tomarrow im going to be giving compete a run for it's money.

going to be running up A-mountain. if you aren't from the valley, you probably dont know what that is, but it's gonna be fun. esp since my back side is all sore. (hams, glutes, calves)


pink lemonaid focus xt taste amazing. hope the cissus helps with the joints, cause that 880lb prowler push killed my joints, all over.

We ran as fast as we could to the top of the paved part, then walked down the other side, then proceeded to do sprints up the short side. 4 sets.

Have you taken cissus before? I've never had though many do speak highly of it...

same, your workouts make mine look like cake walks :(

guess I need to revamp my leg days lol
 
na, im sure you guys go into the gym an give it your all as well. its a common thing with people like us.

Agreed.. everyone gives it there all differently. I am not always as strong, sometimes my numbers go down, but I am still giving it my all for that day!

Hit prowler yesterday at 3pm, me and another new guy hit sprints. I tried to have him go heavy, but it wasn't gonna happen.

So we sprinted with 6 plates 20 meters for an hour.

In the middle of the w/o, I thought it be a cool idea to sprint 6 plates 50 meters. That sucked.

And of course, at the end of the hour, finished worth a 30 meter sprint back to the shed.

Overall, good high intensity w/o. Compete kept my hydrated. No cramps. Good stuff. Next time though, gotta put some ice in my shaker. Warm compete isn't as refreshing as ice cold compete.

na, you would, it's easy, it's only 3 on each side, so about 270 + 70lbs for the prowler.

50meters sucks asss though.

so a guy at my work was saying he's at the top for pushing the most weight on the prowler, so, me being me, i had to inquire how much did he push?

He said 18 plates, i was like, nice, me too, lol.

He then said he thinks he can get 20 plates.... oh yea, an it's on....

we got some tires that are as tall (and taller) than me, as well as some other fun gadgets. gonna have to get a circut on with that stuff, and get it on video.. then sipping compete between sets..... :thumbsup:

my gym's got a bunch of tires out in the back parking lot.......ive never actually used them on a regular basis in my routine, but its fun to challenge people to a little "race" flipping them every once in a while :p

my gym at school doesn't even have a punching bag, seriously thinking about joining a gym that suits me a bit better :/

I'm giving the prowler a try for the first time. In a gym with AC, a nice little track and only 4 plates.
Don't know how long this track is, but its way to fukin long!

OUR prowler is breaking down, we gotta get some new feet.

Great prowler workout yesterday.

Sprints.

First push, 8 plates, second 10, third 12, fourth 10, fifth 8, sixth 6, seventh (30meters) 4, eighth (40meters) 2.

So didn't go too heavy, more endurance.

On another note, I think the cissus is working, my joints and tendons feel better after a week on it.

Going to take a week off from three prowler, and attempt another heavy push. Let my calves recover.

damn.... im looking more into this prowler thing. Looks like something I want to include in my training.

However, my gym (gold's) does not have one. Is there a way for me to do something like this at home? Some kind of "make your own prowler" or something?

My gym def doesn't have them! I am a member at 3 gyms.. big time gyms to, golds, la fitness, etc. never seen em.
 
if you knew a metal fabricator, you could have one made for yourself.

i've seen them for sale from 150-300 dollars. depending on how much weight you want to be able to load.

the 150$ one has a max limit of 600lbs, which is nothing.

I want to get one for myself.
 
no prowler this week. hit legs yesterday.

4 sets of front squats, 4 sets of back squats,

4 sets of free motion leg extension, 4 sets of free motion leg curl

4 sets of bulgarian squats.

prowler on monday morning, going to go for 20 plates.

YES sir, I enjoy it.

Wife said my thighs are too big for my body, and I look abnormal, so I'm going to try to spend more time on three upper and give the lower a break, plus, loading up all that weight on the prowler, we've reason the feet down till there are big holes in the bottom.

I think mine foamed a little extra because i didnt rinse out all the soap:p:(

well, if it comes out all runny, you'll know why.

but seriously, im sure it's fine, I add water into mine from the water fountain then shake. so the foam is limited. but when I rinse it out, it get real foamy.

i've always experienced this from quality isolates, and hydrolyzed whey.
 
thought I was going to have to go solo with the prowler today, but, I was able to recruit two new hires for some torture, uh i mean good workout.

so started with 3 plates on each side for 20 meters. (6x45lb) 3 times.

then bumped it up to 4 plates each side (8x45lb), pushing 40 meterss (20 one way, 20 back).

then 5 plates each side (10x45lb).

then 6 plates each side (12x45lb)

then we lost one of the newbies, he quit (i think he was gettin sick, lol)

we bumped it up to 7 each side (14x45lb) for 20 meters, I could tell the last guy was getting ready to say fcuk this, so I proceeded to begin drop pushes.

so dropped it to 6 each side, 20meters,

then 5 each side, then he was done, so I said, lets get a final push with 3 each side, but.... 30 meters! whoooo!

all in all, good workout.
