
-bf. Maybe 16%? Never dexa’d
-got married, got fluffy
-no ph’s next 3 months :(
-lifting for strength>aesthetics, big 3 lifts are central, willing to change structure for curiosity sake
End goal: lean out, especially abdomen area, without destroying strength too much. Also pack some mass onto the 16” pythons lol.

27 new daddy so things have been a bit hectic adjusting to the schedule .

My overal goals are to lean out more when i am seeing 6 abs i cant ever seem to do this

2 goal is to box jump 45 45.5 and 46 inches .
I calculate it this way so that 45 would be A) bronze 45 B)45.5 C) would be 46

So i set a standard where i want to get to but intend to pass it up . Best one as of now is 43.5

And to be in fact sure we post every weekend correct ?Invalid Link RemovedInvalid Link RemovedInvalid Link RemovedInvalid Link Removed

Ok so as I mentioned I wanted to just throw a couple of different shots of where I'm sitting now. I'm down to 182 lbs right now. Actually put on about 6 lbs since getting back at it full 3 months ago while staying around the same body fat. I plan on bulking as lean as possible until may then starting my first full cut in a few years to get shredded up for summer. Sorry for the Chewbacca look. It's winter have to keep a layer to save on my heat bill. :D

Alright, I know I am way late and like I said, I don't care about winning. I got so much support on this board and over the last year+ I have been going through a lot at work. Nothing bad, but other priorities are taking a lot of time.

And...I can't get the photos to upload on my phone so I will have to do those in the morning...

These are the entrants into the competition, alongside one or two who said they are following along but provided before pics so I feel we should honor them with mentions and a placeholder that will easily show progress. At this time those are JCR97, and LiveToLift and both of them are already looking pretty damn good so they don't have fat to go!

Also here are the prizes currently up for grabs. We have a total of 7 people offering and a total of 8 products.
MrKleen73 - Alpha Bulk chedapalooza - Glycoshield Mowglisml - B-12 & LeCheek AD-3 PCT jtmass - Reign Pre-Workout JCR97 - Canadian Ephedrine - HCL 3x50 @8mg Rocket3015 - CoQ Diesel Studhorse - Premium Powders Test Infusion

Most of us are doing some sort of physique goal, mostly leaning up as would be expected. SO I think the bulk of the products should be focused there, and perhaps have a 1 or 2 products set aside for the performance side of things.

Thoughts and ideas, I will make a decision today so we have the full on rules and decisions by tomorrow.

Good luck everyone - my photography is soooo bad - don’t hold that against me.

I’ll be back on cycle in a few weeks - is everyone on at some point in the timescales or is it worth having a natty/non natty split on prizes just to be fair?

Thanks again for organising MrKleen73 !!

If it’s okay with everyone, I’d like to have this separation.

WE ARE DEFINITELY DOING PROGRESS PICTURES AND UPDATES THIS WEEKEND. We are on an every other weekend schedule for progress pics for anyone with a physique goal of any kind.

I think it would be pretty awesome if any way we could get a training pick or vid of the people hitting a PR or working toward their goals regarding performance goal entries.

Also I noticed some of you did not mention current weights in your pictures, that will definitely be factored into the final decision on how much was lost or
gained in the effort to achieve the final results of the physical transformation. So for anyone with a physique based goal who sees they do not have a current weight listed please put an accurate weight in a PM for me and I will update your info in this post then possibly copy this to the 2nd post of the thread...

Also currently Eyeballing this as the prizes. Since most are physique based the bulk of the products will go toward the physique transformation

Physique Goals 1st place = 3 products, 2nd Place = 2 products, 3rd place = 1 product
Performance Goals 1 place - 2 products

Otherwise it could be

Fat Loss/Recomp 1st =3, 2nd = 2, 3rd = 1 - 9 total with leaning up as a goals
Lean Bulking - 1st only - 2 people going for
Performance - 1st only - 3 people going for

Good luck everyone - my photography is soooo bad - don’t hold that against me.

You are very welcome...
If it’s okay with everyone, I’d like to have this separation.

I am okay with it, but will definitely make it a bit more fair for those who are going all natty. However could be a little limiting to the performance guys since there are only 4 and I think one of them is going to be on a PH later during this.

I am on TRT already, but will more than likely run Radar1ne, and or other hormonal stuff at some point during the next 3 months.

