I really want to get bigger & heavier. I don't want to get fatter, but I'm not sure there's much way around it without huge amounts of drugs that I'm not really interested in dealing with right now. No way I'm getting to 250 from 208 currently without continuing to get sloppier. I suppose I can always recomp once I get there, but in general I think the best thing for me is not rush it too fast & take my time getting there.
^^ This attitude is finding it's way into my head more and more lately.

Exactly - I would only remember them for the purpose of steadily trying to increase reps or periodically bump weights. The progression is what's important, not the number. If you curl 20lb dbells for 10, & now you can consistently do 11-12, you're adding muscle fibers. Nobody cares what you curl - it's how big the guns are. And that's assuming nothing else like tempo or rest periods has been modified that would change the difficulty.

I'm looking at this from a maximum power perspective. More weight & size means more leverage. Gaining 40lbs in even a year is gonna be a pretty sloppy 40lbs. But I can tell my frame is built to be bigger than 220 weightclass. 242 probably. 275 would be straight fatboy, & I don't want that. That's what Jim Wendler squat his 1000 in multiply at, & he was fat as heck.

Saw a great acquaintance at the gym that does phys therapy w/ athletes; he used to powerlift when he was younger & is big on Oly lifting now. Had him coach me on my KB swings - boy was I glad! I was using way too much squatting & shoulder muscle. He got me to unload my shoulders entirely & really firing my hips hard to drive the weight instead of squattin' & poppin'. Got me using a lot more weight & feeling it in my hams, glutes & core. I'll be trying 80 at least next time.

At your size, 80lb kb swings should be no problem. I'm much smaller and use the 70 when I decide to throw in some swings. Great for conditioning.

That's what I'm thinking. The 35lb set was diagnostic while he could see what I had going on, then we hit the 50 w/ proper muscle activation & just kept adding weight. Honestly I could see 100 working. I wasn't counting reps, just kept thrusting until I started to burn decent, but it was a lot it seemed.




Btw, Off-day today, y'all. Thinking I'm gonna be having Ihop later after church w/ mom. Lethargy, thy name is pancakes.....

Andrey Malanichev set the world record raw squat at 1,014lbs in january I believe. As a raw squat in comp, he had to walk that out & walk it back in to rack it after he squat.

Derek Kendall hit this in training about 3 months back, & while he didn't walk it out, it's the heaviest raw squat I've ever heard of:

If he can replicate this in competition after a walk out, he'll become the new world record holder. Not world record holder in blah blah federation at X weightclass in such-n-such country, I'm talking raw world record period, amongst anyone who's ever put a barbell on their back in front of judges anywhere. Talk about Conqu3ring!

Didn't use the belt tonight either. The weights were scheduled to be light, so I took advantage of it. This program is definitely gonna build my grip - I've never worked it so hard so consistently. My hands hurt just as bad as last week.

Day 49

Officially began an anabolic cycle tonight: began some Stanodrol today, which obviously will have zero effect on my workout tonight or my last one on Conqu3r, Friday, as it's not had any time to work. Just disclosure, for transparency's sake.

Awesome workout tonight. Took 1 & 1/3 scoop Conqu3r, & some gals in skimpy clothes were giving out free sugar-free Redbulls at the gym, so stacked that in during my initial benching. Felt really strong & ready to roll the entire session. I've been getting fed, nutrition has been plentiful, & the extra stims really helped light some fire now that I'm very used to 1 scoop.

Wk 2, Heavy Bench

Benchpress 45x10, 95x5, 135x5, 185x5, 215x2x5 sets
CGBP 230x3, 3
Bench w/ Pause 1" Off Chest 200x6, 6
Bench + Full Boar Slingshot 255x6, 265x5

Added the Slingshot sets purely as extra work since it's the heavy day for bench. All bench reps were done with a competition pause.

Most definitely. When I got sick (the wk before we hung out, if you'll recall) I got down to 197. I told you how small I felt; I just looked frail. Bounced back to 203 after the meet, since I'd started eating again.

At the start of this Conqu3r run (as previously mentioned) I got on 20mg of Osta & began eating at a surplus over these past 6wks. Eating over 200, sometimes 300g of carbs/day during this log. The Osta, while of no benefit performance-wise, has helped push the calories into the right places. Osta finished monday, yesterday was nothing, & beginning hormones today (just Stano @ 800 atm). This log has been so fun, just gaining back size & lifting heavy weights & seeing slow but steady increases in strength.

My gf bought a green case cuz she got a yellow 5C. She since has gotten a different case so I'm using her leftovers (green on green so you know what I'm about....not money, poor stylistic choices lol).

The slingshot is stoooopid fun. Being in the squat suit, & from what I gather, a bench shirt, sux hard. Hurts, leaves bite marks, tough to get in & out of & breathe in even really. The slingshot slides right on/off by yourself easy as pie, doesn't hurt or feel uncomfortable, supports nagging/injured shoulders like a benchshirt, & is a blast to use. Like putting a nitrous kit on your benchpress: superpowers engaged lol

Guy at the gym that does a LOT of Oly lifting, the phys therapist, saw me use it wedensday & was also benching. He tried it during warmups & LOVED it; I let him use it & he used it for all of his work sets that day - he only really needs to build his triceps/lockout strength for his snatch/pushpress anyway, so this was perfect for him. He literally ordered one the next day :banana:

Yep, this anabolic cycle is gonna peak for the meet. Stano, 1dhea, Dianadrol, MAYBE Sdrol blast 10 days pre-contest.

Day 52

Ended up squatting thurs night when I realized my cousin's wedding reception friday was gonna start too early to lift. I was dragging & whipped before I ever got to the gym, so I knew it was gonna be rough. This rep day KILLED me; I simply don't have the gpp for volume on squat. I consistently fell short of the rep ranges asked by the program for the percentages desired to be used, & ended up throwing a couple moderate singles in before packing it in & calling it a day. I had to lift so late I didn't even take my conqu3r & instead used 200mg of caffeine, some agmatine & creatine. NOT as good as Conqu3r lol, but I could sleep after the late lift.
