Training log revamp ROUND 3 lol

I do 100% agree on the difference between meat quality. 1 The chicken my cousin uses at his restaurant is like $10 a pound. But if I'm gonna pay 6-7lb for chicken I'd rather just switch to ground turkey and sirloin steaks

I've had it happen at cost co, bjs wholesale, Aldi, shoperite and stop n shop. Basically any time I buy chicken for less then $5 a lb I feel like it happen. Not every breast but a lot of them. The higher quality stuff not so many issues. But it's hard to beat 2.49lb and the butterfly + meat mallet takes care of it a d so does boiling. I already spend a lot on food, if I double my meat cost for the organic **** my girl will have a meltdown lol

oh sometimes when we are feeling lazy we might grab two of those $5 rotisserie chickens on a Sunday. one for dinner that day, then I just carve the birds up so I have chicken for lunches the rest of the week....

That’s why I started buying the higher quality and paying more, because I started noticing that myself. Most of the time the better quality chicken, that says they supposedly haven’t had steroids, does taste better, and not chewy.
But I do agree with your cousin though. From 1957 to 2005 the weight of chickens before processing is over 4 times heavier, and I’m sure that number has continued to grow.

a couple years ago when I raised my current batch of chicks we had 5 of a cornish x breed. they grew 3x as fast as our normal layers and got CRAZY BIG. they were at butchering size before our other birds were even full grown. probably a solid 3 months or more before they were even able to start laying... and that was just my organic chicks with all natural food!

I guess ya just gotta if you run a restaurant. you can't risk that nasty **** getting served

Or I may start using more things like cottage cheese and liquid egg whites ect.

I'm not big on fish as a regular meal option. I get burnt out on it really fast and no one else eats fish outside of sushi so it would be kind of selfish if I load the fridge with a bunch of fish that only I can eat anyways

Same. we try to eat fish 2 times or so per week just for the mixed health benefits but it doesn't make for a great lunch. I've done it, and can all week if I have to but it's not my first choice.

I've also been doing more ground turkey in breakfast the past few months but that's getting expensive too!!! IDK what we pay like $8-10lb? and a lb cooks down to like maybe 12oz if you're LUCKY. so maybe 2 breakfasts with me usually having 6oz of meat at breakfast (cooked). even with eggs being up in price my old routine of a pile of eggs is still a bit cheaper.

Ya. Lots of times I go to bjs wholesale on Sundays and buy 2 of the 3lb rotisserie chickens, there only $4.99 each. As long as you're not worried about the higher fat content you cannot beat that deal. It's a home run. I even did a chicken a day 1 time. I start the week off with 3 chickens and do drumsticks and eggs for breakfast one breast in a wrap for lunch the other breast for dinner with rice and vegetables. In between meals 1 and 2 I would have a PBJ and post workout drink a shake. Then buy 3 more and repeat.

6 chickens $30
1 bag of wraps $2
1 loaf of bread $1.25
1 jar crap peanut butter $2
Protein powder about $12 a week
And then about $10 worth of rice fruits and vegetables for the week.

Solid bulking diet for about $60 WEEK

I've Been paying 4.29lb for ground turkey for a while. So I don't buy it too much but occasionally it goes on sale for a $1.99 a pound and I'll buy a bunch of it freeze it

50 mg of s23 makes 50mg of anavar, tbol, or winni look like creatine
Seriously!? Injectable or pill? It's atleast gotta be cheaper than anavar. Steve was also turning his nose up at ugl's I'm like sorry bro we all can't live I Thailand and get pharm grade everything and even I I could I wouldn't be able to afford a halfway decent cycle

Apparently you've been watching those old big on a budget videos from Universal nutrition

Actually I shouldn't say that, I'm sure I've seen it if it's on YouTube. But I'm a bargain shopper. I have been since I was a little kid. I want the most for my money.

Noticed the same chewy spots thing with breasts. I only ever get them when my wife wants me to grill them for her; I just flat out don’t eat breasts anymore as a prep staple. I will grill some thighs up soon as it warms up. I’d rather make room for fats and enjoy my meat than have to chew rubbery bike tires and eat a bit less carbs.

We pay that 4.29/lb for antibiotic free ground 93/7 ground turkey, less than $5/lb for 93/7 beef, I spend either $5 for top round steak or occasionally $9 for sirloin.

I have absolutely found you get what you pay for, and I have found that is better than most supplements, so I invest in my nutrition now.

