Can't we all just eat everything?
Do we also list all the things "I would rather eat"
Look slightly less calories![]()
Get real... Worry about what you buy and I'll buy what I like.
I hate Mayo to, not a big fan of Sour Cream or butter either.
If we did, we would never be in shape. We would be a typical american suffering from horrible health, living at mcdonalds every morning, and filling our shopping carts with TV Dinners and 2L's of soda.
Rather then a L&L Cookie I would have this... and they are cheaper per serving.

Donuts FTW
Colorado's Best @ Glazed & Confuzed.. There is an Orange Guava Donut up top there. (bottom right)
Thai Surprise in the middle (on bottom) which had a lemon cream kind of topping that was extremely unique.
The Peach Cobbler was cream filled, and they took a blowtorch to the freshly cut peach, then they added a honey/caramel drizzle on top. One of the best donuts I ever had.
<hater talk>.

I thought it was pretty good. Probably getting a box today.
Ghost Whey coming end of this month
Cereal Milk I am eager to see reviews on, same with the cookie butter

Could you pick up both and take half of each if they're otherwise the same?Shame that the A-Y dose is 6mg...that's a pretty big dose (for most people) at once. 2-2.5mg I would have jumped but I'll have to get the WAR version.

ith the other three being promised as launching sometime soon in White Chocolate Mocha, Dark Chocolate Mint, and our favorite White Chocolate Cookie.
I got to try the White Chocolate Cookie and its $$$$$$$
Not saying this is why anyone should eat the L&L cookies but they are vegan to.
There are. I've been pleasantly surprised at how many delicious things real bakeries are making now that are vegan and/or gluten free, to the point where I wouldn't even know if they didn't tell me. You don't have to stick to bland foods and snacks anymore for any reason, really.I'll make the mistake of taking this post seriously to point out the obvious: there are many excellent real bakeries producing vegan products.

Why do you seem so angry? Is this post directed at me for some reason? All I said is that I've been seeing more bakeries offering/advertising vegan and/or gluten free options in the past few years, and that they often taste good. Did these things exist in years and decades past? I don't know, so I'll take your word for it, but it does seem that the advertising for them has increased recently, so your average non-foodie has probably only recently became aware of them, even if they've been around for a long time. Do you want a pat on the back for knowing so much more about food than the rest of us? Why do you have to call people "fkn betas"?20 years ago you could said the same thing.. 50 years ago the same thing these are not new ideas or new recipes by and large substitutions and were and are consumed in many cuisines.
The real question for you all why do you care? And as I pointed out in a previous comment would you want me to say how garbage you all eat and how inferior each thing you buy is to something else? I am a gourmet foodie and cook and have been paid to form menu's as well cook for hosts of people my entire goal is often to make the best tasting thing possible with 0 regard to anything else so what is possible and what is typical are entirely different; But if you are not paying for it why do you care?
And are you all so sure on your own perception of taste? How many of you get paid to cook gourmet cuisine? And are you also food writers?
I mean get real... lol
Half of you fkn betas eat **** like poptarts and cold cereal I wouldn't feed that slop to my dog let alone eat it myself yet here we are.

What "absolutist views" have I made? It's at multitudes but I feel no need to go back and multiquote each person who makes such absolutist views
So you'd agree that it's true? Regardless of if its' been true for one year or 50, it's still true, no? I don't understand the hostility at all. There are. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that gluten free and vegan were not as commercially available 20 or 50 years ago.

I'd say that this is true for at least your average person, if not your "gourmet foodie and cook." I know I see much more advertising for these things, and more items on store shelves. Not everyone is a "gourmet foodie and cook" who looks down on anyone who isn't.I'm going to go out on a limb and say that gluten free and vegan were not as commercially available 20 or 50 years ago.

Oh, I agree that a lot of people simply go gluten-free because they think it's healthier for them. I don't have gluten due to medical reasons (if I could eat it, I definitely would), but I suppose I'm not going to complain about this fad because the increase in demand for gluten-free products has lead to more gluten-free options for people who actually need them (even if most of them are the pre-packaged and processed foods; I enjoy them sometimes). I do have to admit that it annoys me when I tell someone that I can't have gluten and they assume I'm on some sort of a health trip though. The gluten thing IMO is largely bull**** those with an actual intolerrance is much more rare yet we have this notion that it is common place the numbers on it seem to be fairly low given how much popularity that has become.
IMO just an opionion of course I think its mostly fade diet's like we seen in the 80s even every other month a new diet and the companies are largely just taking advantage of that from a marketing aspect and you got people like Dr OZ ( Lulz ) giving support to it.

My cousin has Celiac's. Even a bit of gluten destroys her for a few days
I see "gluten free" on things that are obviously gluten free, but like you said, if it's going to help them sell their products, you can't really blame them, but sometimes I do think "really, how could people even think this has gluten in it?"We even see gluten free on things that obviously have no gluten which I find more odd; I mean if their is a market for it I can't fault a company for filling it but I think/feel at least our education system has let us down in yet another area by and large.
Look at the 1980s to ref that again the fear of dietary fat we largely still in society have this fear yet even in the 80s they knew fat was healthy/essential and the companies removed fat for much more dangerous much more unhealthy ( if you will for lack of better word ) ingredients which are tied directly to massive spikes globally on obesity.
When I was a kid you couldn't eat "Real BUTTER" it was the devil or whole eggs ( On tv I mean ) and of course milk was bad for you could only consume a little bit but fruit juice as much as you want! or soda it's part of a healthy diet! lol all the fat free foods filled with highly processed carbs and saturated fats replaced with trans fats and the science existed long before we got to that point the media was complicit in selling the lie.
So I guess I'm scum and a bottom feeder since I don't often eat finer things and enjoy a pre-packaged good once in awhile![]()
i couldn't handle those for some reason. i'd still like to try the powder version, just for shizs and giggles
