The random thought/question thread

The greatest indicator of a mans potential for success is not his I.Q. (Intelligence Quotient) but rather his E.Q. (Emotional Quotient).

Emotional intelligence (EI) or emotional quotient (EQ) is the capacity of individuals to recognize their own, and other people's emotions, to discriminate between different feelings and label them appropriately, and to use emotional information to guide thinking and behavior.

I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I fall in.
I am lost... I am helpless.
It isn't my fault.
It takes forever to find a way out.

I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I pretend I don't see it.
I fall in again.
I can't believe I am in the same place.
But, it isn't my fault.
It still takes me a long time to get out.

I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I see it is there.
I still fall in. It's a habit.
My eyes are open.
I know where I am.
It is my fault. I get out immediately.

I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I walk around it.

I walk down another street.

Today I know that such memories are the key not to the past, but to the future. I know that the experiences of our lives, when we let God use them, become the mysterious and perfect preparation for the work He will give us to do.

Seriously? Where?!

lol, I don't want to say the name but... There are some amazing perks!

Free life insurance.
Free medical, dental, and vision.
You get a bonus every quarter if you don't call in sick.
If it's a good year, whatever revenue that is over what was expected is split among all the employees.

:)

Edit: We have company dinners and gatherings all the time. :)
