Training log revamp ROUND 3 lol

Dude down to 227 today wtf!? I really wanted to be over 230 at the first if the month. I'm gonna add more red meat the next few weeks and see what happens. I knew something was up because I've been looking really lean and vascular this past week, I just thought it was all the tanning. I'm as dark as you now. It's weird how this whole thing works. If you told me a year ago that I'd be 227 with a full 6 pack and vascularity I haven't seen I over a decade o woulda taken that all day but now I'm disappointed. It really is never ending. Next year if I'm 240 with the same amount of definition and I complain make sure and check me lol

Numbers are irrelevant, when you step on a stage or go to the beach no one is thinking 🤔 I wonder how much he weighs. If anything I'm way more impressed when someone looks 230 and weighs 200lbs. Yea I know i need to take my own advice I tell people the same thing everyday..I should be ecstatic..not even b.s.ing i get comments from strangers like everyday now today at the grocery store yesterday at the gas station..it helps that I can wear a tank top year round out here tho unlike some people I know...😛

Funny enough, even when I'm in my absolute best shape I don't wear a tank top outside of the gym. I don't like the attention, I mean I do, but I don't. It's hard to explain. I always feel like I'm being judged like a dbag. Gym, beach and maybe if I'm at a cookout or beach or something. But normal day to day activities I cover up. Especially if I'm with my kids. I had someone stop and compliment me twice at 6 flags last year and it makes my kids uncomfortable. I think it bothers them cus I'm not that much older then them compared to other kids parents. I actually had this 9 or 10 year old kid flex at me and say hey! I like yiur pump lol

That's funny my mom told me the same thing. I had a long term relationship that started my junior year (she was a senior) that actually lasted off on and on for 7 years! But my mom would always say oh God Michael please don't make me a grandmother at 38 lol

You go to the Mass six flags or the jersey one?
 
The mass one is nice but small. Jersey one I live really close so I go like once a week minimum during the season (membership) lol
I have season memberships but honestly I try to go as little as possible. My feet fukin kill after walking the parks. My feet have issues from injuries. Back in the day we use to hit 6 flags jersey for 2 days, then go Atlantic city for 3 days and wildwood for 2 days all in one vacation
 
It is and I got a season pass there too. That ones the rough one for me because it’s in a steep hill
Maybe 2 years ago my girl wanted to take the kids and my niece to Hershey park and that was a lot of hills if I remember correctly. When I was a kid Hershey park seemed awesome but when I went back it didn't appear that they updated or changed much outside of adding a few Starbucks and raising the prices.
 
When I lived in Detroit my first summer there my work did a picnic at cedar point. I've been to Disney land and six flags magic mountain a million times but cedar point is by far the best amusement park I've ever been to. I really don't do roller coasters anymore but the whole atmosphere is really cool. Being right on the lake and everything, the whole place was beautiful

I've heard it's a nice place, unfortunately the rest of Detroit tho......😬 not sure I wanna bring my kids to there. I actually thought cedar point was in Ohio tho?
 
If it’s disc trauma, if it’s manageable now the discs actually desiccate & callus with age. Shattered bone can even heal (Brian Carroll took the appropriate time off to rehab and went from squatting 1,200 to 1,300).

My limited understanding is things like bone spurring or chronic disorders like that are what can really require surgery, or when total reconstruction/replacement is needed post trauma obviously but if you are managing now that’s not you.

I am not trying to be obtuse in any way because I am only replying based on what you have shared, I just want to impart the idea that a lot of medical specialists are flat out wrong when it comes to human potential for recovery. They try to set reasonable expectations so you don’t get blindsided if it comes time to pay the piper, but this can also unnecessarily eliminate hope from a lot of people.

I appreciate your response and had never heard of disc calusing (sp?) so that’s cool to learn. I think the main issue is the general degeneration alongside my acute injury. Part of that is genetic unfortunately. However I doubt any medical professional I’ve seen accounts for the role of ped use in healing so I remain optimistic. That’s not to say I believe using X compound will magically make my blown out discs go back to normal, but they can certainly facilitate a better environment for recovery. Only time will tell I suppose. Sorry @Smont for clogging up the thread.
 
