The Ultimate Fighter 10 Preview

dude season 4 kicked ass! i also like season 7th? with tim credur and matt brown a lot. ryan baiders season was alright but 9 and 10 suck so bad. these fights are horrible. no ones even striking. wes sims trains with wrestlers too. hes a werid guy, i wanted him to win to hope to see another face stomp(jk)
 
Last season wasn't as bad as this one. At least they still had the fight to get on bit in the beginning. Dana keeps saying there's gonna be better fights and even before the show they would say there's so much content and story in this seasson they wanted to add on episodes. I think he should have kept his mouth shut. Did these guys look good on paper maybe? Certainly there's heavyweights out there that don't fkin stink.

EDIT: plus wasn't last season the one where the guy knocked himself out by slamming someone? classic.
 
Yeah, Dana's hype has only made this worse. We are five episodes in, and have yet to be flabbergasted with content - whether from coaches or fighters.
 
maybe after the first round is over it will get better. all team rashad. i dont care tho ill still watch the show but damn does it suck. im hoping for some good quarter and semi finals
 
I just wait until the day after and find the fight vid. I really could care less about the "entertainment" during the show.

Maybe thats why they stacked the finale card with some great fighters. Dana's like I know I know...it sucks... but I'll give you a tyson fight and a jones fight if you will forgive me.

My friend Zack is trying out for next season's LHW division. There are try outs in Los Angeles on October 20-something. I heard the words Griffin and Rich Franklin as the coaches. That would not interest me, but I'm not 100% I heard right, and I didn't care to ask twice when I thought I heard what I heart, I was mostly concerned about Zack's current inflamed LCL.

I actually haven't watched any of this season's TUF, with the exception of the first episode. Once I got early word about Kimbo, compounded by the non-final coach fight, my interest deflated.
 
Good. If you've DVR'd them, just delete them and save room for Family guy. We'll let you know if something worth your time comes about;)
 
If Rampage doesn't get one win on the show I'll stop complaining about him leaving MMA. I'd be pretty depressed too.
 
Schoonover's from my area. Goofy, goofy dude. He's put on a ton of weight for the show; he usually fights at LHW.
 
I just started watching this recently and I must say it is a great program. It does amaze me how some of these people get on that show though.
 
yeah some might be better but because its all wrestling weve only seen one standup war and they got tired. also rampage would kill him i mean those tities!!!!!
 
His titties were no more voluptuous than the other guys. I'm pretty sure titties could K Rampage TFO... if he didn't get K'dTFO first.

I think dana hit the nail on the head. Rampage would wreck titties, no comparison :twak:

i dont think a guy on TUF would beat page unless page didnt take it seriously or had a huge lay off or something stupid. it would have to be a really lucky punch or a kimbo punch haha. i dont even like any of these guys on this season.

Puh-lease! Dana and Weaky-Tiki are the last 2 Rampage cheerleaders. They're just trying to keep that coke-head's mystique alive. But for all the sh1t-talking that he does, why doesn't anyone ever call him on his low-speed tirade? That would've been the first thing out of my mouth had he called me "titties." LMAO! Now THAT'S good TV!

Thats a subject hes probably real sensitive about.... I think if titties brought that up hed get knocked out for real, and he probably knows it. Plus, thats a pretty low blow.

If it wasn't for rampage we'd never see Tiki on a zuffa program except on reruns of when he gets knocked out by Blas Avena on WEC.
 
I don't think it's any lower than constantly berating someone about their moobs. And I bet you that they were told to never bring that up because of how it was swept under the rug and really just, sort of, went "away." Fuck that noise, everytime I would've heard a word that rhymed with "titties" coming out of his marble-mouth, I would've have called him "Coke-head." If he assaulted me, all the better. ALthough Dana would've just covered it up anyway.
 
meh,... rampage still cracks me up regardless. I do have alot more respect for Rashad Evans though. I hated him before the show aired.
 
yeah this season is not what i thought. i thought page would be in a better mood and be fun. now its like he doesnt wanan be there and his heart isnt there. bad strats and coaching. rashad is just way more professional and smart. i would want the new mexico crew in my corner for sure.

I thought the ninja bit was pretty funny with down syndrome sims. Fight was better and yet I think Kimbos youtube fights were more compelling since these guys gas out before the job is finished.
 
Last night was just embarrassing. They looked like 2 out-of-shape warthogs. Had either of them been in-shape, the fight would have ended in the 1st.
 
This could very well be the worst season of TUF; made particularly more disappointing because, against my better judgment no less, I believed DW's "this is the best season ever".

I agree! What the hell was Dana so excited about at the end of round 1? These guys make Tim Sylvia look like a decathlete. Well, not really but they looked really bad.

Oh there is no question that this season is by far the worst.

And at least Tim S was in shape in the upper body. These guys are pigs.
 
My DVR didn't record past the end of the fight, which one of those fatties won? Man they must do a ton of cardio.:haha: Im guessing it was the unstable freak that can communicate with his out-of-state wife without a phone. He should have won round 1

I was watching nip/tuck, and was flipping back and forth between the shows. I put TUF back on at about 45 seconds left in the first round. I thought to myself wow the previews were true,... "this is the best fight of the season" Dana claimed, and I thought they were showing lots of heart....


That was until I looked down at the countdown clock and the round and became confused. When I saw that they were still in the first round, I didn't know what to think. I became so embarrassed just watching it, I changed the channel @ about 15 seconds into the second round. Is running to the refrigerator the only conditioning these guys have?

It could be due to the fact that the fights this season haven't been any where near impressive compared to any fights of past sessions, maybe this one was better? Or it could be because Dana White is a knucklehead. :13:
 
seriously how do you come into this season being that out of shape. this season sucks and the fighters are mostly garbage. we need some good 225 and 230 pound fighters who are ripped with good cardio and stikes these guys blow.

Ya I think the problem is some of these guys aren't true heavyweights. They got a chance to be on the show and said y the hell not and dirty bulked to hell and back. Killing what cardio they had. NONE of these guys could go 3 rounds.
 
I'm sad this season has been so disappointing, I thought heavyweights had a lot of potential. Hopefully before any of these guys make it to the UFC they will get some cardio in lol

I seriously hope nobody is watching the show and viewing MMA for the first time. On the other hand more people might join because it doesn't look that difficult.
