So I made a big decision to take a new job I got offered at work... Its basically going to turn my entire life on its head as not only will it have me moving to Atlanta, but I'll be traveling basically 100% of the time. Going to have to totally re-think how I train, eat, etc as there wont be any chance for a regular schedule like I have now. No regular gym, no cooking, no packing food, etc. Tracking macros is going to become a nightmare. Supplements will be minimized if at all.
I wont be starting until the new year so the next couple months I plan to really do everything I can to hit it hard in the gym but also enjoy my time at home with my friends and family. Probably gonna focus a lot less on staying lean as I can worry about that while I'm on the road and have nothing better to do ha.
That said, while I'm on the road I might have to meet up with some of the bro's around here for a lift now and then as I pass through anyone's towns. Might have to start a thread to see where everyone's at and hit you guys up for a session if I pass through.

wow that's awesome man! congratulations on the new job! that's gotta be exciting!
Congrats on the job Boone!
Congrats bud!
You can easily track your macros on the road, and you can easily buik cook a few days a week when traveling to help combat this. Matt Jansen the owner of Inov8 does it and travels on a plane every week to shows and events without skipping a beat. Just keep things simple and easy The best part about this for you is it will take a lot of your mind off food and supplements and training, and focusing less on it. So you wont be anal 100% to the T all the time. You will start to probably see the best gains of your life from keeping things simple, getting in and out of the gym, and also focusing your time with the restrains you have to make the most of it. Sometimes being a bit looser = better success. i know that was the case for me and many others as well. Sometimes we focus so hard on our diet and training that it backtracks us from our true potential. Congrats on the new job.
bring me! the Puerto Rican in me will help you out
holy care package batman!!!!
Right!? Dude hooked me up
Cannot wait to try this either... Chocolate covered banana <img src="http://anabolicminds.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=108596"/>
Whoa. This sounds amazing. Frozen choc covered bananas were one of my fav treats as a kid.
Lower your fiber/veggie intake ^^^
Just vegetables in general can make you feel bloated and retain water. Lots of fiber leaves the bulk of the meal in the stmoach longer. Plus if you're using lots of spices I tend to notice that make me retain water too. Basically anything my stomach has to work extra to digest. Which I guess is why pro bodybuilders eatvplain boiled chicken and broccoli and that crap pre contest. Salt for the win