I can tell you I’d definitely take 25mg of Var over 30mg oral S23, any day. Night and day difference in sides and harshness on body. But S23 is at least 50% stronger per mg.

Those were awesome!

Butterfly it and pound it with a meat mallet and you will never get a piece like that again. Put the chicken between double layer pieces of plastic wrapping and beat the **** out of it.

I'm fukin exhausted, I worked 12 hrs today broken up into 2 shifts and hit the gym. Gotta be up tomorrow at 530 am and work 630-430 and then do legs after. Yall have a good night😵

Nope. Never seen a single one
I'm pretty sure they're filmed in Connecticut you might recognize it...it's all them dudes who worked out at your cousins gym that were sponsored by Universal cuz they're wearing their animal pak gear during the film. They grab 100$ bill and go into the grocery store and show you how much food yiu can actually get for under 100$

These ground turkey prices you guys are finding... i wonder if it's a regional thing. I'm certain mine is almost double what you and Hyde are paying.

But yeah the chicken thing I find relatable lol 😅
I'll usually carve out the breast/white meat separate with no skin for my wife's meal prep and keep the fatty parts, skin, all the rest for my meals since I can afford the extra fat calories a helluva a lot easier than her.

Lately to keep my personal groceries under $75 a week IL shop at Aldi. The beef they sell to make beef tacos is $5.99lb, chicken breast $2.49lb, ground turkey $4.29lb.

There fruit and vegetables are cheap, I get 5oz flavored Greek yogurt cups for like 69cents a cup. Wraps and loaves of bread are like $2

Then I have my $4.00 a day fairlife habit and I buy rice and oats in bulk once a month.

Also had a huge score today. Back when covid 1st started they sent every family in the public school system a food stamp card with $400.00 on it. On the 2nd round they selected families that made under a certain amount of money and we didn't qualify, Mainly because my dumb a** girlfriend put both of our incomes and she didn't have to because we're not married.

For some Reason I never threw the card away it's been sitting on my bureau in a jar for like 2 years.

For some reason I randomly picked it up this morning and And I was about to throw it away but I decided to check the balance on it just in case And there's $789 on it lol.

Time to stock up! That’s gotta be like 3 dozen eggs at least…

Hey, now you can splurge and maybe throw in some steaks.😜

Did you let your chick know?

Spoiler alert, someone around here hit your boy with some epistane. I really liked it back in the day, I bet it's been 10 years since I used it. so I'm probably gonna find a way to work it into my upcoming cycle. This generous fella was just gonna hand it over but I'm gonna send him some bpc 157 for the generous gift he gave me. Thanks bud I appreciate you!

Before I pinned my favorite stack was td trest, epistane and SD. That stack was probably The 1st time I looked in the mirror and thought holy s*** I actually looked like I'm on stuff lol.

I won't be doing that combo, but IL probably add epistane in a scenario where I want more gains without more estrogen. I always felt like it was a mix of winni and anavar style results.

I also once did a dbol and epistane combo at only 15mg each and it was pretty good
You're welcome Brother! Can't wait to see the results my man!

I'm already itching to use it lol
Shoot I am itching to hop on something every time I come into this thread!!!!

My boy was trying to convince me to throw it in now and try to tighten up a little over the next 4-5 weeks and them drop it and add the eq. It kinda goes against how I believe things should be done tho. His reasoning is that the time it's gonna take before we add anything toxic or whatever there will be plenty of downtime between ending and adding something to worry about.

Another thing stopping me is I haven't got this acid reflux under control yet

That would actually be a good little pre cycle before the big cycle with your trt dose

You know what, this morning I woke up and said **** it. I took 15mg of epistane with meal 1. I emailed my guy for his up to date product list and I'm putting a order togther this weekend. 🤷‍♂️

I am for this experiment, lol. Let's hope your joints don't start cracking.

For what it's worth, I've used a product for acid reflux, that has sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, sodium carbonate, potassium sodium tartrate. And it works pretty well. I rarely suffer from acid reflux / heartburn though and I assume, that that's a pretty mild product, so may not be effective for more severe cases.

I never typically get joint issues from any gear. I've used epistane before but like 10 years ago so hopefully not much has changed.

That's what the f.ck I'm talking about!! Let's do this

Epistane always made me very strong. Took about 4 weeks to come to fruition, but then bam - everything is up across the board, undeniably.

