If you don't want one, don't get it, you can always get it later but it'll be a pain in the ass to remove.

I have $400 saved, I'm getting lots of tattoos all over, once I get down to 185lbs, already have piercings though.

dont get tribal.. thats what is overrated when speaking of tattoos. be original if your gunna get tatt'ed.

and im not understanding the .. "i want muscles before i get tattooed' theory. Im not muscular but im tattooed and will be getting more tattooed in 2 months.

that's a good idea something original no one else would have:think:

When it comes to having a tattoo just get what ever you want. The only person who has to like it is you.

Omen,I never know when to take you seriously.

Tattoo's are art, so that's like saying paintings are overrated no?

I get tattoo's that i like and i usually have them drawn up so that no one else can get the same one. I also enjoy the pain you get from them. Don't not get one because you think it's cliche or anything like that. If you do decide to get one try to make it your own, and original.

I can't draw for **** but i have a good relationship with my tattoo artist and it's almost as if he can see what i want drawn and he draws it up. It gets expensive and addictive i've spent almost $4000 so far.

Don't get one. Have you seen any really old people sleeved? It isn't pleasant.

The only tat I could see with guaranteed relevance would be a religious one or a small tribute to someone who has passed. On both occasions I would get it somewhere very easily concealed.

I think tattoos are more of a fashion accessory so each person will like go through stages of liking particular tattoos but you should only get a tat for yourself i.e. don't get one 'cos your current girl thinks you will look cool.

At the mo I live in Germany and 10/12 years ago the only people who had tats were either ex-British military or sailors and I knew lots of ex-British military who couldn't get a job because of their tats. Since then tattoos, particularly tribal tattoos have become very popular but it was reported on the news the other day that the most popular plastic-surgery-type operation here is tattoo removal.

A lot of pain for a fashion statement if you ask me, but there again I don't like needles.

I love tattoos, but I only get them if they have significance to my life.
And you do not have to have muscle to make tats look good. Tats only look good if they are done by a good artist IMO.

Tattoos are personal. The person that gets them is stuck with them, so I see no reason why whether something is popular or not should have any bearing on what someone gets as a tattoo or if they get one or not.

Damn dude young grasshoppper the answers you seek aren't in this forum go find who you are/the vision for your life, then only then will you know if a tattoo is right for you they are popular right now and I don't want to face God after mutilating my body if that helps

I don't know...I mean now a days lots of people have tattoos. In 50 years it'll be common for older people to have tattoos. I too asked for advice on a tattoo on here but I realized that is dumb. That's like asking people what your favorite food should be. If you like it,that is what matters.

HAHA an obserd rant/opinion tattoos are stupid though i Wish i didn't have any

Do not get a tattoo. What if you rape someone and they see your ink? You're screwed. Same if you have have conflict with a gangbanger. His buddies that have never seen you could more easily identify you and come after you with a gun.

Exactly, well put you have to keep fulliy clothed while engaging in rape. And the gangbangers, **** I'm afraid to walk outside anymore

Hahaha sh*t, that's one thing I HATE about tattoo's, People identifying me after surprise sex in back alleys and killing gangbanger's !

Sh*t, they already have my fingerprints, now I'll just make it too easy! :D

get one only if it has significant meaning..theres no point to doing anything in life if it does not have purpose or meaning...think about it

Sometimes I wonder if people think before they say something. I'm going to reply to that and pretend you are serious just cause it amuses me. If you are raping people and having conflicts with gangbangers then whether or not you should get a tattoo should not be a priority.

You know, you get that tattoo of barbed wire when you’re 18. By the time you’re 80, it’s a picket fence.

I would not...the only time is if it has significant meaning don’t get me wrong I like them just wouldn’t want to regret it

get one of these.... it's the latest craze and everyone is getting them.... I mean EVERYONE!

i just kind of felt i would look better with one if i was more muscular
I think if your going to get one, make damn sure its done by someone who is a real artist and knows what the **** they're doing. Ive seen tats that looked good, but 10 years later they looked like an ink stain. Ive seen guys walking around with $5,000 worth of ink, in 10 years they wish they had all that money (and their livers) back.

..I don't know much about tats - are you suggesting tats effect the liver or are you alluding to something else?

Their livers?? Is there any proof that tattoos cause liver damage?

Anything invasive like that is potentially harmful to you internal organs and your cns. Yes ink injected into your epidermis can damage your liver, The majority of tattoo artists eventually die of liver disease.

Yes there is proof, a large percentage of HCV carriers got the disease from getting tattoos. If you have a tattoo, get a liver panel done. You probably have HCV, dont know it and have given it to other people. JMO

Isn't the chance of getting something pretty much zero if they use new needles everytime? Any half decent place uses new needles everytime.

I have 3 tattoos, 2 different places and a liver panel showed nothing (Although I got the panel to check for liver damage from oral steroids). The chance of HCV at a reputable place is almost zero. I don't know where Knowbull is getting his tattoos but it's not at the same place I am getting mine. Just ask to see the parlors autoclave; if they give you a confused look take your buisiness elsewhere.

Originally I thought the liver damage you spoke of had something to do with metals in the ink used for tattoos but again that doesn't prove to be much of a problem. Not only is there a relatively small amount or metal but the molecules of ink are too big to be carried off like other foreign matter that gets into the skin.

Yeah...that is what I thought. Especially with HIV being such a big deal now a days any half way respectable place will be alright. I mean if tattoo's caused liver damage then somebody like travis barker or kat von d would be in trouble, haha.

What is an autoclave just out of curiosity??
