Chicken Parm w/ Cutlets @ Cleavers (Philly)

Invalid Link Removed

Price to quality ratio is strong in this one. Loaded up with crispy cutlets, pools of melty mozz, flavorful pizza sauce, and salty parm on fresh baked seeded bread.

Wood recommend.

so you didn't actually eat it? 10/10 is not a useful review thought haha

No I got it shipped to my house, paid $30 for it to cut it into slices and feed the birds......

10/10 is not a good review? It's perfect.

sweet and salty combo from the caramel, pretzels , Graham crackers, chocolate and coconut which is an under taste.

hey, you never know with your pics... you post lots of stuff that other people at your tables ate. And saying LLN said it was good doesn't mean you thought that too...

Key word you..... becuase you actually know my family, and what they like. Anyone can make an assumption, but your statement is far from the truth.
- We eat as a family maybe 3-4x a year on the holidays (easter/xmas/xmas eve)
- Dad doesn't care for sweets. He mostly eats fast food for 70% of his meals, and typically orders out for dinner every night.
- Family does not care for ice cream.
- Mom barley eats anything besides pizza, burgers, chips, candy, and drinks beer.
- Brother lives in colorado.

I am not going to order myself a pie for my birthday just to give most of it away
about 99% of the things LLN suggests I get have been home runs. The guy knows his food.

Wait... that pie was 30 bucks?!?!

it came from Texas hence "Texas Trash Pie"
I ordered it on Goldbely. It was $27 on Pie Die when I ordered it, as it usually runs $37
I had credits from Goldbely, so it did not cost me a dime.

Dang... I'd hate to see the shipping cost on a Dutch apple pie then. You know all the way from... Holland :p
I'm just razzing you man, you're free to spend your money as you please ;) you ARE an adult

Epic local find: mom & pop shop owned by Italian immigrants doing pizza the real Italian way. Wood fired oven, 48 hour dough using old dough as starter, Caputo flour, Toppings imported.

Tuna, Parmigiana, and Pepperoni pies. The tuna is a combo (tuna, onions, capers, mozz, tomato sauce) I learned about in Europe at it is the GOAT.

Pint was packed with mix-ins. Flavor was a little weak, but good overall B-

That is one that does not even sound good!!

How does that compare to Paulie's? They both seem to be Neapolitan type pizza's.

Different. Arguably this one is closer to authentic because Paulie's toppings aren't VPN approved.

At the end of the day, in terms of flavor, both are top notch. This tuna combo is my favorite ever tho (made all over in Italy) and Paulie's doesn't offer it.

Interesting aspect is that they steam your sammy so it comes out all warm, soft, and gooey. 'twas a nice change up.

Don't mind the pb/choc rice crispy treat in the back. That was just to stay anabolic.

If they don't have them, I can send them from Chicago next week where I saw them if you want

They will most likely be gone next week. The guy I talked to said the demand was so high on them that they were flying off the shelves, and most stores they did not last a week.

Since demand was so high they may make them a regular item. When they come out with LE Items they get a select amount in inventory. Based off sales this is how they know what they keep on for good, or what they kill off for the seasonal months.

I would be shocked if they had them next week.

Well I will find it Sunday. Do you want them or not?

If there is grab it, but I am not having my hopes high. a friend I know who works for TJ's told me they are backordered till May when they may make a return as a full time item.

Cool. I'll take a look Sunday when I get it. If I make it to one of the atl ones in the next couple days I'll check those as well

Little G puppy chow

Loved the peanut butter ice cream, the puppy how pieces tasted stale but it was probably from the freezing. Not bad, but not great B-/C+Invalid Link RemovedInvalid Link Removed

How much swirl did you get? Mine was about half the damn pint. Can't tell from your pics. Agree some pieces were stale. It needed an extra kick of sugar like real puppy chow. That extra sweetness would take that pint over the edge.

I talked to grace and she said she is improving her bases (adding plant based stabilizers to help enhance the thickness and prevent icing), and going to change her OG LIneup when the new flavors drop in may. I am guessing Mint Cookie or Fluffer will be added to the original lineup of flavors you can order year round due to sales.

I had a legit swirl, was not bad. But the over abundance of stale and non stale took away from the experience. I heard a rumor they may open shop in NY. If they do I will be making several stops

She stopped the kickstarter to fund for it. Don't know if she is taking that step yet or not... But that is a life long goal of hers is to open a little G shop. When she was not as busy ( a few months ago) she was much quicker at replying to messages, now she may take a day or so to respond due to being in school full time and making ice cream all day on weekends.

But yeah that would be dope if you can experience it first hand. You may see it pop into your whole foods soon, she is expanding around the Boston area and sourcing her products into stores.

Dang that's rough, but she will do big things. The ice cream is so delicious. I hope the best for her

Man, you have awful luck with TJ's... I literally bought 3 jars of the ebtb seasoning just this past week... still had tons in the Chicago store I was at.
