I'll be donating either tonight or tomorrow depending on how fast my check gets deposited... Maybe we should set a date when it gets closed for the raffle?
 
as far as the tax receips go, in Canada it has to be an actual charity recognized by the goverment to claim (it also has to be a 50$ minimum.) Not to say that this isn;t, but I was just under the impression this was a fund raiser.

Yeah, that's like buying a spaghetti meal for an organization. You don't get a receipt for this.. So this is the main reason why. We're not an official organization, and I'd be unable to hand out receipts.

UNLESS you donate, and send me a proof of donation, I put you in the draw.

If we don't reach 2000$ in 2-3 months, I will do the draw anyways though. But if you want your stuff now, recruit some more people!!!

I don't think it will. I want to make the mose winners I can. But if you buy 10 chances, you get 10 chances, so you can end up with 10 prizes..
 
I only bring this up because on a large scale a random number isnt really random depending on how the random number generator is made...

that's ok, we got a goal to hit and we will hit it! I am confident. I will be putting some in with my next paycheck! I think we just need to let more members know of the MASSIVE amount of prizes to be won!!! I mean even if you donate just $2 your chances are good and you've supported a great cause!
 
What about when AM wants you to view a thread and they make you go to the thread before continuing. I wonder if they could be convinced to do that for this thread since it's for a great cause.

i am really surprised (as others have said) that this is all the higher it is...
