Just vegetables in general can make you feel bloated and retain water. Lots of fiber leaves the bulk of the meal in the stmoach longer.
Plus if you're using lots of spices I tend to notice that make me retain water too. Basically anything my stomach has to work extra to digest. Which I guess is why pro bodybuilders eatvplain boiled chicken and broccoli and that crap pre contest. Salt for the win
+1 on what he said for volume of food, fiber, and veggies holding in the system longer
+2 on Spices = More sodium, even though we should not avoid it .. it can cause it.
Just being real, even if there are no changes the volume of the food you eat may cause for bloating and discomfort, hence lowering.
Even the volume hasn't changed though. I've literally eaten almost the exact same meals for a couple weeks ha.
That said, I looked and felt much better this morning. Must've just been a little fluke bloating for whatever reason.
I find the days I go to bed bloated from veggies and what not I wake up diced. Dunno why
Time to digest = longer, overall carb load and water-retaining potential = less 8 hours asleep (ideally) is plenty of time for digestion I find the same

Went out for dinner to this cool little bar place. Sweet Thai chili chicken lettuce wraps and a grilled dragons breath cheese with pulled pork, slaw, peach chutney and grilled plantains. Power pull today. Had an awesome deadlift session again adding weight for reps. Not feeling any CNS fatigue yet as I was at this stage in my first 6 weeks of this training layout. Got totally screwed by my fam tho as they told me to come over for the steeler game and dinner... I thought that meant we were gonna eat when the game started so I planned my workout and such around eating at the start of the game. I get here and they're not eating for like 2 hours. I'm friggin starving to death. So pissed.
I'm not worried about it I'm just hungry as hell ha. Makes me miserable and tired. And there's no protein shakes at my parents house.Its not that big of a deal bruh! Chill and maybe have you a protein shake!
