Mom and pop will crush it for sure. Donuts are good always, but a true heavy, thick doughed, handmade is gonna be so much better than the mass produced, light/airy and prob over processed dd. flavor might be similar but I can't see texture coming even close

The Chips Ahoy doughnut has two versions: there’s a plain version with chocolate frosting and cookie crumbs on top, and then a filled version with the same toppings and the addition of cookie dough-flavored buttercream inside.

Haha I'm sure you don't want to know. If I had to take a shot in the dark I'd say at least 400 each. Prob a lot more with the creme filling one.

If it had been thicker/heavier it would've been better but as I remember it it was like whipped creme but more sugary and less creamy/vanilla esque.

Interested to see if it's different for this one

So Dunkin Donut Review:

Chips Ahoy! Crunch Donut.
Tastes like a regular chocolate fried cake with crushed up chips ahoy cookies. The cookie pieces are not very crunchy, more on the softer side (like they are fresh baked out of the oven) but compliment the chocolate frosting well.

The Donut is pretty soft, not very doughy like a mom and pop place would make them. A bit better than Krispy Kreme (basically frosted and very light airy sugar donut) but has more texture, density and flavor.

If i had to rank donuts (just off my first one from DD) i would say DD > Krispy Kreme, but does not beat a small mom and pop place that makes the real deal.

Cream Filled Chips Ahoy Crunch tomorrow.

Looks interesting ... Jif isn't sold in Canada so never tried anything from their line but would pick up when in the US if either are good...

Crab and Spinach Pizza. I kneaded the dough as warmup for my PUSH day :)
(crab, spinach, mozzarella, garlic and thyme tomato base, blobs of ricotta cheese which i LOVE on pizza)

Sort of, but it's hard to describe as its a very unique flavor. More reminds you of cookies than tastes like a particular one.

Speculous (aka cookie butter) is a Belgian cookie ground into a spread. It's kind of tastes like a shortbread cookie, but more sweet than buttery.
booneman77 I've never seen the regular crunchy at TJ's during a US visit, but did like Bischoff crunchy. I have a jar of cnc TJ but scared to open it.

I had korean in dinner date last night :) Never had korean before.
Beef and mixed vegie and sushi rice in a hot stone bowl (you pour soup into and it sizzles like BBQ)

Basically you eat it with spicy vegie pickle (kimchi). And the main drink is soju which I didnt have.. lucky i checked cause it had alcohol in it lol

Was suggested by a buddy of mine who is a manager at one in california as a legit item.
He fills me in on all the stuff TJ Gets and what to buy when i go.
He has not let me down yet.
