I'm just itching to see whether its Rick, Lori, or Daryl who ends up killing Shane. Could even be Andrea
 
Guess I'm the only one who likes Shane lol I would have killed all those ppl in that house expect for the horny chick...less ppl means more food and supplies for my group

and what sort of future society can you form with morals like that? Even with the zombies in the barn, they were in no danger there until Shane started opening the door.
 
I wouldn't worry about morals until the threat has ended....I would just be a little more ruthless in my survival tactics to keep me and my group fed and armed

the way you start a journey usually tells how the journey will end too. Whats to stop someone in your group then thinking "if I kill him, theres more for me " ?
 
ya i think id just try my best the armor up the house board the windows n what not and just stick it out at home, we have a pretty nice armory :P
 
Anyone see the trailer on walking deads web page? The one where Rick and Hershel are in the bar drinking and two guys walk in and say something like well look who's alive. Or some such. One guy looks fat and the other normal. Can't see who it really is. Any guess? Darryl's brother coming back? Or do y'all think we really have seen the last of his brother?

Btw. I'm glad to hear they are gonna leave that damn farm.
 
I bet the horny chick goes with them, her father had that whole gang lulled into believing the zombies were just sick, now she has seen the truth.

I control the tv in my house. No seriously I do. Of course that's easy cause she doesnt really care to watch tv at al lol. We are watching the Grammys till walking dead comes on and then well record the rest of the Grammys. The mrs secretly is addicted to walking dead. She hates tht I watch it but then asks all kinds of questions and if she misses an episodes I have to give a play by play account. Lol

Haha ya my sister had surgery a little after the 2nd season started. I would go over there on Sundays and convinced her to watch it with me. Last night she texted me to let me know the new season starts tonight haha.
 
Well that first episode sucked my taint. Last season was a 1 1/2 hr premier and this season was an hour of yawns.
 
Started a little slow. Great ending. Looks like next episode should have some good action.

Dude! I was sayin that last night! Classic example of a dumb azz bitch! I hope that means they're killing her off. Dumb whore. Didn't exactly morn the supposed death of her husband too long before she start circuit banging his best friend. Couple weeks tops?

In the meantime you just left your only child on a farm with a bunch of nuts you barely really know!

What's funny is the more I think about it the more I dislike most of them. Darryl is the ****, ricks cool, the Asian guy is alright as well, but he needs to learn to man up and think quicker on his feet. Rick shouldn't have had to turn around at the bar. The Asian kid should have seen it coming and taken the fat guy out with the shotgun.

Couldn't have said it better. The only chick I like is the horny farm chick. But that just cus shes got the rural slut thing goin lol
 
do any of you think that perhaps prions could end up being a vector for creating "actual" zombies?

Well this upcoming episode should be interesting.

What twists me right now is how all of a sudden shane and the blond are like "we cant let anybody find the farm" like its THEIR farm now, they ARE the outsiders still, yet the farm old guy let them stay, its a freaking farm, if they plant crops and have animals, and lumber, more people could come and join the farm, they could build another house, you would have more hands to work, more guns to guard and fight off zombies, you cant tell me theres not room for a little community on that farm.

I see this ending badly, they trespass, but want acceptance/passage, yet deny anybody else the same.(like the wounded kid), Im calling it now, I see this heading into a bad situation.

I've seen it in action. It is def no slouch. It hacked through a dead pig. It's far more than just a shovel.
 
Don't get me wrong. I won't be using it for my every day fence post digging, but as part of a bug out kit I think it def fits the bill.

well, the loud thunder crack of a few gun shots in the dead silence of the night and the fresh warm blood smell drifting in the breeze from shanes recently sliced open guts oozing out was sure to attract the attention of the nearby walkers, not to mention the smell from that big fat cow the zombies killed and were munchin on, which was barely half eaten when the gang interrupted them with their little vengeance fight.

Could they be the folks that kid was with turned to zombies? He told shane they were only like 5 miles away camped by the road. Just a thought.

Also, could they all already be infected with the zombie virus just lying dormant till they die then it takes over?

well, if you get bitten by a zombie, it kills you. so carrying the virus doesn't quite seem to make sense

Shane was not bit, Rick killed him with a knife to the torso, then he came back as a zombie. The kid died by Shane breaking his neck, but he came back as a zombie, the security guards that Rick and Shane killed as zombies had no bites. That's three times the show has alluded to people being a zombie without being bitten. Perhaps the zombie virus is airborne, splattered blood or saliva etc gets on you and infects them, but doesn't really take over. Then when the person dies that dormant zombie virus takes over. Would have been interesting to see what would have happened to Dale, but he got a bullet to the brain which as we know is a kill all shot.

right, I was just making clear it makes no medical sense that the same virus would be dormant if caught airborne, but would kill you within 12 hours if its through a bite. Not saying its not whats happening in the show, just that it makes no sense :) The vague possibility is that the infection that kills you from a zombie bite isn't in fact the infection that turns you into a zombie then it might make a hair more sense
 
I would tend to agree that a zombie bite leads to infection or loss of blood and that kills you. What actually causes zombification would be something else.

Either way, I think everyone is already a zombie and they just don't know it yet.

What the hell did the CDC guy whisper to Rick and does it have relevance to our current dilemma?

I am interested in seeing how this works out too. Shane was my favorite character he had "guts" and was all about survival. He looked at the situation in a relentless way but worthy of respect. Kill or be killed, don't trust anyone, there are no rules and do what's best to stay alive. He was a strong part of that group and I would have liked to have him on my side when the farm is about to crawl with walkers, he for sure would lay the smack down on a few of them. Be careful though, he might shoot you in the leg to save his own butt ;). I hope they all get eaten now lol.

Haha I was going to say Shane would be more than glad to throw you under the bus when things go bad.
 
Just glad I don't have to see Dales bug eyed face anymore. He annoyed the shît out of me.
