So for a quick second I thought Baby was gonna be a hot ticket for the UFC till Schaub took him out. Didn't see that one coming.
 
As soon as they stood up I knew Marcus was going out. He just moves too stiff standing. But it was great watching him on the ground.
 
He looked good on the ground, but even getting up he got a great knee in. And that Titties knock out was the tits.

So who wins between Sch. and Big stomach this Saturday?

Ya he def impressed the hell out of me. Just knew Schaub would KO him standing.

Idk Schaub has been KO everyone standing but BC has taken every fight to the ground and used that belly. I think it would be better for the UFC if Schaub wins. I will go Schaub by somehow KO BC.
 
I actually dont see much of a way (outside of punchers chance) that Schaub wins. I think this fight will look a lot like many of the others for Nelson. I think at this point he is far too seasoned to lose to Schaub

Ya I unfortunately agree. He has experience that is unmatched. Just dont really want to see it happen.
 
Nelson shouldn't have had to go on TUF; he's proven to be a legit HW.

Recent pics have shown him to be much more trim and it will help his game if he came in around 235 or so.

I disagree. Why? The guy pulls his belly just fine, and DEFINITELY uses it. It doesnt seem to effect his cardio. I mean, he ****ing sits on people and they cant get him off. As much as his belly disgusts me, it looked like that was the best thing his fatass had going for him on TUF.




:EDIT: I think nelson's took enough blows from strikers this season to prove hes not gonna go down by Schaub.

He did take some good hits to the face, but I never thought Marcus was gonna lose either.
Marcus has a solid chance at a win against meathead.

He hasn't been pushed by anyone with excellent cardio. Also, his weight is not what helps him; it's his BB in BJJ along with some solid wrestling that helps.

yeah, his bb in bjj and solid wrestling definitely does HELP. BUT - in MY opinion, James Mcsweeney would have been able to buck his way out of that crucifix if Roy was the 235lbs that you said would make him a better fighter, and possibly take the fight away. But since Roys 264lb belly was on him, he was unable to do so.



Just sayin... :)
 
How pissed must Dana be now that he has to give Big Country a 6 figure contract? He absolutely hates him and had to come up with that "he finally convinced me" after the quarters just to cover his bases in case he won TUF...

It should be funny to see where this goes.
 
At the end of the day it actually was not fair to the greener guys to have Nelson. He was a top 15 guy. The good thing is, he doesnt have to be built up, and can be given some decent challenges off the bat. Maybe the loser of Kongo/Mir
