Feelin great - very solid workout. Happily still getting stronger. Hilarious. I hope some of it sticks!

On a side note - I found out today that a semi famous online supp retailer has an open to the public warehouse just 2 blocks from my gym.
So I went to visit of course.......felt like a kid in a candy store! They had phs, sarms, and every otc supp known to man.
It was fun!
 
Day 71
Joints were feeling good and I felt recovered after 2 days off, so I pulled pretty decent weights for 20s and 15s.
Worked upper back, traps, and some bis

Day 72
Every jackazz and his sister was at the gym today......complete full house and everyone on the phone!

Still got a fantastic old school McCallum workout in. Just chest.
Hammer decline - 5x10 heavier ...went up to 4pps
Then 10x10 not so heavy
Hammer incline - 10x10
PecDec - 10x10
Pushups - 3x amrap
And done!
Completely sore and completely pumped...go figure!

Day 74
So lethargy is almost a constant but manageable. Still feeling strong and pushing serious weight.

Did bodyweight pull downs with super slow on the positive AND the negative for 5x5. Coulda seriously gone home after that!
Did 3 sets of fatty pullups x amrap....getting considerably better at these.
Then a bunch of endless sets and reps for bis and forearms, including:
Single arm precherz
Reverse curlz
Rope curlz
Forearm curlz

Arms sore and pumped 2 hours later

Ain't that the truth! Fortunately, I've taught myself to take anything available, and just settle in for countless sets....without even muttering too much...;)
 
Day 78
Going to be logging a very promising keto product, which also supports cardio work, so I'm switching over for the duration to hi rep/quick break scheme to test the limits.
Basically 5x20 with 90 seconds between sets. (no stop watch - my breath/hr come down to workable between 60-100 seconds anyway; no matter how hard I work the set).

Had a disgustingly delicous carb up last night. Didn't plan it intelligently enough, but it served its purpose.
Did a concetrated but cardio centric workout today: just 5 exercises, but each one for full range 20 rep sets, with a max of about 90sec between sets.
Did:
Close grip pulldowns 5x20
Fatty pull ups 3x amrap
BB delt presses - behind neck 4x20
Front neck 4x20
Hammer delt press 5x20
Everything was with decent weights, just not super heavy.
Felt sore and pumped when done; I'm beginning to suspect you can even grow AND get stronger with hi rep sets..

No hunger yet... Will have an omelette later and some greens

That sounds like the range and type of effort you want to be putting in. You want to grow from 20 reps do em at an RPE8 or 9!!!!

I see people work in higher rep ranges all the time and often it seems they decide, OH Higher Reps means lower weight. Time to go through the motions... NO it is time to work until it is hard to complete. Now just for general volume and RPE 7 is groovy baby but to really test your metal and see some nice growth push into those higher RPE's on the higher rep stuff and things get real, real fast!

Let me tell you - I don't got time to waste my time (as my coach used to say!) I make every rep count...even when working up from lighter weights, everything is slow and controlled. When the pos feels too light, I take longer on the neg. Today I actually did a heavy 5x5 "pre exhaust" before hitting the 20s - awesomely fantastical!

Day 86
Very tough to get my 20s today, but I got it done. If I want to do this 20 thing again or longer, I have to psyche myself up into using lighter weights. It's like back in my powerlifting days at the beginning of a new lifting cycle, we had to drop the weight and raise the reps. Drove me nuts! So today I basically pushed heavy weight for 20s. Had to do some rest pauses, but I worked every rep.

Did delts and some more tris today. Still doing 20s on every set. Interestingly, realised today that when doing 20s I get a full body pump! Must be recruiting all kindsa different muscle groups to get in my full 20 - even though I'm always super strict on form. Hmmmm???

According to the calculations done by swmbo and averaged from 3 scales: I lost 3-4 lbs of fat and gained 7-8 lbs of muscle. Other than the fact that I feel and look better than I have in years, I'm waaay stronger than I ever expected to be. Now if I don't mess it up in pct and manage to hold on to some strength gains while continuing to cut fat.....I'll be one happy dude!
