ha i do this with half my empty supp containers and such... Moving this weekend was pretty entertaining seeing all the crap I have pack-ratted away in the nooks and crannies

All in all I was skeptical on the non-dairy offering from Ben & Jerry's, and it was a swing and a miss. A weak base overpowered by the caramel swirl left next to no coffee flavor at all. The fudge chunks are similar to the regular Ben & Jerry offerings providing a thick texture and a lackluster flavor. A great concept to those who want a non-dairy based ice cream, but the flavor is just not there. I will skip on trying the other flavors after my experience with this one.

Has anyone tried either of the Kroger brand "coffee and donuts" or "fried ice cream" flavors from their deluxe line? Everything else I've had from them has been stellar and they're closing out these flavrs so theyre like $1.50 for a half gal....

Turkey Hill Fried Ice Cream was pretty decent. for 1.50$ thats pretty damn cost effective.

Baskin-Robbins’ Flavor of the Month for March is the new Cookie Jar Mashup Ice Cream.

The flavor features Oreo, Chips Ahoy!, AND Nutter Butter cookie pieces in vanilla ice cream with a chocolate flavored ribbon.

My giant eagle just started to carry the flavors and pints in store

Powered by ice cream has been let down multiple times from BR I am going to steer clear and save more money for Graeters and other legit brands like ample hills and Handels

i dipped into each of them very briefly last night...
the brownie is lame, its as boring as the regular plain chocolate just with little chips (i didnt find a brownie piece in my little spoonful)
SD was actually quite good and had a bunch of little sugar cookie chunks. its like a very light version of select actually. I was impressed.
Banana was actually quite good too. Strong banana smell and flavor as well as wafer chunks.

SD/Banana are far better than any of the other ones I've had except cookie shake and vanilla (I love the ridic sweetness) which arent too bad in a pinch.
 
I will try those latter two for sure then.

The 75 cal dough pint was so light on the pieces i didnt expect those to have much of any either. I know theirs are more "flecks/crumbs" than chunks

Arctic Zero key lime pie depressed me it sucked so bad ha.
 
For the price I rather pay for Gelato Fiasco Dark Chocolate Caramel Sea Salt. Which could be one of the best low cal ice cream/gelato's I have ever had

I can't argue with that, tried it fir variety but wouldn't re-buy for the price.
 
Had turkey hill gelato swirls caramel cookie, pics soon..,. Loved it lots of cookies and u know TH always brings that swirl

Enjoy the weekend. If you want a legit Donut Place (buckeye donut) or go down the street to little Man's which is smaller donuts but larger variety.
 
Had little mans last year, they were all really good, jsut cake donuts with different toppings but very good and smaller so more variety

Not released yet, it's a Haagen Dasz Pineapple Coconut Gelato.

Very creamy, base is on point. Think Peaches and cream, but Pineapple. The coconut is light but a nice accent. 240 cals per 1/2 cup because mix ins are light, but it is a gelato.
Mix ins were pineapple chunks, small but consistent the whole way through.

Grade: B-

Only tried the Cookie Shake Arctic Zero and it's horrible LOL. Made me not want to try any others.

Overall HD Cookies and Cream is good, but does not crack my top 3 cookies and cream of all times. Ultimate Shoppe, Graeters, and B&J Milk & Cookies take the cake with a superior base and mix-ins. Do I think its a good flavor? yes, but there is room for improvement. The base is fantastic. Smooth, creamy, and has a strong vanilla to it. The cookies were not bad, but could be improved in the flavor department. It will be hard to find brands who can match the size of Graeter's and Chocolate Shoppe

Overall it was what I expected. Brownie Batter core is something new and exciting, but nothing over the top quality wise. The core series have never got a great score, but there is room for improvement on each pint they do release. While the brownie batter core was done to perfection, the basic chocolate and vanilla ice cream need work. The brownies could of been larger in size like some of the other flavors on the line, but beggars cannot be choosers. My core seemed to only go half way through the pint, and that is where I first spotted my brownies. The consistency of the mix-ins was really off in my experience.

Grade: C+
