Strongman is a lot of fun. I don't wanna train for the events right now because it's not a big thing for me & it ultimately is a very easy sport to get injured. But when my army buddy is in town if we have a wkend we always train strongman for a few hours together for giggles.
First time I ever did farmers walks, I tweaked my knee. Didn't do anything crazy, just hard to walk with good form w/ heavy weight. I got up to 185/arm for over 50yds when it happened. Could have probably did 225, but injury & done for the day - so my advice is be careful lol But if you can squat, deadlift, & overhead press with decent form, and you don't have the grip of a 2yr old girl, anybody can do strongman.
