The New Product Release Thread

I'm not quite sure how Hi-Tech would be forcing BSL to remove DMAA from their products.

Do you have any proof of this? As far as I know, Hi-Tech doesn't own any sort of patent on it and get suit happy like RK going after companies for using ingredients.
Prob because they are spending so much money defending DMAA that they want exclusive use of it

I was sent a few samples of fitjoy bars. Never had them before and can't remember which flavors I got but they were decent

Flavor are par to good. Nothing mind blowing. Consistency is off, they are chewy. Not as chewy as Venture bars but still a little annoying. If I see the single bars of the two seasonal flavors, I may try them.

If I see them I may grab one as well. Idk, I'm not all that in-to protein bars. The convenience is nice but I won't go out of my way to find a bar lol

Rule 1 to drop a new flavor on Tuesday

I have been very impressed with the brownie, salted caramel, pumpkin spice, red velvet myself. I know Rob1882 is enjoying it greatly.

After Bob's review, I filled a cart but its just been sitting there because to say I have a lot of protein on hand would be a gross understatement, but based on these additional reviews which reinforces Bob's (whose opinion I already have tremendous respect for, and Rob as well) I'll be pulling the trigger. Thanks for the contributions guys, truly appreciate it.

I've been interested in Rule 1 for awhile does anyone know a good retailer that stocks them? The Solution also

Rule 1 - Salted Caramel

This was very good; I used 60g ( 20 servings ) in 14 ounces of Fairlife blended quickly.

I thought it had a very good caramel flavor it was dominant to me and as good as Quests Salted Caramel which I thought was pretty damn good. I would def buy this again and likely will buy a full size tub of it.

Initial thoughts on the salted caramel

Looking forward to seeing what unique flavor they might bring out - But the Red Velvet, Vanilla Butter Cake ( Like birthday cake with buttercream frosting ), Salted Caramel and Pumpkin Spice were all damn good.

Choc Fudge, Red Velvet, Pumpkin, and Salted Caramel were all good from the Rule 1 Whey Blend.
Curious on Birthday Cake, Choc PB & CNC but i have plenty of protein, so don't need to buy more.. Actually need to get rid of some haha

Don't use too much with 2 weeks till a bodybuilding show.

How many did you take? Definitely stout.

All 5

Had couple samples I am not sure where I got them but from some order-uses the new extract I believe you guys sent me as mystery supps while back now haha anyways much stronger than I had expected combined in this.

Either way fantastic addition to OL's lineup

How do you get exclusive use of something that you don't own or have the rights to?
People probably arnt willing to put up a fight. No idea

They're supposed to be coming out with a creative new flavor on November first so I'm going to be trying a few tubs from their line up

We have an option coming in the not to distant future for stim sissys like yourself

Would've liked to see the citrulline around 6-8g. Pretty decent formula though. Too much stim for my liking however lol

L-Citrulline is the purest and best form of of citrulline available. Malate is cheap and half as effective.

4 grams is clinical dosage, so with each serving you are getting clinically dosed L-Citrulline, HydroMax, and Carnosyn.

"Dosage: 8g

8g of citrulline (malate) has been noted to reduce percieved soreness when measured two days after a workout by 40%, and this is despite increasing the amount of work that could be conducted during the testing session.

While other studies are not as promising as the aforementioned, this dose of citrulline still appears to be able to enhance recovery rates (both during a workout and the next few days afterwards)."

"To supplement L-citrulline to enhance sports performance, take 6,000 – 8,000 mg of citrulline malate about an hour before exercise."

I may be understanding it incorrectly. I know L citrulline is free form..

Not the place for this but

CITRULLINE is PURE and much less is needed that CIT MALATE, the ratio is 1:2
So 4g CITRULLINE= 8g CIT MALATE

Rule of thumb is that straight L-Citrulline is better than malate as it's more effective and better for N.O. effects. Price of malate to straight L-Citrulline is day and night, for a reason as well.

New product thread, questions can be asked.. no?

Also, link me please. I always enjoy reading (you can DM me) Thanks!

Literally all I found was what I linked through examine.

Examine explained it... Malate is basically like "cutting" you l-cit with something. To get 4g of citrulline, you need 8 of citrulline Malate because the malate makes up half of the total g's.

You may need double the dosage, but to say cit malate is less effective that regular l-citrulline is a crock of crap.

Not saying it was less effective, it's simply more grams to get the same effective dose of l-citrulline.

At the end of it, it's exactly the same as it's the citrulline content that matters, one just has a second compound attached so it requires more weight.

It's like saying you want 1lb of ground beef but you ordered meatloaf which is beef and pork 1:1... you have to order 2lb of meatloaf to get your beef ;)

For pure N.O. effects, I would agree that L-Cit is much greater than malate but I don't think anyone(well I'm sure some company probably is) is claiming that Malate standalone enhances nitric oxide more so than L-Cit.

Also, an 8g dosage of 2:1 Cit Malate(which results in 4g L-Cit) will produce the same benefit as 4g L-Cit. Malate itself is not useless, and actually has ancillary benefits.

I think you've made a fine product, but I just felt it was a tad disingenuous to make it seem like L-Cit is far superior to Cit Malate, as it depends on the ratio of the Cit Malays.

No arguments with you on why most companies use CitMal in their products and often don't disclose the ratio in their preworkouts. Some have 8g and are likely 7:1 :)

Without a doubt, I appreciate your comments. My goal was not to be disingenuous in any way, but to give insight from the manufacturing perspective; a side that most supplement company owners do not generally speak about.

That being said, we are for full transparency. Not only with our labeling (as we all know that isn't always the truth) so we are going to post full product testing on our site for every batch.

We didn't take the easy way out hiding anything. This preworkout was incredibly expensive to produce; there's a reason there's not many preworkouts like ours on the market.
