^^ you planning on trying cotton candy at some point? It got a bad review in impulsive but but I'm still going to try it.

This week I'm going to get the Oreo donut and then maybe break into the frappucinos next week (s'mores first)
 
I hear ya. I like real cotton candy, but I can't stand cotton candy flavored anything else. I even tried to like CC Focus XT, but couldn't!

What?!?! I just opened CC Focus XT a few days ago and it is delicious! I think they nailed the flavour.

CL Purple Wrath CC, which is the intra I'm using right now, doesn't really taste like cotton candy to me. It's good but I would not have guessed CC if I tried it blindly.

I actually think there is some truth to this, to an extent. A good friend of mine lives about 45 minutes away from his girlfriend and they only see each other Friday and Saturday, not the entire day though. They seem really happy. If they ever fight, they do not see ecah other for a while, so the dumb things seem to blow over instead of dragging out.

I'm doing it now... Pitt to Atlanta. 11hrs. On top of that I usually travel all week so even a visit is two days max and only when both schedules allow since the gf is a nurse and works a lot of nights and weekends.
 
i'm too cheap to do all that flying around on my own dime lol. But having some distance between you and gf does sound like it has merit

We're lucky in that her best friend is a southwest stewardess so she gets a companion pass that's good for 16one way flights a year and we only have to pay the tax and stuff. We get to see eachother about once a month for a few days at a time.

The dough part of the donut sucked! The sweet cream in the middle was the best part, not spectacular by any means, just okay. A bite with the cookie crumb topping and the cream was 6. I can see some people would complain the cream filling is too sweet, but not me.

For ~$1 you can't expect more really.

All great mate but sorry being a Roman I can't agree with the tiramisu meals, I missus is able to make one you can't believe it's real hahaha I'll ask her to make one and I'll post pictures :)

Yes my mistake, I did a wrong use of the word meal, my apologies. I meant... After tasting the original Italian handmade tiramisu, anything else like ice creams, anything, taste really..... Uhmmmm doesn't taste good cause I remember the taste of a real one, also my missus is very good at making it with bananas also or any kind of variations like pistachio or hazelnut :)

Real tiramisu and tiramisu favoured ice cream are two different experiences IMO

My grandmother used to make a killer tiramisu and I'll never buy store bought tiramisu as it is vastly inferior. Even most restaurants I've tried sucked!

However, sometimes you want a cold dessert like ice cream, especially in the summer. The texture and taste are going to be different cake vs ice cream, even if the ice cream has bits of cake in it.

Also, the ice cream is more convenient. Tiramisu takes a bit of time to prepare properly (ie. Soaking the cookies, assembling, cooking, etc)

I have had real tiarmisu from a real italian family (family owned restaurant) right in the heart of boston in little italy
anything authentic will always be better.

Saw these, but has anyone liked any of the chips ahoy flavours? The brownie filled were just average but at least they were soft cookies, these are crunchy.

The bday cake filled were ok at best too. Wouldn't buy again. Turned me off of chips ahoy specialty flavors.

I've never had any flavored chips ahoy, just normal ones. However, I'm not a fan of crunchy cookies. I didn't see that previously. I think that flavor would be better as a soft.

If I can find them for 2.50, yes. I have one Walmart kind of near me, but the review does not make me want to go out of my way. Next time I need something from Walmart, I'll check, but I don't think I need anything any time too soon. I will check my local grocery store, but since they are the harder cookies, I will not pay more than 2.50

The weekly ad for Shoprite was leaked yesterday. They have Chips Ahoy for 2/$5. I hope you don't have to buy 2, but I will check it out. Sale starts Sunday. Depending on the expiration date, I might pick them up, if I have to buy 2 that is.
