Good afternoon my Anabolic Minded ladies and gents! We at Anabolic Minds have decided to create a little squat challenge to be apart of you all reaching your goals! After all, that's what this place is all about, right!? We want to be apart of helping all of you by motivating each other and making this a tight-knit community where we all come together to achieve our fitness and health goals!

All that being said, this is just the start of many new things of this nature that Admin has coming our way!

Here is how it works:

Whenever you do squats you simply come into "The Anabolic Minds 100,000 Rep Squat Challenge!!!!" thread and add in your numbers.

For example last week I did 4 sets of 10 and I'll be starting us off.

So for Spaniard, put me down for 42! I'm not bad at math, I just really wanted to kill my last set and pushed for the extra 2 ;)

There you have it! Our starting number is 42! The next person to add in will simply add to that number!

This is a good way to hold ourselves accountable and make sure we're all putting in that leg work!

Remember, a good lifting buddy NEVER, EVER let's his or her friend skip leg day!

Please update the total as we go along! Its your responsibility to keep it going!

I did 8x8 working sets, no extra or missed reps since its a deload week for me.

So now we are at 106!

Do body weight squats and split squats count? My routine is squat less (when it comes to weights) this week and next.

I would say any leg work counts. Not everyone can squat as well.

Sure thing buddy! As long as it's a variation of the squatting movement itself we'll count it. What's important is that you're doing it.

The general aim is to get everyone excited about it and staying on track with their workouts.

If we stay the course we'll have to turn this into the 100,000 rep squat challenge! Keep it up guys! I think admin is on the right track with these sort of additions to the site!

10x10 for me and then 5x10 on hack squat so total is now 759

Do I count the squats I demonstrate to clients at work?
And what about range of motion?
Do half squats, (90°) count as half. So You do 10, but they only count as 5?

Then did two gym lengths of lunges and crab walks.

Like hell lol. Abs hurt, legs were shaking. Back squat 225lbs in 14 sets, if you want full details than check my log. And thank you I enjoy my insanity, it entertains me :)

We're going to hit 10K in no time! We're going to have to change this bad boy to 20k soon hahahaha!
