TGR's Modified PowerBuilding v2.0

I decided to do legs twice a week. I don't get enough hypertrophy/accessory stuff in on leg day, so I'll start doing 531 FS's the day after deads. That'll give me plenty of recovery time for normal squats.

I'll also 531 my rows and see if they jump much.

What the hell was that guy doing? That was strange lol.

But nice work there, man lots of reps.

He was goofing off. He likes to chat, but I need to learn him my comfort zone.

Thanks Capo.

You know, this is becoming a habit, having to tell you congrats on PR's every day. Heck, I think you set PR's even on your off days...

Oh, did I tell you congrats?

Congrats Man!!

Lol - too many BCAA's today, think I got drunk on them...lol

Quiet, Turff, you're so drunk!..... where did I put that shaker...*hiccup*...damn, why is it always empty!

I can't decide what's better, your deadlift progress or squat - both have been soaring as of late.

It's even worse when you add whiskey to the aminos.

I gotta hit the newbie strength-gains as fast as possible. We all know that there is an inevitable plateau ahead.

I say I'd be happy with X/X/X, but we also know that's not true. lol

Thanks man! Looking forward to a bigger bench now that my arm pain is gone.

Rest day. I was up coughing all night.

New Finaflex product: Whiskamino! After 8 oz you won't feel the pain! Nice job in here! Allergies?

I think so. I'm taking Flonase, but it doesn't seem to do much. My eye itching is ramping up too.

Protein powder, say wut?

I get mine from Costco 48 buck for 5# I think

Mine comes from SAMs, similarly priced. I have some chocolate ARNOLD, which is quite tasty, but they stopped carrying it. :(

Hopefully it's priced like the Stimul8! I get 80 servings per container on it and can find it cheap at most retailers. Arguably the best PWO and cheapest per serving. Imagine if the Protein ends up being the same way!!!!

It's economical for sure.

Rip, with his better eyes than mine, pointed out that it may be a gainer. 50p, 170carbs, 900cals, if the image is correct.

That means I only need 1/4 scoop...lol

I agree with Brian - your constant PR's are crazy impressive!!! I hope you enjoyed your rest and are feeling better! That's an exciting add for Finaflex!! I can't wait to try it!!

Nighttime coughing was down, but still tired as heck. NyQuil contributed to both.

Thanks Kat.

Beastin' in here big man. Awesome stuff.

Thanks man. Just trying to not drag too far behind you.

I had fun getting a pump today. Tried to work on 1-2 finger FS, strapped FS, thumb FS, but they were all no-go. My arms won't bend over my bicep. I'll keep working on stretching that out.
As I was walking in a dude was walking out with a homemade kabuki mace. I asked him to name his price, and he said if I bring him a 1" pipe he will weld me one for free. I said I'll bring the pipe, but he needs to charge me something.
I'm so freaking excited.

I can't do front squats with those variations either... that said, my front squat is nothing to write home about anyway lol

This helped me with front squat position

I'll play with this tomorrow in between OHP sets, but I'm still certain I don't have this ROM.

The Super D mobility put some DOMs on my traps and rear delts. I couldn't quite get the last movement to feel right, tho.

It's a tricky one to break yourself into. I started with a light band and over time got to an average and then a heavy band. I was also coached on each of those moves and coach everyone I teach the routine to.

To get the shoulder smashed all the way back, you have to relax the muscles in the back. Lock your elbow, keep it locked, and let the band put your shoulder where it goes. Which, by the way, is how to set the shoulders on any press as well. Let the weight put your shoulders down into their pocket. As far as externally rotating, that can take a little bit of a motor learning curve if you haven't done it. You'll get there, keep at it.

If you got sore, you must have woken up shyt that wasn't pulling its weight before. This is awesome to hear. Means it can really be a boon to your training over someone whose shoulders act right to begin with. By the time you're proficient at the routine, you'll be thanking me.

No PRs today, but at least I got the prescribed reps on OHP. I think I should've backed off the mobility and stretching in between warmup sets. It may have taken some out of me.
Cough seems to feel like it's a day or two away from leaving. It needs to hurry. I'm strong to get a headache from all the coughing.

Damn allergies! EMOM OHPs sound brutal especially combined with the rest of this workout! Nice!
