7-Eleven Fudge Marshmallow Ice Cream

When you combine a very solid base with two great compliments you piece together a fantastic ice cream offering. The "Cocoa" labeled base took me by surprise with flavor as I would rank it up there as a premium chocolate base. This is no Jeni's do not get me wrong, but the sheer amount of richness in the chocolate is great. The Fudge ribbon packs a turkey hill like swirl that has a bold hershey chocolate syrup flavor. The marshmallow swirl is very light in texture, and has a nice creamy compliment to the bombardment of chocolate. If you are a Chocolate lover who enjoys marshmallow look no further. This brought me back to my campfire days of melting marshmallow's between two hershey chocolate bar's.

Grade: B+

GNO and I hit up this burger challenges tonight:

Burger, poutine, soda. done in 30min

I went in planning not to eat it all so I can enjoy more ice cream this weekend. But then after I finished 2/3 poutine, 2 burger patties & the bacon (24oz beef & 8-10oz of bacon) and still felt fine I thought I could finish. However, I only had 8-10 mins left to finish one third of my poutine and a burger & bun.
So I said screw it! I ate most of the rest of the poutine, left maybe a dozen fries at most and took a 12oz patty home for lunch today :)

I didn't have to pay because booneman77 is a solid guy! So I got to enjoy the meal for free, shoot the breeze with Boone and not feel guilty when I throw down ice cream this weekend. Winning!

Ya if you hadn't just been toying with it I think you definitely could have finished. Would've made our waitress even more uncomfortable ha

visiting just outside of Dallas Texas for the next week. Of course already tried in-n-out. And today I'm trying Hutchins bbq which is apparently stellar. Anyone else know some hot spots down here?

I have only been to Houston & Beaumont area so may be too far from you. Business or personal travel?

If on business or cost is not an issue, I like Flemings Steakhouse. It is like Ruths Chris. I would also google where there is a BnJ scoop shop near there because I hit up one in Houston last week.

It's personal travel, but money isn't an issue. I'm north of Dallas in prosper. We have Flemings and Ruth's Chris back in va. I'm all about one of a kind hole in the wall spots.

Curious what your thoughts of In-n-Out are. We don't have them on the east coast, but when I go to California inevitably family/friends want to take me there like it's the last supper with Jesus. I think it's OK, but I really don't see what all the hype is about. I personally prefer Five Guys burgers over In-n-Out.

I'm from va. It was the first time I had it and I put it LIGHTYEARS ahead of five guys. Fries were much better as well

Hutchins was amazing. Naturally I got the all you can eat meats: pulled pork, marbled brisket, and ribs for round 1. Smoked turkey, chopped brisket, and jalapeño sausage for round 2. Ate every bite. Everything was top notch. Best I've ever had.

Part of round 1

Also had free desert which I forced down on a full stomach: banana creme puddin, and peach cobbler

Picked up the almonds only and they're really good. Great sugary dusting on them. Not much spice but plenty of pumpkin flavor

^^ would go great in some pumpkin ice cream, mash in your own graham crackers = winning.

If you are going to hit a Fresh Market when you go to Handels look for the pumpkin spice chocolate covered almonds ... they're legit.

I can confirm this. They're awesome

No fresh market in Pitt brother that's Columbus next weekend

Not a fan of nuts in general

Ok gotcha. I still suggest you try some when you go to OH. They sell them in the bulk section so you don't have to get a lot. The coating is pretty thick too.

I ate one in the store and then went back to get double what I had already taken out. I also saw a brand of cookie butter there (Houston, TX location) - Amaretti. I got the CnC :)

All about the ice cream in columbus my man. Thats what i cant wait for!

I would have thought you would get more Handels and less from CBus. What's the plan from CBus (Graeter's, Jeni's)?

Love white choc. The candy corn m&m's are prob my fav of all the special ones. Hoping it's similar.