Last 2 workouts I'm starting to alter my split to be more productive. Yesterday was mid to lower back, hamstrings and biceps. Great workout. Today was chest shoulders and triceps, beat every single thing in the log book and even added a few drop sets. 3 days of keeping carbs under 100gm I lost 2 lbs and then I ate 100gm carbs pre workout today and I had veins popping out of my shins and calves, weird lol.Invalid Link RemovedGot multiple compliments today but spoiler alert, I went to a planet fitness today so it's easy to stand out in that place lol.

Rest days when needed, I decided to break up hams and quads to give each one more work and split up back just because. My back is actually getting really wide and I never noticed till I jokingly Have my son take a picture of me standing in the corner like I did something wrong and realized my back has got a lot wider then previous pics. Invalid Link Removed I'm actually passed now that I have been so lazy since October because I probably could have stayed on like 300 test and kept making progress. Obviously this picture doesn't show anything but I sized it up with previous pictures and I'm definitely wider. Probably from all the weighted pullups I was doing at the boxing gym.

Still tweaking the diet, idk what me real maintenence calories are any more without boxing and working in the pit but I gotta guess 3000 to 3200. IL know for sure by the end of the week.

Sounds like you figured out your plan of attack bringing carbs down and dropping the MK. Also sounds like things are going well with it since beating the log books!

Ya, a little bit of mental gymnastics but I'm gonna keep trucking. I'm definitely a little fatter then I thought. I'm not saying I'm fat at all, I'm just carrying a little more bodyfat then I thought. But I also definitely was holding water from mk, still am I think. I also forget that I'm only doing like a hour or 2 of moderate to low intensity cardio vs. The 5+ hours of Hitt cardio I was doing before. I'm worrying about stuff I shouldn't because I literally have all the playing cards to use still. More cardio, more gear, health supplements, gh, peptides, t3/4, clen (probably no clen) I'm not even using carnitine or creatine and haven't had my intra workout stuff in like a week. There's so much room for change

Yeah, tons of things you can change for right now. You still look great, but I know for your goals this isn't the starting place you had in mind either.

It's not, but even tho I talk about How Recomp Is the slowest way to go about things, it's slow for building new muscle or getting lean for the first time. I've been much bigger and I've beven way leaner before too. Just hoping on a proper cycle will have some recomp effect and I don't need to be ripped. Bigger and stronger is plenty good As long as I keep my body fat and check. I still plan on pushing the scale once I get my gear ordered

Damn dude calves are legit, i wish I had veins like yours, I have nick walker calves...no varicose veins anywhere but there for all to see, if I had the rest of his physique i wouldn't mind. Now you just gotta shave those bad boys
 
I didn't even think about your maintenance calories being different now that you're not working the concrete job. That's gonna make a huge difference..it may actually be better this way scince you're not going to be burning as much it'll be easier to get into a surplus..it'll be cheaper atleast

My guy delivers quick. I'm probably gonna hit him up in a week or so and get the first 10 weeks worth. Little test, little npp and a lot of eq. Big bolus dose of eq every Sunday and test prop and npp on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. If the low test high eq works like we're hoping it will set up the second half perfectly. If it doesn't work it's as simple as raising my testosterone dose and adding some exemestane.