When it comes to performance and meeting goals, I don't really see the Natty, or Assisted as being any different ASSUMING that the goals made by the person running gear made them expecting gear like gains then they are more likely to be loftier goals that are just as hard to hit as the ones the natty's are making because of having higher expectations due to being on gear. By that I mean a natty person my try to put 10-20lbs on their squat while someone on gear might have a goal of adding 30-40lbs to the squat... it is going to be just as hard for either of them to hit those goals in my opinion.

So in that vane, all those who intend to run anything hormonal during this time please speak up so we can see if there is a good option for splitting the prizes up fairly among the groups. If only a few people plan to run PH's SARMs, GH Secretetogues, Gear or Peptides then we will just put all of them in one group to compete against the other Assisted people for physique regardless of gains or loss goals.

If we have enough to classify then we can do that but I think the 2 people looking to lean bulk are both planning to be natty. So it really comes down to how many people plan to run hormones in the physique part.

With performance it may be more of a vote on if the one person who is running hormonal is going after a big enough increase that it is going to be just as challenging for them to hit as what the natty guys goals are.

C'Mon guys it is almost nailed down, then we are crushing it!

Current tally
Kleen = Assisted through part of this

MrKleen73 Thank you for all the hard work you are putting in to this thread!!

I'll give anything a try !!

My first update - actually gained 3lbs so sitting at 208 although intention is to cut back down over the next few weeks before getting on cycle in March.

Pictures below as of today. A touch of fat gain but strength also up last few weeks. Actually a shade stronger than when I finished my first cycle last year.

Way to put those up and be accountable Whiskey, doing them even when not required.

By the way as an update, I started at 211.7 and was 210.3 this past Saturday. So down 1.5lbs this week, and looking a little tighter. :)

Does it count that i lost 10lb between friday morning and saturday afternoon? haha

Of course it does since that happened in between the beginning and the end... Did you start your keto Friday or just a big dump or two?

No progress on my side yet. Today I'm fasting. Only water is allowed.
You have to confound the stomach, baby.-R.Piana-

I think we have at least 6 items minimum, that is why I need to go back to count.

Pretty sure I've got a sealed Radiate that I'm throwing in. I'm kind of in a transitionary period right now, but as soon as I get the chance, I'll check it out.

I was thinking of adding s4 this week, and i am already taking mk and cardarine so guess i am going to be assisted...

Of course it does since that happened in between the beginning and the end... Did you start your keto Friday or just a big dump or two?

Bit of both ha. Dropped some carbs in my last meal fri night and then worked out empty while waiting for the new diet plan... water=gone ha

Also, natty for the duration :)

Brother - do me a favor, go on Amazon and get 2-3 bottles of Apigenin. Take 2 caps 3x per day and see how your elbow feels I'm a few weeks.

As far as the contest, I am late and you have always supported my threads and so many other people have supported me on this board, I don't want to win anything or take from anyone else winning. My goal is to put in some work and hopefully get some competition going and basically just kick azz on my own goals (And stop making excuses) in the hopes that I can keep up and maybe even motivate others as they feel me coming up behind them. I am in for the adventure. Thanks for making me give up my excuses.

As far as my reasonable goals vs. Extreme goals - you know me. I have something wrong between my ears.

As for the strength gains...it will be a challenge. I will (hopefully) be making those gains working out 1 day on, 2 days off wither the entire body being trained in 2 workouts.

Ok, here are my photos taken yesterday:

Like I said, seeing how far I have slipped is hard for me...and I feel like I let a lot of people down after I was given so much support. The battle goes on however.

I stole a page out of the Solutions book and made some protein cheese cakes in cupcake tins. 12 cakes totaling about 1400 calories and 120 grams protein. I had 2 this afternoon and 2 beef jerky sticks. This totals about 570 calories and 66 grams of protein.

Tonight I had pancakes and 2 slices of bacon. Pancakes were made with: 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1 scoop whey protein, 1/2 cup egg beaters, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 1/2 tsp baking soda and 1/2 cup almond milk. Totaling 450 calories, 54 grams protein. Then I snuck 3 slices of bacon for another 130 calories. Puts me at 1150 calories. I will probably snack on 2 more protein cheesecakes for another 20 grams protein and 270 calories..leaving me at just over 1400 for the day.

And honestly, I am full and don't feel at all like today was a diet. The cheesecakes really make me feel like I cheated horribly

I started running on the treadmill yesterday. Haven't run in a long while so I sucked hard.

