Nice, I get better contraction out of declines myself. As a matter of fact on the EMG I think it is shown to be the best contraction for chest, that and Flat DB bench. My best chest contraction other than crossovers of course if the Hammer Strength Decline. I get SICK almost painful contraction there.

How was Looper? I am liking the look of it and Bruce Willis and the guy playing him as him young self are great actors. I forget the younger guys name but I have liked him ever since Third Rock from the Sun.

I liked Looper if it matters. :D

I love sci-fi stuff though and Joseph Gordon Levitt has been doing some good movies lately.

You ever try banded decline, or hammer strength decline? Talk about contraction.

Yeah that is what I said was my best contraction over all. Well that and cable cross overs. Which is almost the same movement. I love them. Of course Snags works out at home so he doesn't get to play with the Hammer Strength much if at all.

Banded Hammer Declines? Thought you just meant regular, my bad(or maybe it was the way I worded my post..lol). Bands definitely give them a new twist.

solid session with the weights today - i mean i was a beast. :aargh:
i mean i was strong, i was energetic, joints felt good..
aaaaand it was arm day. :(
well, got a good one in, did a lil extra isolation bi work in the form of 21s (preacher curl setup)..did some abs too..
locking down diet tight for awhile, try to tighten things up a bit, slowly.

Man the work pose makes it so blatantly obvious how massive of a shoulder to waist ratio you have! I see the difference in BF but you still look great and big! Maybe even Great Big! :)

lol. ketchup does not make regular appearances at my establishment, to be sure....
i find it refreshing every once in awhile - esp with some drier lean ground beef.

absolutely fantastic training session this day as i enter 3rd week of format..strength was great, drive was high, no injury issues or soreness -- felt good! as mentioned, TRS is done now, so supplement use now looks like this for awhile:
multi
fish oil
Axon
cissus
super pump max

foods used
protein: lean beef, tuna, chicken breast, turkey breast, deli cuts, cottage cheese, protein powders (mostly isolates)

fats: whole eggs, butter, heavy whipping cream, coconut butter, almond butter, peanut butter, raw almonds, coconut/almond milk

carbs: potatoes, oats, black beans, jasmine rice, brown rice syrup, honey, 15-grain bread, pineapple, sierra mist & various low-fat cereals (postWO)

I feel like we use the majority of the same food sources. :o

got some catching up to do here..
workouts been going well, diet in check and reduction in cals has gotten weight back down to 203ish.

TUE - off
WED - legs/shoulders
THUR - bi/tri
FRI - off

sadly, in response to the goings on at Primordial, my log will end here.
(kinda hard to have a Primordial off-season when there is no company)

best to Eric, Matt, the reps and everyone at the company going forward..

as for me, i will regroup and keep doing my thing.

see ya around the boards. :wavey:

Sad to see all that. I'll definitely follow along if/when you start a new log.

Not good news at all. Definitely give a heads up when starting anything else champ.
