Day 12 - Wheels and Guns B*tches

Me and my lifting buddy felt some knee pain first set... probably from our last leg beatdown... so we did an extra set at 135. Felt heavy. Then we did 225 - 8 is damn respectful for me, but then I racked it up again - he shouted at me and the retard strength kicked in... 10 @ 225 is a rep PR - a full set of 12 I believe was supposed to be my end all goal for squats. Then of course the obligitory

Leg Press - Close Stance
10*180, 10*270, 10*360, 8*450, 6*450
Pretty standard here... but when we were done - we spend about 6 minutes rolling around on the floor trying to get our legs to work again. I'm so glad this dude and I started doing legs together - bringing sh*t to a whole 'nother level.

Lying Hamstring Curl

One of those double pulley things... So I can't tell how much I was doing (I know it wasn't 140 like it listed)... anyway, I did 5 sets ramped down to exhaustion each set.

Feel great today. Slept well for the first time since the cycle started last night... 7 full hours with no tossing / turning. Be surprised how much that helps I guess. Money also suggested a stim PreWO to combat some of the lethargic feelings I've been having. The RPM I had in my cupboard will be a staple for the remainder of this cycle.

Tell you what, nothing quite like needing to use the railing to get up from the basement squat racks to do arms. Some dudes look at me like I just got railed in the ass (probably excites them a bit)... But my pain is beautiful... Go f*ck yourselves.

Really can't say enough about how well this has been going the last 3 workouts. I'm very impressed. Just as a side note - I dosed 20mg of Nolv last night, and I'll split another 20mg pill over the next two nights - then cease.

I feel sorry for Grilla... :lol: if you try to have a 35 minute "workout" with me - I'm going to beat the everloving sh*t out of you. :buttkick:

I finally almost feel respectable with leg strength. I can remember just a couple months ago I could only bang out one or 2 on 225... Now 275 is my new ******* weight. Just can't seem to bang that out more than a couple times. Granted my legs are always pretty shot by then, but the progress is slow.
 
You might want to get the Po-Po on speed dial on Friday byach. Murrrdaaaa...

The first time I moved out and was a good distance from home, knowing only my roommates, I filled out an application that asked for Emergency Contacts and I put, "The Police." It didn't work out, so I made up a contact, anyway, the po-po on speed dial reminded me of that.

Retarded pump today - particularly on the seated lateral raise and the last set or so on military. Shoulder pumps would actually stop my sets. Need to remember Taurine next workout.
 
Dam man that sucks. Most of the MMA guys I know have tons of **** in their gym bags. Figured you might have a good shot.

Yeah, you should see my gym bag now... Mouthpiece, boxing gloves, shoes, linment, tape, gauze, lock, 2 hats, straps, belt... It's a mess.

Anyway, my new bag is a free one from work... So I can't go posting that logo and stuff.

if they get bigger at least. otherwise, not so much fun.

I know Money has got them before... They are dehabilitating man... My back pumps yesterday were insane, but the shoulders are what kills me... I still love it. :lol:

I'm still unsure as to what really causes back pumps, shoulder pumps, calf pumps, etc....
I get calf pumps like a mo-fo.

Now, I know what causes penis pumps......and I keep going back for more!!! :chick: :boobies: :hump:

But seriously, what chemical properties of these compounds we're taking could cause these "pumps"? :thinking:

I'm still of the opinion that it's the extra intensity and workloads that we place on ourselves when we know we're on "gear". I think it's just muscle soreness. But during a workout, it's probably just from gorging that particular muscle group with blood causing painful but delicious pumps!! :yup:
 
I read something a long time ago about the pumps while on cycle. I think I remember it being more about the red blood cell count being greater(from the compound), thus the muscles worked receiving larger quantities. I will look into it again.

I know muscle pumps are for real because on the sauce my back pumps are pretty intense, and I can lift the same weight off cycle and not get back pumps at all. I think it has to do with the red bloodcell count, more O2 being in the bloodstream or maybe just more blood in the muscle. I know TRN raises the red-bloodcell count.

I have been getting them at unusual times though. like waking up, when i am just chillen in bed. i have never gotten them then? WTF?
 
I just can't workout too late, because I have a rehearsal dinner from 7 to 9 I think... Then I go straight to In-N-Out Burger.

Girl starts doing girl things at 2:30 - so should aim for gym time around then... I probably have till 5 or so to do whatever, then I gotta go back to the hotel to get dressed for the rehearsal dinner.

Saturday I can work out in the morning... then I gotta go get dressed up again for the wedding. Black tie... gah.
