I see. I thought they have DMAA in one of their pre's. Anyway it's hard to get this brand in most of the online retailers despite all the good stuff I have been hearing about it.

God of rage does have Dmaa. 1,3 is dmaa. It's good stuff. Potent for sure.
 
Ill try the rocky road in hopes they reformulated it....cuz the last batch of the blueberry muffin bars before release were actually called white chocolate blueberry muffin and had chunks of white chocolate

Eh, I was semi interested in these, then I looked up the macros. Yes, less carbs than the real thing, but just as much fat. Price point does not justify the buy either. I would much rather have the real thing or make my own. In before I get flamed.

These have been out for over a year now...
This is not new news... They have had to be revamped so many times becuase the first wave was dry as hell. Second wave the filling flavoring lacked, now they have had to revamp it again to make a creamy center and improve the flavoring. They just can't seem to nail it.

sure they are low carb peanut butter cups..
mix yogurt + Whey... Freeze a muffin container.
Mix some PB lean or PB2, and use it as a filling then use the rest of the original batter to make your own

They are new in the sense that they updated the filling making it creamier and thicker. It is still a modification.

If you launch a product, and have to reformulate it multiple times (3rd time now) there needs to be some better QC Testing and sampling done before releasing it.
 
It may not be for the refined palates ITT but I enjoy these bars and this is a new flavor if anybody is interested

In regards to the quest pb cups.
..same calories as a bar and same protein...less carbs.....I didn't mind the og so these are a huge win for me
 
So due to Bob's discussion of Rule1 I picked up several tubs :) including the Vanilla Buttercake

Blended up 60g of Rule1 Vanilla Buttercake into 16 ounces of Fairlife

Initial thoughts sweet, creamy buttercream birthday cake; I liked it. I was not really sure what to expect but this could have easily been a birthday cake flavor. Who doesn't love buttercream!? :D

I will have to try the Pumpkin Spice next so we shall see if it lives up to Bob's description, but I am pleased with the vanilla buttercake.

I have had all of the flavors. They are all great. My two complaints about these bars are they are a little on the dry side and there is no texture to them.
 
went thru krogers today and saw quest bars on sale for $1.78
 
Ok I got in on the Rule 1 fun....Red Velvet. LOVE it, rivals the OG Iforce flavor. I like this flavor rich so 2 scoops in 10oz of water. Def. better than MTS & Cellucor attempts. Invalid Link Removed

After Bob's review, I filled a cart but its just been sitting there because to say I have a lot of protein on hand would be a gross understatement, but based on these additional reviews which reinforces Bob's (whose opinion I already have tremendous respect for, and Rob as well) I'll be pulling the trigger. Thanks for the contributions guys, truly appreciate it.
 
If you could buy 2000g of whey isolate (meaning actual 2k/g of protein), what's a price point you'd expect to pay? A lot of "5lb" proteins have around 1500-1600g of protein. Dymatize iso is around 1900. Considering making a direct deal piece for Nutraplanet. The problem would be limited flavor, literally only releasing in chocolate to start.

No idea why it needs to be improved. It's not even a year old. Sometimes companies should just look at fixing the smaller stuff like flavoring etc instead of always thinking to change the formula.

Like I said above, it's not getting "improved" it's gonna change because they have to remove the dmaa. They'll say it's "improved" but it wasn't a choice.

What about clumping problem, i find Extreme to be powerful but since using Hydroxyelite for past 7 weeks i have built a tolerance for DMAA, how long does it normally take for tolerance to reset with DMAA? 2-4 weeks is normal time for stim break but has anyone just switched to caffeine based PWO's and just Dropped DMAA for a couple of weeks to reset tolerance.

I thought Dust Extreme was good. Think Enraged Extreme is slightly better.

I'm not quite sure how Hi-Tech would be forcing BSL to remove DMAA from their products.

Do you have any proof of this? As far as I know, Hi-Tech doesn't own any sort of patent on it and get suit happy like RK going after companies for using ingredients.

Got the info directly from one of the major supp store and supp company owners. I don't know the details either but that's the reason its being pulled from almost all brands.
