The New Product Release Thread

I'm guessing it's powdered creamer?

and it tastes ridiculous in coffee. I can make a Pumpkin Spice Latte for 1/4th the cost of going to starbucks with a touch of fat free cool whip, dash of cinnamon, and a 1/2 scoop of man Pumpkin spice coffee amino.

Treats me perfect for pre-workout and lifting at 5 AM

Rocky Road launching November 1st for Quest
Personally this was the worst of their 3 new bars. The Marshmallows taste 100% artificial, and the chocolate bar is not as good as Double Chocolate Chunk or Chocolate Brownie

Artificial marshmallow?

could probably have fit real marshmallow chunks into that bar for maybe 20 cals more.

Ah well, Quest is no longer king of bars

any idea when we will get grenade flavors other than chocolate cream/ caramel chaos?

I'm dying to get my hands on the new banana armour flavor which is supposed to be limited

Take a double chocolate chunk bar
and dip it into a cold brew.
Mocha Chocolate Chip. Fantastic Bar.

bought sample tubs of on's blueberry and mango proteins for $1.25 each. they are both pretty good, but not staple worthy by any means. i'd say the blueberry is a touch behind ifn's. the mango is refreshing- it's nice to see fruit-flavored whey powders.

also tried the new sp250 and it is the goat pre-workout. das it. goat status. energy isn't crazy, but dem pumps, doe. tried it for the first time while on very low cals and literally 0 carbs (and fighting a hangover) and the chest pump was outrageous.

anyone try buff bake cookies? what's the verdict on those?

Have you ever tried the 4everfit mango whey? If so, how does the ON mango compare to that?

The chocolate chip cookie dough fit crunch bar is the best bar I have ever had, hands down. I kind of wish they'd get rid of the soy protein though. Looking forward to trying this.

It's the hot thing ATM

It's the stupid thing. Getting shelf placement in the bar section is almost as difficult as getting cooler space. It's low margin, heavy and short expiration. That's why SO few people do it well and most end up losing their ass. So silly.

I agree - quest still owns the shelf sadly
L&L own the cookie market - they are in every corner store and gym

Blows my mind people want to buy a cookie that is like 50+g of carbs 10+g of fat and like 16g of protein
You can easily eat a real cookie + half a scoop of protein for half the price. I never had one, but I can't justify that when half the cookie is almost 25g carbs

I haven't bought them simply for the shytty profile. Not everything I eat is the best for me, but I will skip by bars with junk profiles

Buff bake cookies are absolute garbage!

It blows my mind that people in 2016; STILL have an irrational fear of soy, and carbs in bodybuilding, strongman or powerlifting.. ;)

50-60g carbs pre workout another 30-60g intra and 50-70g post and among friends of mine who compete-with-success and are sponsored by fairly large companies now in those.. that is fairly low in carbs.

300-400 Calories is a drop in the bucket nothing but a light snack meh

Really? I had a few when in AU, thought they were pretty good. Much softer than LL

They have made several revisions to the style/methods used and in this have changed much over time for the better IMO

not just with pre work outs but with everything- whole country went carb nuts

salad dressing, practically every snack known to man, beer etc. The fear of carbs is worse than Jason Voorhees

I don't fear any one macro, I just try not to put too much extra sugar in my diet. Carbs are your friend. I just don't have time in the morn for a full on breakfast and I believe training fasted with BCAAs and EAAs allows me to have more carbs through my day.

At my best in my late 20s over 400 grams of carbs a day was my norm

99% of people just don't have that kind of caloric intake to be able to do that... competing? Yeah I can see that. Everyone else? 400 cals is 1/4 of my day... **** that

Yeah 1600cal and blowing a 1/4 isn't what you want when you have allotment lol

Growing season with more kcals, lesss go lol

Were the 99% now? This is a forum dedicated to fitness, bodybuilding/lifting in general anabolics-supplementation looks to me.. That alone puts us in a much smaller niche population to say the least.

I feel sorry for your 1600 calorie day; And would look into a reverse diet which Layne Norton & Sohee both propose, which I have used to great success over time. Having said that at no point in my life time have I eaten that low per day not even on a weight loss of 175# in under 2 years the lowest I got was around 1800 or just below and felt like I was dying on a daily basis. Nothx.

We are not everyone else.. And IMO a lot are suffering from eating disorders to various degrees but to each their own. This community weather we realize it or not are in the tiny tiny minority of the population.

That is you.
That does not apply to everyone. Some people have to suffer greater then others to get into shape, or finish off their dieting phases.

Trying to compare yourself to others who you have no idea about their metabolism is comparing apples to oranges. Just because you can eat more then 1600-1800 calories and lose at ease, does not mean the next guy or girl can.

Hell I know girls who can diet on 2300-2500 kcals with ease, and i know some guys who look at a carb and blow up. The human body is not a textbook.

Thats great you have the caloric allotment and carb intake to utilize that protocol for an optimal training session, but that is not the same for everyone who ventures/posts on here.

You are taking my words out of context; Fact is we are not the majority our goals are in the minority I only included myself as an example not to compare. I did not mean to imply what you claim I meant/implied. For what it's worth and I agree however we can control that and again I have taken a benefit out of reverse dieting which I did bring up.

Big balance between being healthy and how we define looking healthy. Being "lean" and in shape is often one of the most unhealthy pursuits one can have.

I had bpi peach cobbler and it was meh
But a protein might be good

That was an odd flavor for a BCAA it would be much better as a protein as a Pre/Intra drink it would need for me at least to be more sour like a Peach Tea, Lemonade or combination of the 2 with some sourness to cut the sweetness make it more refreshing.
