Day 36 continued
My waiting around before going to the gym, ended up being a lost cause. It looks like I’ll have to wait until tomorrow before I can start my second bottle of V-1. Hopefully the effects will get in full gear fairly quick and I’m not back to square one. Either way, I should be starting at a better position, with both my strength and body composition.
The following was dosed pre workout:
2 scoops Craze
2g ALCAR
2.5 scoops Protocol
2 scoops Modern BCAA were used intra workout
For some reason the gym was packed tonight. I also had limited time due to arriving later than usual. I had originally planned on mirroring my shoulder routine from last week to see any performance changes since being without V-1. I wasn’t able to start with military press, so I switched things up and added various exercises that I hadn’t done in a while. I had a hard time judging my performance as a result, but I enjoyed the change of pace and felt like I got a solid workout in.
Shoulder Press (machine)
195x11
210x7
225x5
drop
150x10
BB shrug
355x15
355x15
BB Behind Neck Press
145x15
175x8
195x6
210x4
-I believe strength was up on these, but I hadn’t done them in a while, so it was somewhat expected (I’ve increased shoulder strength since last performed).
Lateral Raise (machine)
140X15
170X8
185X5
185X5
super sets (cable/rope)
Face Pull
100x10
100x10
100x9
Upright Row
100x9
100x8
100x7
super sets
DB Front Raise
25x12
30x8
drop
15x8
DB Lateral Raise
25x12
30x8
drop
15x8
Seated (bent over) DB Lateral Raise
25x12
30x8
drop
15x8
Vascularity was pretty strong, but nothing unusual. I didn’t have much of a pump until the final super sets. However, it was strong enough to give me some trouble taking a sip from my shaker when finished.
My diet stayed on track today. Calories were a little lower than they would’ve been if V-1 was currently in the picture.
Today’s calorie total and breakdown were as follows:
Calories: 5450
Carbs: 564
Protein: 413
Fat: 192
(40/29/31)