75% of the people in my town have the flu and I am a bit nervous I may be coming down with it...I was extremely tired at the end of the run, not physically from the work, more like I just suddenly had no energy.

I burned about 440 calories according to the treadmill, closer to 660 according to my fitbit. I ran/walked about 3.4 miles in 50 minutes.

Oh, and I will also be natty. I know it's hard to believe the physique in those photos is natural (heavy sarcasm)

I hear ya brother! You guys are all very motivating... thanks for that

MrKleen73 just want to say that my goal to frontsquat 405 is purely a declaration of intent, for accountability, here on AM.

I am NOT entering to win any prizes - I’m just saying that if I have my way, this is going down! I’m gonna make it happen.

Lots of good hard working people in here!!

Just to let everyone know - I was 208.7 pounds yesterday morning. This morning I was down to 202.5 pounds. Yes, Those numbers are correct.

I have to say this because, it just feels good regardless. When I don't update the numbers for a couple days, you know what's going on though, haha.

How does this happen? Well, as I said, literally 3 out of 4 people in my area have this killer flu going around. My gf said her throat is starting to hurt and as I said before, I was feeling a bit lethargic the past couple days. So, I took about 60 grams of Vitamin C last night, dosed throughout the night.

So, I know it's water. I know it's not fat. But let me have this :)

Congratulations, sounds like you dook about 60 grams of VitC and pissed out 54... You should really increase your L-Glutamine if you want to strengthen your immune system. It is the best thing for it. It is the preferred fuel of the immune system!!! That is why people in muscle building think it is not very bioavailable. Only about 50% ever makes it to the muscle as the rest is taken directly from the intestines to fuel the immune system as well as aid in gut health. L Glutamine beats theheck out of echinacea or Vit C. Add Vit c in and you are golden.

I am really contemplating putting myself in the Natty category here. If no one has a problem with me being on real TRT that is. It has been a little while since I really pushed myself without any chemical assistance. I kind of want to see what I can do here. Plus I think I am really going to be focusing more on getting healthier in the process so not hopping on anything during this time makes more sense with that goal.

So does anyone have any issue with me being in the natty group while taking my prescribed testosterone dose? I will end up running some natty supps with this set up too, as I imagine most are but since on TRT I wanted to get everyone's buy in on the "Natty" selection for me.

Bring it on!! :madfawk: You got my vote on being in the Natty section

Transformation & Physique Goal Challenge 2018! Let's get it done!!!

Currently on week 5 of 6 of my LGD cycle then I’m going complete natty without natty sups and I’ll be on pct during this contest. So you guys tell me if it’s natty or not? Pct won’t have any peptides just nolva and a bit of exemestane. If you guys say I’m in the enhanced I’ll just extend the run. So up to you guys it doesn’t matter much to me. Also just hit my goal of 205. I’m a bit fluffy but I’m ok with that. Invalid Link Removed

Yeah, my point is, I was late to the game so I don't want to take anything from anyone who was on time...but I won't say no. Regardless, all I wanna do is stop making excuses and kick azz and take names.

As far as the glutamine, I agree with that 100%. The thing for me with the Vitamin C is just experience. I've noticed that when I routinely take 4-6 grams of vitamin C a day, I rarely get sick (like once every few years). The C is not foolproof and normally I get taken down when EVERYONE in my family gets sick. When I go to work and everyone is sick, visit my parents and they are sick, and go home to my sick gf - I'm screwed.

Last time I was sick was in this same situation. People at work had whatever it was, then my mom and dad got it, and then my gf and then me. Everyone who had that cold was in bed for literally a week and sick for 2 weeks. No exaggeration at all. I was working one afternoon and my head started feeling like SH1T and I took off work an hour early, went home and started downing Vitamin C like this in mega doses. The next day I went to work, a little sick and the next day after that I was fine. I literally got over something that put people in bed for a week and kept them sick for 2 in about 36 hours and only missed 1 hour of work. Is it scientific? Heck no. Does it sound like crazy talk? Yes, it certainly does. Absolutely. But I will tell you what, for $30/KG if I go spend $6 when I'm about to get sick and get explosive diarrhea and get over it in a day, I'm not gonna fight it. If it's placebo, it's well worth it.

I also credit Gut Health to keeping me from getting sick too.

And I truly believe whey proteins have a lot of immune promoting properties, including their glutamine content.

Pfffft. Natty, not natty, whatever. I'm still gonna kick your butt.
