I have always been a fan of chip nuts, Ketchup being my favourite. For those who don't know what these are, it's a peanut in a potato chip shell.
So when I heard they made a dessert version, called cookie nuts I had to try. I finally went to the store to pick some up. They had most of the flavours out to sample too (ratings are based off one nut).

Ratings:
1) Salted Caramel - Hnnnggg! They nailed this one.
2) Vanilla - I thought this would be mild but great.
3) Butterscotch - oh yeah! I might put this above vanilla after I have more.
4) Grape Jelly - High hopes for this one, might be better mixed with vanilla.
5) Cinnamon - I like strong cinnamon flavour and this needs more.

Edit: No samples of Chocolate raspberry & Coconut, but I bought them so will find out soon :)

Cannot wait. Did you try the chip nuts?

The chip nuts aren't new. I've tried maybe half the flavours, I'm not a big fan of spicy stuff so don't get those...

My chip nut rankings:
1) Ketchup
2) All Dressed
3) Sour cream & bacon
4) Bacon & Cheddar
5) BBQ

Dairy Queen Salted Caramel Truffle Blizzard

Invalid Link Removed

The Sea Salt Caramel's have a nice chocolate shell and are filled with a liquid caramel that melt in your mouth. The Toffee pieces were buttery, thick, and crunchy that provided a great crispy texture to the blizzard. Pair that with chocolate fudge chunks and it was like a diced up brownie mixed into the vanilla soft serve. A Very unique combination dairy queen put together to make one of their best blizzards in my opinion. While I do not think this tops the density and flavor the S'mores blizzard packed, it sure gave it a run for its money. While this is still limited I would suggest picking it up.

Grade: B+

But those bites were delicious

Just not as satisfying as a pint for similar cals though. S'mores looks and sounds the best. 2 more days until deep dish pizza & ice cream.
Karamel Sutra core or Taleni Cookie Crunch (both already in freezer)?

Both suck.

Talenti ---> PB Cup, Southern Buttern Pecan, SSC, and the new Salted peanut caramel/Hazelnut Chocolate Chip
B&J i have stated quite a few times already whats worth your time. get the PB Cookie/Speculoos core.

Krispie Kreme literally lasted about a month in my town. I wish I was able to try some of their seasonal stuff. The glazed donuts, when eaten right after they were made, were amazing.

Duly noted. However, as I stated I already have these flavours so have to eat them sometime.

Always ask first :) just like before you had Jeni's and Greaeters. I did not steer you wrong!

True. I was wasn't anticipating to see Taleni at the grocery store in Port Huron, no WiFi access so took a blind guess. Failed.

Hey I am going to join in the fun if you don't mind.. :32:

:) Hehe. Well I am trying all the recipes from a new book I brought, its called 'Protein Baking Evolved'. If you like to try any I can take a photo of the recipe and pass it on like that.

Double overtime baking because someone has a bday at work and I wanted to surprise. Bring it on!
Protein Carrot Cake (no wheat) with passionfruit ricotta cheese stevia icing

I'm taking this straight off the recipe book ok..

1/8 cake contains 183kcals: 11g P, 6.7g F, 21.7g C,

Adding the frosting means extra 40kcals: 4.6gP, 0.4g F, 4g C. Haha no one could tell there's no flour in it. Win.