You're using prop for the test? Makes sense considering it's dosed at 100mg..pip sucks on it tho..does npp have pip at all considering it has a short ester as well? Never tried it, always got deca

I don't get pip from npp or prop. The reason I'm starting with test proo is so if I need to lower it or pull it or raise it I can very quickly. I have not been able to use a reasonable dose of any 19nors in the past. Npp, dienolone, trest all cause me prolactin gyno problems ever since trest gave me gyno. Many ppl who have problems with these things it's because of e2. So we want e2 very low and we're going to use a large ish amount of eq and npp to get enough e1 to cover the estrogen functions. The only reason I'm using any testosterone at all is because I don't like the idea of no testosterone in the cycle altho technically you don't want any e2 to do this properly. It's hard to explain and it's not something I've ever done before. If it works for me like it does for many ppl who have the issues I get it should eliminate the gyno sides. It should also eliminate the back acne

Dude I was listening to an old q and a episode with big Paul and he said 2 ius of gh was a waste. That dose is really only used for anti aging. But dave Crossland ( huge fan) and Dave Palumbo( can't stand him) both say you can get a lot from 2ius. Palumbo said 4 wad like the " sweet spot ". Was thinking of upping the dose to 3 ius ED when i start the cycle. That way a kit would still last a month and also fit into the budget. I'll be using berberine and maybe getting my hands on some metormin as well altho I don't think 3 ius will cause that much insulin resistance
 
Over the next month I'm gonna really dive into how to best deploy insulin into the protocol and see how far I can take my physique

I also have a hard time listening to anything Palumbo says. No1 I'm the bodybuilding/fitness industry says more contradictory stuff then Palumbo. He's also notorious for charging ppl for coaching a d giving out pre-made cookie cutter programs, diets and drug protocols. He also says low fat high carb diets don't work and pretty much every other coach on the planet will disagree. **** Palumbo he's a snake

It does spread lol, I want to wait till about April too so I can get the most out of what I'm doing now. I'm progressing workout to workout by the numbers so it's kinda foolish to just hop straight into a blast. But I'm itching. I just know I'm going to skip out on extra progress by adding gear when progress is full speed. I'm pretty much surpassed all my weights on exercises in the 10-12 range and many are not challenging yet. I wanna go till I hit a wall, deload and then start the cycle.

Haha, I don't pay tons of attention to him but I think he should be like the ultimate villain in movies with that face of his. He is like a jacked joker or even Skelator. :p

That's exactly what Paul said 2 ius is more for anti aging he also said if that's all you can afford spend that money on coaching instead but I get my coaching for free from @Smont And @Hyde 😜
 
Forgot to tell you this morning when I pinned my growth tge needle was kinda sticking in my skin when I tried to pull it out but when I finally did it left a little lump, thought i messed it up but I just looked right now and it's pretty much gone. These 29 gauge needles do not work well, they stick in the stopper on the vial too. It sucks I Have a whole box. Should've gotten 30 Guage oh well
 
Did upper back, quads and biceps today. Did my chins, a machine pull down and cable pullover. Warmed up legs with addictions and bodyweight squats, then on barbell squats I worked up to 350×3 and backed off to 225×20 and fished off with 5 sets of leg ext. Biceps was a straight bar curl and a seated machine curl that life fitness makes. I normally don't sweat a ton from lifting but squats today had me out of breath and sweating more then normal. Still, nothing was excessively hard

What brand? I use 28g easy touch slin pins and no issues at all
 
Has anyone heard of mk or hgh or elevated igf levels. Basically anything of this nature causing peeling skin on the hands?

I'm trying to put 2 and 2 together a d that's the only variable even tho I'm thinking it's completely unrelated. The skin on my hands has been peeling for the past week. It's odd tho, there not dry at all, they don't hurt or sting or anything and the skin underneath the peeling stuff looks great lol. But they won't stop peeling.

No chemicals or anything new have I Injusted or worked with, weather is cold ish and dry but again, hands are not dry and I been using a good moisture cream 3x a day the past 5 days.

When I get in the shower I give my hands a good scrub and get all the dead skin off and then I get out and I put the moisturizing cream on and my hands look great. A hour later there peeling. Just now I put a olive oil based stuff on and some rubber gloves to keep them moist. Did thos yesterday and it seems to help.

No issues other then it doesn't look good I guess.

Any ideas?
 
I get a reaction like that sometimes when I have had to touch my car battery. have you given anyone a jump recently or anything where your hands could have gotten into something?
