luckily my gym is straight sausage factory full of dudes banging out heavy steel. There's a World's in the next town where you can go for the eye sexy time. It's a fun field trip sometimes. but not to lift.
I agree. This is a big reason I train at home now. I'm easily distracted.......especially if there's females around. The alpha-male just seems to take over! :twisted: I had a free week pass to my town's Powerhouse Gym. I almost killed myself in there that week! I was really showing off for the girls. There was lots of 'em in there too! I did lift some incredible weights that week though. If I had joined, I probably would have wound up injured! :fool2: LMAO!!

WAR REPORT: Now, this is more like it!! This is what makes the heart of the Thundergod soar with joy unbound! Glorious Battle!! :duel: Here's the way to return to blasting after a cruise period. The Numbers#--CHEST---BENCH PRESSES: 315 X 8-4-2. These are done with DC style rest-pauses. 15 deep breaths between rounds. All back off sets are done with picture perfect form. Using slow, controlled movements, slower negatives and partials at the end with an occasional static hold on the very last rep. Back off at 225 X 12. INCLINE BENCH PRESSES: 295 X 7-4-2. I couldn't quite lock out rep #8, so I won't count it. Only complete reps are counted. I don't count the partials at the end. Back off at 215 X 12. PEC-DECK FLYES: 200 X 12. Back off at 150 X 15. PULLOVERS: 130 X 10. Back off at 100 X 12. ONE-ARM REGULAR CABLE CROSSOVERS: 80 X 12. Back off at 60 X 15. TRICEPS----STANDING TRICEPS PUSHDOWNS: 175 X 8-4-3. Back off at 135 X 15. SEATED ONE-ARM CABLE EXTENSIONS: 80 X 12. Back off at 60 X 12. REVERSE-GRIP PUSHDOWNS: 135 X 10! Heavy and hard! Back off at 100 X 12. Then I finished off with a set of ROPE PUSHDOWNS: 100 X 12. And they were toast!! I was very pleased to have performed at this level after the 2 week cruise period. It's on now!! Time to shatter PR's!! :aargh: FOR GLORY, FOR HONOR, FOR ASGARD!!! :duel::hammer:

Yeah bro. I'm glad you mentioned that. I forgot about posting it in my report. Sorry. I took 3 caps of Millennium Sport Technologies' CRE-02 1 and 1/2 hours before the workout. I really could give a better assessment of it, were I not on-cycle at the moment. I'll be able to give a more unbiased opinion once I enter PCT. That's when these things make the most difference IMHO!! I can honestly say that I believe that the CRE-02 helped significantly with endurance. That was a brutal workout, but at the end I still had a little something left in the tank. Usually I feel like falling down on the floor after the whole ordeal! The Berzerker Rage takes a lot out of the warrior. CRE-02 put some back!! It's only the first time using it, but I give it a thumbs-up for performance enhancement! :thumbsup:
 
I took the CRE-02 yesterday before chest and had a massive beatdown. I'm going to call it placebo for now. :)
Placebo is still the strongest thing I have ever experienced so far! :lol:

I'm with you on the self inflicted injury when the ladies are present. It happens easily. I was so happy to come back to the home gym where the real men play and only lift for the sheer joy of it. Not to impress some gym groupie. Though I love them like anyone, I think being an older married man does take the fun out of it.

More for the lady killers like Timber!
 
I guess I'm just a freakin perv. I'll never get to the point where I think having attractive women at the gym is a bad thing.

I don't get motivated much by bigger guys... I just get motivated by destroying crap and not being able to move the next day - and I need something to stare at between rest pauses.

I just want to bang it out and leave and then let my mind wander. Thats why I prefer the sausage factory. But in NY, you must be breaking your neck at every turn.
 
You guys should be able to focus in the gym whether there are women present or not if you are serious about your training. We really don't sit around and drool over the guys muscle. Some of us are actually sculpting our own bodies.

I like the male version of eye candy at times but when I hit the gym its time to train. I turn off everything but my training time and get it done.

Went to the bathroom and some drunk as hell girl was blocking the sink , she reached up and ran her hands all over my arm telling me how good I look and was really freaking me out. My instinct was to knock her ass out. I don't touch you, you don't touch me! But I just walked out the door.

I have never had trouble until I started training with people wanting to touch and say things they shouldn't to me. Seems to give people the "right" to harass you.