If you can drop weight on epistane without a massive caloric deficit I will be impressed. Even in a deficit I grow from epistane. It just treats me VERY WELL for both size and strength. I gained 8lbs and dropped several % bodyfat on my last 8 week run of epistane.

Unfortunately for me the pumps and effects it has on my joints / connective tissue make it not the best cycle for me. Once on a walk at lunch I ended up back an hour late from lunch because I cramped so bad in my tibialis and calves I had to stop walking several times and wait for the pumps to back off a little just so I could walk more. Unfortunately I was about a mile from the office when the pumps / cramps started, hence being an hour late returning.

Nice, what mg do you intend to run a day?

Yep, it definitely works well! Just a little rough on the joints and pumps.

I highly doubt I will loose any weight. I'm not a fan of telling ppl to recomp but there'd context that they don't understand. I've been bigger and I've also been leaner. I'm pretty sure I could Stay in a slight surplus on epistane and drop body fat as long as I'm killing it in the gym. From prior experience I wouldn't be surprised if I gained 5 or 6 pounds in the 1st week or 2. Especially with the diet tweaks I'm putting into action. I'm trying to take what I know and what I'm always preaching and wrap it up In a nice little package for myself. Don't be surprised if you see a completely different person in the next 6 to 8 weeks.

It's go time!

Oh, I plan on using 30mg a day, maybe go up to 40/45.

I believe last time I used the stuff I started at 30 and finished at 45 as well. Kind of hard to remember it was a long time ago and I might have gone up to 60 cause I used to push everything really hard with the orals back then, mainly because My cycles were oral only in the very beginning like everyone else is and then they moved on to testosterone plus orals and I never really leveraged anything else at 1st. I didn't understand as much as I do now so I would hammer the oral doses. Now I know that I don't need a ton, I just need more food and more effort.

So right now it's 150 test e +30mg epistane
I will add 600mg of eq when my gear comes.
Then I will swap epistane for npp.

If I feel like my joints are killing me Il drop epistane for NPP early or IL just add the npp.

I wanna be rolling on about a 1000mg total drug load or whatever you wanna call it by mid April and ride that as long as progress is coming along. Once progress stalls I'm sure my boy will say get bloodwork and then we make a decision from there.

If at any point in time I'm suffering from low estrogen sidrs I'll just increase my testosterone.

Outside of the epistane it's a pretty mild 900mg with

150 test
600eq
150npp.

I'm hoping I can use more npp without sides. I'm sure everyone already knows this but 19 nor steroids hate my guts, or my tits I should say. But Outside the gyno I love them. So hopefully this e2 hack of sorts will work

IL tell you guys something. I'm already improving fairly rapidly the past few weeks so this should shoot me off like a fukin rocket. I definitely have found a new "zone" or something at the gym. I'm pushing out of my comfort zone on a regular basis without seeming to have any negative kickback on recovery. I wanna find that upper limit and start grinding.

My girlfriend never compliments me and this morning she was like babe, how much bigger do you wanna get. I said idk maybe 15 to 20 lbs more. She was like that's too much, you got big in the past 2 months already.

I was like, You just think that because I'm a little fatter then normal. She was like no, your not fat your a little fluffier then normal but you look really big.

I can't see it, body dysmorphia I guess. I also had a random dude walk up to me during legs last night and just said, what's up bro. Keep grinding, it's working.

When my wife use to ask me the same thing I would tell her babes I wanna be so big abd jacked that when I walk into the gym all the other dudes put their heads down and walk out because they know there is no way they could get to my level. Straight kill their motivation to train

As a matter of fact there's 2 or 3 dudes at my gym right now that are motivating me to be unbelievably huge. I should fly @Smont Out to Cali to go train with me so we could show those wannabes how it's really done

Lol, that's good. I just pictured this giant Markus Rahul size mofo walking in and the little guy in a stringer putting his head down.

My boy just came back from Cali, he travels for work. Next time he goes to the nuke plant out there I'm going to try to get my union to send me out there too. Because I have a lot of nuke Plant experience it they might be able to send me. I gotta double check what the name of the plant is but it's the highest paid nuke rate in the country. He gross like 12k a month on paper plus another $2800 a month tax free for per diem

Do you know which part of Cali? I know those dudes make good money and so do the oil rig roughnecks that work all up and down the coast

That's good but I've been told that I look more like jay cutler especially scince I have the exact same haircut he did in the early 2000s. After the cycle I'm gonna cut it like he did for the 2009 olympia when he did the quad stomp and had that cool Mohawk style cut
