i am an athlete and train very hard daily. I due get sore..espicially after a leg workout. Last almost two days or so. Lower back aches as well. What is a good staple supplement to take for this type of soreness, etc..I stretch alot and still have soreness? I know there are probably some good supplements besides ibreprofun that can help?

Proper nutrition, post workout supplements and rest should help your muscle's recovery. The faster you recover, the less time you spend being sore.

Prime. i actually have trouble getting sore.

Not the cheapest option but it is what I would suggest BUT a good BCAA supplement like Xtend/LG BC+EAA will work nearly as well if dosed high enough. If you take in 30-50 grams of BCAAs a day in addition to your food that should shorten or eliminate a lot of your soreness and it won't break the bank. Also, adding in something like LG Ghenerate would not hurt and it last for a LONG time if you dose 5 on/2 off. I am sure you could do both BCAA and Ghenerate for the cost of Prime, even at a small dose like 6 a day.

BCAA mixed with an extra scoop of bulk Taurine. That's my "morning after" cure-all.

T - I never thought of that! Excellent suggestion considering how cheap bulk taurine is. I might add that in when I start my next cut here in a few weeks... decisions, decisions.

Funny, I just ordered a Kg of both from nutraplanet earlier LOL good stuff. I throw in some BA too

also look into zyflamend by newchapter, epson salt in the bath tub with hot water, lie in it for a few minutes before bed, Traumeel pills or lotion for spots and stay adequately hydrated.

yeah bcaa is proably the most reasonable solution the more I learn about the body though you proably dont want to eliminate soreness completely as inflammation is a trigger for many growth factors such as igf-1 and so forth. Its kinda a give and take thing bcaa and high protein isnt really stopping it but speeding recovery.

i buy a kilo of glutamine and thats like magic for me...take at wakeup post and before bed...u can never have enough so u can play and add pre as well

not a supplement but it still works depending on muscles, do cardio for the part you just trained. i ride a bike for about 10 mins after each workout and my legs arent sore the next morning. i cant do much about the rest though

Increased quality of sleep = increased recovery.

Our first round of logs for HGHpro were very telling in that recovery was significantly improved in a short amount of time.

From 15-30g per day..for me wakeup, post and before bed is key..u can add extra through out the day if u need...

these have all worked for me in the past.

HGHup,Primordial performance MAP,Cissus,Fishoil. but u can really get by with a good protien/BCAA suplement like MAP i find it hard to get sore when i use this.

Super Cissus Rx USP labs, It is my fix all. I am 42 and this stuff keeps me from hurting.

It certainly exerts anti-inflammatory effects.

only thing that works for me is indica strain weed and ibuprofen.the rest are kinda just placebo.sure goodsleep and stuff like fishoil helps, but you need those on a daily basis anyway.

lol you cant placebo reduced pain. I like large amounts of fish oil and regualr use of BA.

Glutamine is 65% of ur muscle tissue, then BCAAs are 30-35% of the remainder, EFA's, NO Boosters will aid in recovery.