She did NOT have the right to approach you and touch you like that! Also, no one has the right to disrespect you or harass you. It's a damn shame not everyone has the decency to live by this code of honor. To adhere to the Golden Rule is the best way for mortals to interact with each other! :box:

I can definitely focus... Usually on buttcheeks. No reason I can't train while I shop.
 
Yo TG, I got a new workout routine to run by you (which is probably a variation of something else that someone's already come up with, but I don't f**kin' know!). I've been scheming on ways to improve the iron beast's chances, since he's been getting his ass kicked a little mightily just lately :duel::thumbsup:.

The idea is to keep my 3 day split for upper body w/ a rest day in between each (legs still gets its own day), but instead of going dedicated (monday - Chest/bis, wednesday - shoulder, friday back/tris) I'd do a full upper body workout each day, using only 1 compound exercise and 1 iso for each muscle group. The idea, as we've discussed w/ other routines in the past, would be to basically leave it all in the weightroom on each exercise, since you're only getting those two chances to wear out each muscle muscle group. We're talking heavier weights and working to failure every time.

Furthermore, you'll notice in my example below that I've set pushing and pulling exercises in an alternate format to allow for recovery during the workout and I've rotated muscle groups per day so that chest, shoulders and back each get a day of the week where they're the freshest muscle group.

I don't think it would be good to maintain this for more than, say, 4 weeks, but I think it could be really effective for building overall size in bursts. Particularly might be effective during a bulking cycle...say a 2-3 weeker of mdrol, should one of those cross my path in the near future.:twisted:

I hear you on the focus thing. I just get annoyed with the hanging out and primping while those of us who are serious are trying to do stuff. That happens in my experience in the clubs more than in the gyms. But where ever you are it is up to you to get your work done.
and good for you for not knocking that chick out. touchy feely is a bit creepy if you ask me. hands off stranger!

and I'm with TG. Us men do have a problem evolving from the little boy that still lurks inside. though training while you shop is a skill!

I think it's doable. But I think hitting upper body 3 times per week will eat into recovery. Fast. I would rather hit upper body twice at the most while hitting the legs all-out once per week. The exercises look good though. After warm-ups, just 2 all-out sets of each movement. Total muscular failure. :aargh:

Well, that's why I was thinking of using it in short bursts, probably more like 2 weeks than 4, but then reverting to a regular routine. I suppose I could just hit it up twice a week w/ 2 days off in between instead.

But what my idea of utilizing the 3 day split on an mdrol 2-3 weeker? Recovery is greatly increased when on, and I think the frequency of attack and use of compound movements could really stimulate a lot of growth. What do you think?
 
I personally love to see nice girls in the gym, my test goes trough the roof(even when I`m on ,lol, better than hcg) , and I would love all of them to get their hands on me , but that's just me and I respect others opinions, girls are the thing I love most in this damned world

Recovery is faster when on-cycle. Your training split very well could work for you. Give it a try. But for me, I know what works best. Low volume and low frequency coupled with high-intensity. Training the same bodypart 3 times per week wouldn't work so well for me. But for you, it might.

3 days of lifting on cycle is for vaginas. I'm going to be tossing crap around at least 6 days a week.

It's the same old scenario observed throughout the ages. Women like shiny treasure, and men like women! Men only seek to aquire riches, treasures, and wealth just to attract women to their side! I've seen it happen like this down through the millennia. :fool2:
 
I have a recipe that I'd like to share with the class. I made some home-made protein bars last night. I call 'em, "Thundergod's Thunder-licious Black Forest Protein Ice Cream Bars"!! Easy to make as well: Take 2 boxes of Jello Pudding White Chocolate and mix 'em up with 4 cups of Fat-Free (skim) Milk. Before it thickens, add 8 scoops of your favorite Vanilla Whey Protein Powder, 1 and 1/2 cups of crushed Post Cereal "Honey Bunches Of Oats with Strawberries", 2 cups of dry coarse Oatmeal, 3 tablespoons of Peanut Butter, and 2 tablespoons of dark Honey. Mix well and pour into a large baking dish. Cover over with plastic saran wrap and put into freezer. An hour later take it out and cut it into 8 equal size "bars". You have to leave this stuff in the freezer however, as it will melt and turn back into pudding if you don't! But it's a great-tasting and healthy snack for pre or post-workout or anytime you need a protein blast!
